I had an amazing experience with Doku Clinic for my plastic surgery abroad. From the start, Ezgi, my medical consultant, guided me through every step and was always available, supportive, and reassuring throughout the entire process.

My surgeon, Dr. Engin Ocal, was very professional and honest during the consultation, clearly explaining what he could and couldn’t do. He made me feel comfortable and confident moving forward.

The staff and hospital were incredibly caring and attentive, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I would highly recommend Doku Clinic to my friends and family.

Super Team von der Beratung bis zur op und Nachsorge war alles super

Tutto é stato perfetto sin dall'inizio ed oltre ogni immaginazione. Ho contato 19 persone che in tre giorni si sono alternate nel seguirmi, un terzo delle quali parlano perfettamente l'italiano (o qualsiasi sia la tua lingua madre) senza contare gli infermieri ed altro personale tipo OS da noi. Nella clinica Doku opereranno 10-15 pazienti al giorno, c'è una quantità impressionante di personale specializzato ed ho trovato altissima professionalità, disponibilità, organizzazione, gentilezza, non ultimo tecnologie e tecniche all'avanguardia. L'ambiente é molto rilassante, nella hall inaspettatamente ascolti bella musica, e sei a metà tra una cantina moderna ed un disco bar alla moda. Sai sempre cosa fare e dove andare, non ti lasciano solo nemmeno dopo la partenza, sei seguito passo passo. L'intervento é un pò lungo, ma solo un po' fastidioso e dimenticate i racconti di chi ha avuto esperienze dolorose e sanguinanti.
Una clinica d'eccellenza che consiglio a chiunque decida di fare l'auto trapianto dei capelli.

​I recently underwent a PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatment with Dr. Mehmet and Ms. Zeynep, and I cannot recommend their services highly enough. From start to finish, the entire experience was characterized by the highest level of professionalism and medical care.

​The Process: During the centrifugation (separating the plasma), I was kept informed about what was happening and why it is crucial for the treatment's success.
​Application: During the reinjection phase, they guided me through the sensations I might feel, ensuring I was comfortable at all times.

The team works with incredible precision. Dr. Mehmet’s expertise, combined with Ms. Zeynep’s attentive and professional support, made the procedure seamless. They took the time to answer all my questions regarding aftercare and followed every safety guideline to the letter.

Found the full experience brilliant the communication with Julia before arriving and during my trip was great she is lovely and so friendly. Dr Öcal was amazing and made me feel reassured throughout the process, the clinic is beautiful clean and professional would highly recommend and will use again for a different procedure in the future

I strongly advise to avoid Doku clinic due to deceit, malpractice, unprofessional treatment and lack of accountability. I underwent nose surgery at Doku Clinic and ended up regretting in extremely much.

Before travelling to Turkey for my first surgery, I sent his assistant inspiration photo of the nose I want to know if he can achieve similar. I got assured it is very realistic expectation and would be achieved, so I chose and trusted him. I paid the price very heavily for that choice. I’m extremely regretful for it. It turned out much more different to the nose shown in the inspo photo than my original nose did.

He did the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of what I wanted. Without my knowledge and consent, he made my nose bridge curved (the photo shows a straight bridge), reshaped my nose tip to be horribly sharp (I wanted it to be left rounded), and he made my nostrils visibly uneven. He also made my nose look crooked from the front. Making changes without patients consent is a very serious violation of medical ethics and also illegal.

Despite he got informed of how much this harmed me, he shamelessly blamed it on swelling even 7 months post-op to avoid responsibility. He took my money through deceit, deformed my nose, caused me severe psychological pain, and refused to take any responsibility. He showed no dignity and conscience.

Rhinoplasty is meant to improve the nose, but Serhan Derin made mine much worse than it looked originally. Turkish lawyers I consulted confirmed this is malpractice after I sent the evidence.
I have also sent photos of my nose for a professional assessment and feedback I got is that from a surgical perspective it does not meet the expected standards for an aesthetically pleasing nose and it’s unsuccessful.

I later reached out to Doku Clinic via whatsapp, hoping for a solution like I am entitled to, but I got ignored and then blocked. Despite I tried to resolve it amicably with them, they weren’t willing to cooperate. This is how Doku Clinic staff treat patients who are victims of malpractice, they ignore and block to not deal with the consequences. Surgeons and clinics generally prioritize patient satisfaction, but Serhan Derin and Doku Clinic prioritize only patients money. It has been such a traumatizing experience.

After I publicly exposed what Serhan Derin did to me on a platform, the supervisor threatened me with legal action on request from Serhan Derin, thinking it will intimidate me, but his plan failed. That said a lot about Serhan Derin’s character. His malpractice wasn’t enough for him, he also had the audacity to make an empty threat. The supervisor also falsely claimed to have made an effort to give a solution, with his attempt to manipulate the situation.

