What a total shambles Ealing Council seem to be ....... Ive been chasing them for one and a half years now regarding a historic child abuse matter from my time in an Ealing Council childrens home during the 60s ( 23 Sunnyside Road ) ..... and they started off by getting someone aka " Mrs Pepperpot " to call me who suggested i buy myself some expensive chocolate and write a letter from my 7 year old self to the long dead lady who ran the home ...... and now after 18 months of chasing them and being bounced around all over the place to people who either totally blank me or promise that someone else will call me who never does they now suggest that i contact the Information Commissioners Office .... if it were not so serious it would be the most farcical joke worthy of Mr Bean ...... lets hope Ealing police and MPs have more about them ....... PS amazing that so many other people on this website seem to feel the same about them, 93% and they never seem to respond to anyone.

Everytime I drive in the Borough I wait a few days and sure enough a penalty charge notice comes through. The signage put up makes no sense at all. Some restrictions have been put in place then removed and then sneakily put back. It's a total scam.

Terrible customer service, they don't care and won't help, also telephone number is wrong on letters that send and can't get through to right department. Sort it out ealing council

New signs everywhere and do not look like a no entry sign its different to trick you and are not clear and to high up and you need time to stop look up and think if you are allowed to go down a road or not while there are other cars behind you. No clear warning before hand when taking the roads. Even the neighbours are not happy with the signs and it was all supposed tobe done for them but really is a scam to trap you into paying ealing council money. And also i got the car penalty charge notice 23 days later so in that 23 days i didnt know and carried on going through that road like alot of other people. Four fine tickets arrived and plenty more coming. I appealed with 5 emails and and called (you cant even enter the council or talk to someone on the phone for the charges ) no reply still on my 15th day no reply yet. I heard from the neighbours, family and a friend who done the same thing that Ealing council do not reply just will send you a rejection letter with double the fine. Great investment for the Council worst council ever complete scammers better not to drive there and walk. Everyone are getting tricked by them signs . Will take legal action

Worst local council Ive ever dealt with, absolutley no care for the people that reside in their district. Want to do the aboslute minimum for the people that pay their wages and dont put in any effort. been trying to book a notice to marriage for over 6 months and have had no response after trying the online booking service, emailing the normal contact details as well as the management email and been their in person to be told by the bouncers on the door that no one works their in person and they agreed with me themselves that the place was an absolute joke.

Good grief. I have honestly never known a public service who go so far out of their way to avoid serving the public. It is impossible to speak to anybody, the website is so circuitous and maze like there is almost certainly a minotaur doing the coding. I simply wanted to report a half emptied food bin, but was bounced so many times by the online reporting tools that I gave up an hour later. No surprise they haven't even bothered responding to complaints on Trust pilot!

In Southall, the safest Labour area in the whole of Labour dominated Ealing Council, poor mostly brown and black residents have been subjected to five years odour nuisance and toxic air pollution from the redevelopment of, and digging up of a hundred years of toxic waste at the massive old gasworks site in the centre of the town.

The Council are receiving £12m from the developers Berkeley Group yet Ealing Labour Council Leader says it would cost too much money to take legal action to serve and defend in court an abatement order. Our quality of life and health are clearly not important enough to Ealing Labour Council.

Southall councilllor and new council leader Peter Mason recently trumpeted that they installed an independent air quality monitor (after five years), but the monitor doesn't measure or record any of the gases from the gasworks site that could be causing odour nuisance or air pollution.

The council also distributed thousands of leaflets promoting their appointment of a dedicated Environmental Protection Officer (again, after five years if complaints), but failed to include the correct direct phone number. When they distributed corrected leaflets the out of hours number was omitted all together.

The developer and the council has always admitted that their work created nuisance odours, even providing a handy list explaining which toxic or carcinogenic chemical caused which odour), although they denied any health impacts as it would 'clear in days' (they said in 2017).

In 2019, at a packed and angry public meeting, then Ealing Labour Council Leader Julian Bell admitted that the odour was 'a nuisance, a BAD nuisance' that he had known about since January 2017. At the same meeting, Public Health England admitted that levels of naphthalene 'must be urgently reduced' and that people with Asian and African heritage are genetically vulnerable to potentially fatal naphthalene poisoning.

In the years preceding this meeting, Julian Bell and Peter Mason accepted gifts and hospitality from the developers Berkeley Group worth over £30,000. They refused to declare these financial interests at the public meeting.

