I ordered the fasteners that were specified in the water pump replacement kit for my Jetta MKV. I didn't buy the kit because I wanted a Rein pump and it wasn't available that way. Anyway, none of the bolts for the passenger side motor mount were correct. The M10 with the small threaded stud on top of the head wasn't needed, at least not the little threaded stud. The other four bolts were M12's, but my car needed M10's with 16mm hex caps. Not sure how you could make a mistake like that, but I've seen how-to videos where they ran into the same problem.
Update: The customer service manager at ECS reached out after reading my review, and actually suggested I was probably trying to use the fasteners they sent me in the wrong places, because their system couldn't be wrong, apparently. And after wasting my time, money, and insulting my intelligence, I have received no apology, no admission they could have been wrong, no call tag for the parts I couldn't use, no offers whatsoever to try to right the ship. Talk about stellar customer service.

Ordered a license plate and screws on March 24th…estimated delivery day was April 3rd….then April 7th…NOW? May 8th…. What a terrible headache. Last time I’ll be ordering parts here.
Update:
They reached out after the review and offered a free shirt and overnight shipping. They also elaborated on the reason why it was delayed again, providing a little peace of mind. Great customer service.

ECS accepted my auto part order and then waited 5 days to tell me that the part wasn't available. I could have gotten the part and installed it in that time.

Prices are fair, like the lifetime warranty on certain items. Shipping was very quick and everything arrived undamaged. Really good variety of merchandise. Website allows you to only see items that fit your car so you do not waste your time.

i would have to say u have to be very clear when messaging on the customer service but i had a large order for bf and he actually made the order part by part timing chain k04 turbo upgrade all the good stuff etc. well i had promotion code that was 25 off 250 but order was over 3000 and what they were able to do was take order down from 3074 to 2899 with free shipping and of course sales tax but it would of been of been well over that because this was well over 20 items and some large items plus i got to keep all my sweepstakes entries for the new rs3 built

Total garbage customer service, they sent a delivery to the wrong address (via PayPal error) contacted ecs before the order shipped was advised by Matthew the sales consultant he couldn't cancel the order and they couldn't find it and to dispute the charges on PayPal ...ended up receiving the package by contacting the homeowners and canceling the dispute after receiving the items as advised. A year later I placed an order and they now tell me because I filed the dispute with PayPal as Matthew advised to they can no longer accept credit card or PayPal payments from me and it will cost me $35 per order to wire transfer them the funds oh but they can waive the $25 dollar fee on their end so spent hours back and forth to no avail they just lost a customer followed their instructions to a t what I was told to do and they won't make it right, "Edit " Ecs tuning fails to mention they acknowledge the phone call regarding this issue was not recorded but did happen . Very convenient but that's fine they lost a customer for life. Based on my research this is a common issue with ecs tunings customer service goggle it . FCP EURO had my order filled and delivered in three days I also contacted their customer support to she how difficult they would be lol not 1 problem beautiful ai works flawless to check on your order I will continue to purchase from FCP euro I will actually pay more money to know they have a customer service team that isn't an group of scumbags.

I had a bad purchasing experience that erased all the good will I've had with this company. I purchased was attempting to purchase exhaust tips for my Audi. The best value tips I saw that looked good from the picks and appeared to be sold in pears according to what they have chosen to use as a display pic as well as ECS having the word "pair" in their description was Rennline. Because it said pair and showed a pics of two exhaust tips, I purchased a quantity of two, because two pairs equal four tips. Instead, ECS sent me a box of two only. The box of two looked like the manufacturer packaging, as it wasn't a standard packing box, it appeared as it had the manufacturer labels on the box itself, so it didn't look like ECS grab two individual exhausts tips and stuffed them in a box. The tips genuinely looked as though they came as a pair.
I reached out to customer service, letting them know I purchased a quantity of two pairs but only received one. I got a very dismissive email from Matt stating that the tips are noted to be priced each and I needed to purchase a quantity of four if that is what I expected to get. But he completely missed the point where I said the description had "each pair". Once you put pair in there, it means that it comes in twos like a pair of socks. If someone purchases a pair of socks, you don't give them one sock. I was so annoyed by that response. I took a picture of their product description of their product page highlighting that it says pair and shows pictures of two exhaust tips. It was crickets, no response. I checked for the same product on other sites and noticed that other sites specified the exhaust are sold individually. That is all ECS had to do with their product description to avoid confusion and not misguide someone. I went ahead and purchased the remaining two exhaust from manufacturer rather than give ECS any more money. They don't care about customer loyalty.
I hated the way they delt with my issue and completely got turned off by them and won't be making any more future purchases for my build from their site. I meticulously created a long wish list of upgrades for my car that I wanted to purchase. Now I will only reference that wish list to look up the products on other sites going forward.
I even Googled the word pair for this review just to ensure that I am not mistaken.
A pair can refer to:
A set of two similar things.
Two items of the same kind.
Two people considered as a unit.
Thank you for dismissing my concerns and giving me terrible customer service. I never went off on a company in a review like this, but I feel mislead and wronged by the way the company handled my issue.

I greatly appreciate ECS reaching out to me and attempting to make things right. It restores my confidence in them to continue doing business with them in the future. Bringing my initial rating with them back to 5 stars.

So, this is my second and last time I will ever need to write a review. This time I ordered and CTS downpipe for my A3. I was so surprised when it came so fast. I picked up the box and it felt very lite and to my surprise I found they sent me a catalytic converter and not a downpipe, about a 400.00 difference in price. I shipped back the cat and sense have not been able to get my money back.
For years I have been buying parts from ECS and no problems, I have spent over 10k on my A5 alone. I can only assume what is going on with this company. But never again.
So, as so many people have said, buyer beware you have be warned.
Hoping my credit card company will handle this.
