Throughout our process of getting our mortgage we couldn’t fault Dutton Gregory but when it came to completion we had issues that were out of our control but were firmly in theirs.

They then proceeded to lie to us on the phone multiple times and also avoid our phone calls until we persisted in calling for updates as it was going to effect our completion date.

Other than the issues with completion they were a very good solicitor to liase with but they did take a bit of prompting from me and my partner to inform us if there was any information needed in our application for our mortgage.

I found Dutton Gregory from a research online. I needed a solicitor for my divorce. I am 100% satisfied with their support. They were quick to do the job and to respond to all the emails. I am particularly grateful to Jonathan Whettingsteel who was able to explain the procedure in a simple manner to me so I understand. Also, I moved to Italy and I was to do everything online.

Couldn’t recommend them enough! Hirakshi was wonderful throughout the whole process even after so many delays (that were not in our control) she always responded to our queries in a very timely manner. Reassured us throughout the whole process and made our first time buying experience as stress free as possible.

Jason was pragmatic and professional in dealing with a difficult Conveyancer on the purchase side. With all house sales, the final exchange is the critical period and due to holiday, Jason made sure that Lily picked up and handled in his absence. Lily was excellent and handled the final exchange, provided appropriate updates and really helped in making sure the deal got across the line.

Was a pleasure to deal with them and gives confidence to know that they have good support available, to ensure clients are not exposed when holidays occur.

Katie has been absolutely amazing. Super proactive and great at communication. This is the second time we have used Dutton Gregory and I can’t fault them. It was really lovely to have such a personalised service and feel really looked after during what can be a really stressful time.

In 2024, I used Dutton Gregory twice. Once to support a separation agreement for employment with a company of over 30 years with respect to redundancy, and laterly in the year for a contract employment agreement.

She kept my sister and I fully informed throughout the sale of our mum’s house, and aware that we needed a quick completion to satisfy the Care Home, was very proactive and efficient throughout the conveyancing process which greatly reduced our stress and worries.

Communications were always clear and polite, and completion was achieved by 10am on the agreed day, with the proceeds being distributed accurately and in a timely fashion, according to our wishes.
