Pay council tax, need to speak to them? HAHAHAHA! It is nigh* IMPOSSIBLE! Shocking website, shocking automated telephone service, I have never seen/heard of a customer service that is so user unfriendly. The design is very awkward to navigate, and it is particularly slow. I can understand why elderly and less IT literate individuals struggle!
*Your best bet is to use the call back service, you'll still have to listen to a load of automated messages, but I did get a friendly and helpful chap call be back after about 1 hour, which I must admit, I was not expecting!
Bin collection is good but thats about it
the difficulty with Ealing is its unwillingness to talk directly with residents , they focus on totally irrelevant global issues like so called ' Climate Change' LGBTQ ' and BLM while ignoring the important issues that effect local residents . my beefs with Ealing include refusing to respond to emails and calls , even after issues have been escalated nothing gets done . even trips to the offices get a make a phone call treatment . the planning decisions are a joke and no attempt is made to respond to the actual points made , they dont even properly notify locals of major building works using yellow notices on lamp posts that many people do not look at and many landlords cannot see as they are not resident in area , they also fail to crack down on rogue landlords in the private sector who ask top dollar and fail to carry out maintenance , the lack of due diligence and responsibility by Ealing gives landlords carte blanche for landlords to exploit tenants

Appalling service
Appalling service. It is not acceptable to have to wait for more than an hour to talk to someone and to sometimes be cut off after that time.

AWFUL
A bunch of useless, unprofessional and clueless people. Staff is rude and unhelpful. Simple task of sending a paper copy of my council tax bill seems to be impossible for them! I must have called 5 times requesting one and still to this day I have not received it!

Made an account on here just to let others know to not even try to call them about any queries regarding pcns.
Everything is automated and leads you to the payment line. What a joke. I was fined for going through those stupid plant pots they have placed to "reduce traffic" even though these things have probably caused more hassle and traffic in the first place. I have tried paying the pcn one day late and the only option I had on their website was the reduced charge of £65 and nothing else, not even any option to write in my own amount. So i paid the damn reduced charge and then after a month I get a letter saying i didnt pay the full amount and now I have to pay another £130. I wrote them an email right away explaining the situation, after over a month of waiting I got a letter from them saying that it is now too late to appeal anything and I have to pay £130 or they will reffer it to the court. What a joke. I will be trying to contact these fools again.
Unclear review process
I chose to make an informal challenge of a PCN and used the video that was provided to me in that respect. I thought this would initiate the dialogue around the pedestrian who was in the middle of the street. Sadly the Council chose not to acknowledge the existence of the individual and has send me a blank statement "you should not have been on the bus lane".
Thankfully the pedestrain is uninjured and well, my kid was not exposed to the drama of what could become a car accident and the council must be very pleased to know that they got their money.
My feedback to the Council is that a bit more ownership and empathy would have gone a long way here. For example a better reply would have been: "thank you for making your best effort to avoid the pedestrian who was crossing illegally the street, we have a zero tolerance when it comes to bus lanes and so we invite you to pay the PCN".
Absolutely AWFUL council
Absolutely AWFUL council, they lie, cheat and are just lazy.We were on the list 17yrs before we got a place, SafeHaven they called it. We were promised a flat, when that failed to happen they told us to use Locata, a quarter page for Ealing and all not open to us to bid on. When we complained and told them we had been promised a flat they said the person that said that has left so hard luck. Totally ignorant, we have a bad neighbour issue with her kids hammering the floor by just stamping in place, called the council, they said its kids, tough. Explained that the neighbour was telling the kids to do it and joining in, tough they said, just kids. When proved the neighbour had lied to the police and made stuff up apart from screaming I was a paedo and stalking her the council just ignored it all, so I get from 8am till 11pm of her small kids taking heavy objects to the floor, screaming, shouting bad man, another neighbour complained of the horrendous noise and you guess it, ignored. But if I bang back they will take action against me..Utterly unbelievable..If there was an AC-12 type unit for crooked council people then they would have work for years with this lot..

The Ealing Labour council's imposition of the most badly designed LTNs ever has wreaked havoc on what was a cohesive and supportive community. They have caused huge divisions in our community, made pollution worse and inconvenienced everyone. Some businesses are struggling badly as a result. Yet their councillors simply don't seem interested, and are a disgrace to the positions they hold.

I parked my car for 20 minutes in Ruislip road ,on my return I saw a ticket and reason was parking out of parking bay, there was no visible lines on the ground ,most of the lines are faded and it was very heavy rain on the time of parking, so it shows how desperate they are to ripe off our pockets,
Even in their photos there was noting to show that my car is out of any line( which obviously there were not any) and they declined my request, as they are sure many people will give up fight and they can get the un fair money.
Awful customer service
So hard to get through to a customer service rep and when you get through you have to listen to their unpleasant staff. I couldn’t understand one thing and the guy kept saying ‘madam, how many times do I have to repeat myself’ - in a raised voice. Sooooo rude. I truly couldn’t understand how their system work and was trying to get some advice. The response was very unprofessional. I lost my interest in talking to this person and just said goodbye. Still don’t know what to do….
Terrible council - 20 mph speed limit in force everywhere
Terrible council. Probably one of the worst in London if not the country. No sense of customer service if you're lucky enough to get in touch with someone. They make it so difficult to get to speak to someone. And now some bright spark has made the whole borough a 20mph speed limit area. Avoid living in this useless borough and definitely don't buy here. Not good quality of life. Neighboring boroughs better.

There is absolutely nothing worse than this council. Most dishonest, unprofessional, crooked council in the land. They will cheat and lie and steal through their noses, and will not care if customers end up on the kerb, as long as it does not cost them. Shame on all of you working there. the highest council tax and the worst service in the whole city. i've lived in several boroughs in London but never ever I've seen anything more appalling. how can you increase the council tax by 5.9% with the economic scenario we're living in? where does our >£200/month council tax go? nobody picks up the phone, services are cut consistently, and you have nobody to complain to. let's ignore the parking system and the rubbish or my rant will go beyond the allowed limit.

Its regarding the self employed discretionary grant for second & third lockdown (continue) 2020 to 2021as a newly self employed haven't received anything from HMRC with UC payment just managing my rent Trying to call trying to contact different ways letters & emails but still have not heard anything Newly self employed are struggling with huge financial difficulties but council doesnt even open the applications for discretionary grant this is ridicules