People should also know that Serhan Derin’s rating is manipulated on platforms like Trustpilot. I reported his fake reviews due to how suspicious they seemed. After the investigation, I got an email from Trustpilot’s team which confirmed he has many fake positive reviews. Having him get his team to to post fake positive reviews is considered organized fraud. The detection technology detected that the reviews were posted from Turkey, but VPNs were used to falsify the locations that appeared. However only the reviews I sent screenshots of were removed, so he still has many fake positive reviews left on Trustpilot.

He also reports negative reviews for false reasons, he tried to get rid of mine with excuse “private information” despite it’s just his own name I mentioned which is public info. My review got removed, and then reinstated after I clarified it to Trustpilot. Who knows how many other negative reviews he has unfairly got removed through false reports. A surgeon who manipulates his public image through fake positive reviews and deceives about the surgical outcome isn’t someone that is safe to trust with your face. You should avoid Serhan Derin and Doku Clinic at all costs. I posted the evidence on doku clinic profile on Google since it’s not possible to post photos here.

Ho effettuato un trapianto di capelli in questa clinica con tecnica DHI e a distanza di tre anni posso dare un giudizio completo. Nella visita precedente il trapianto era stata concordata una linea frontale diversa che il giorno dell'intervento è stata modificata non ascoltando minimamente le mie rimostranze. A parte questo l'intervento è andato bene come anche il post operatorio. A distanza di 12 mesi i capelli sono ricresciuti ma, nonostante le cure con Minoxidil, Finasteride e Serenoa Repens, poco a poco hanno ricominciato a cadere anche nella zona trapiantata che loro garantiscono. Ad oggi posso dire di aver perso circa la metà dei trapiantati, fatto certificato da visita dermatologica, e nonostante rispetto alla situazione di partenza la condizione sia migliore ciò non mi permette comunque di mantenere i capelli con tagli diversi dal rasato o molto corto in quanto si noterebbe il diradamento. In contemporanea feci anche un trapianto di barba che a differenza dei capelli ha avuto un attecchimento non ottimale e, nonostante le prove fotografiche inviate al servizio clienti che dimostrano diversi buchi nella zona del pizzo, non ho avuto nessun intervento di riparazione in garanzia. Ho ricevuto solo risposte che la ricrescita era normale, malgrado fosse evidente il contrario, e davanti alla mia insistenza mi è stato detto che il dottore avrebbe riguardato il mio caso appena possibile. Mai più avuto una risposta nonostante sollecitazioni

Sono un cittadino italiano e voglio raccontare la mia esperienza personale con questa clinica.
Ho speso migliaia di euro e, dopo l’intervento, io non ho ricevuto una cartella clinica completa.
Ho ottenuto solo messaggi via WhatsApp e alcuni fogli che, secondo me, non hanno valore ufficiale.
Inoltre, nella mia esperienza, non mi sono state consegnate neanche le fatture, nonostante le richieste.

Quando sono tornato a reclamare, la risposta è stata sempre la stessa: “è solo gonfiore”.
Ma i problemi per me non sono mai spariti.
Oggi mi ritrovo con una punta del naso abbassata, una narice più grande dell’altra, punti che si sono distaccati e fossette che hanno allargato di nuovo le narici.

Il risultato, dal mio punto di vista, è devastante.
Non solo esteticamente, ma anche psicologicamente: ogni giorno devo trovare la forza di andare avanti con questo naso, e vi assicuro che non è facile.

Scrivo questa recensione per avvisare soprattutto gli italiani: non fermatevi alle belle parole o alle foto pubblicitarie.
Chiedetevi cosa succede quando le cose non vanno bene.
Perché io oggi vivo con rabbia, delusione e con la sensazione di non avere tutela legale.

Se qualcuno vuole capire meglio, sono disponibile a raccontare in privato la mia esperienza.
Pensateci bene prima di scegliere questa clinica: io, potendo tornare indietro, non lo rifarei mai.

I’ve been researching hair transplant clinics in Turkey, Australia, and the USA, and reached out to several, including this one, to share my details and medical history. I was transparent about a specific medical condition—fully managed and supported by current medical science.

Unfortunately, this clinic responded in a way that felt dismissive and discriminatory. Rather than taking a modern, informed approach, they relied on outdated information and masked it as a “concern.” It was clear they lacked up-to-date medical knowledge and sensitivity in handling individual cases.

This was the most disappointing interaction I’ve had throughout my research process. Thankfully, other clinics I approached have been far more professional, informed, and respectful. I’ll be continuing with one of them instead.