Ealing Labour Council have collaborated with the developer Berkeley Group to poison the local population in a similar way to Corby Steelworks, Flint Water, and the Erin Brockovich film. Berkeley Group have provided air quality monitoring data that is incomplete, out of date and doesn't add up (not unlike Southern Water who made up data), and repeatedly insisted the toxic air is harmless (much like we were told tobacco was harmless, thalidomide was harmless). Time will tell, and the truth will out.

literally was assigned the most unfair and rude housing officer at this excuse of a council lmao. she keeps going back and forth via email, instead of helping us find a home, stressing both me and my mum out for weeks and not taking our housing needs seriously, which is urgent as we'll be homeless if it's not fixed. we both are tired of not being listened to and feel that we're being blamed by this housing officer for a situation that is not our fault but that of a landlord who is greedy, dishonest and incompetent. they never investigate these kinds of landlords, instead they gaslight you and make you feel as if you brought it upon yourself. they are unprofessional and lack basic empathy and don't care for the emotional distress of their residents, as long as they're getting that cheque, right? 💥💳💥💳💥💳

The car fines are a joke. They have so many new restrictions without CLEAR signage. Fuming. They make millions from pple like me who make wrong turnings without knowing. Something needs to be done.

This council will not stop my neighbour waking me up every half hour or hour all thru the night. Instead of investigating her they wanted to investigate me. I know julien bell was taking huge backhander to set this up as i am being targeted and stalked by a multi millionaire . The new guy peter mason will also be taking the backgander so there is no way in hell they will help me when they are part of the problem. This council is a criminals den disguised as legal. I dont know how these thugs get away
with it.

To describe Ealing as an omnishambles would be to generous a word. It's a lawless, shameless organisation governed by a CEO who has done nothing and lead by a leader who loves the sound of his own voice. If you are thinking of opening any kind of food business in this Borough DO NOT. The council cannot provide you with the services you will need to it's not a business focus council with the food safety team so under staff and so badly managed its beyond a joke. This council lives from one scandal to the next it's management are so inept they will suggest you break the law if you complain your complaint is managed by the team your are COMPLAING ABOUNT.The councillors are all self serving and do not have the residents or businesses interests at heart they have this own they don't serve the people who elected them they help themselves. So if you want your business destroyed and you have the money to burn by all means do come and open a business in Ealing if not run for the hills and find one that is business ready

As everyone else has said Ealing Council is the worst council in Existence .I was accused of owing council tax , despite property rented for a number of years Ealing after my complaint was suppose to refer my case to the Valuations Appeal .Instead I was dragged through various courts ,complained to the Ombudsman dept .The amount of information collected borders on terrorism .Mr Tyrell is the worst member of staff ,I've ever had to deal with ,in all my life .I've asked for all information Ealing has on me ,via their GDPR /FOI .I will also be going to the Media to expose Ealing Council In fact I'm going to request Ealing be audited and staff vetted .Never seen service like it

Horrible service, poor customer service, don't pick up garbage, don't cut weeds, they don't do anything but over charge you for taxes!!! I couldn't get through to the inept customer service how they had screwed up my account. Deplorable, worst in London!!!!!!

Happy to issue parking tickets but not so happy to deal with appeals. Considering I was not the vehicle owner you would think this would be easy to resolve as there was a dealership number plate shown in the front screen of the vehicle.

Useless , extortionate , woeful , hopeless -that's Ealing Council
After years of suffering one of the highest council rate ratios to customer satisfaction and work done , i have had to resort to add my bit to what is Mount Everest of complaints against this junk heap of ' elected joke ' of a council .
I have always paid my council tax , never in arrears but i pay in instalments rather than standing orders . When i have been late , the full weight of the 'mafia' management shows in the mail received ..2nd reminder ...lose the instalment choice etc etc .
Got to ask why they are so quick on the letters but so poor on any response to emails , queries , loads of goobledygook , multiple departments to contact for seeming simple issues . Roads are a mess , potholes , trees damaging properties , paving , kerbs , cars . Always quick to make a fast buck scheme but useless at schemes that benefit the poor electorate .

This is for the closed Culmington Road W13. A few months ago, this road was closed to passing vehicles, but it was very poorly marked, so many vehicles were definitely fined.The advice on Ealing is a bit like a robber, and ten years ago it was really fun here, I wonder who took over these offices?

The highest council tax, the most infuriating service. I've been asking for better solutions for my waste disposal, and yet you are avoiding my emails and providing no help. We are still left with having to leave bags outside the house with no bins, like in a favela, then foxes and other animals will smell the smallest scent of food and turn the whole road into a landfill. This happens to the most experienced as to the novices on the road. It's shocking to see the level of utter couldn't-care-less attitude to any problem you ask for support on. We should all go on council tax strike.

The worse council in the UK. The worse private landlord acquisition team. None responsive, lazy acquisition officer by the name of Patrice gave me a filthy, disgusting tenant who left my apartment in dirt and scum. Shame on those running Ealing council.
