Easy ordering, timely shipping, great bikes! My only disappointment is the rear brakes on one of the bikes make a grinding noise.

The bikes are great, the customer experience not so much. I love the Model R for it's features, and being able to customize / personalize it. Build time in November was only two weeks. The pick up experience was not fun. The guy going to get our bikes from the back, thought it was more important to stop and chat with friends for about five minutes. We just stood there watching in disbelief. The promise of a free bike rack helped us make the decision to purchase from EBC. However, the "free" bike rack required me to buy $100 worth of adapters to use it. I asked about perhaps paying more for an upgraded rack more compatible to step-through models, but they would not accept my bike rack back since they consider it as "used". (It's made one single trip about 4 miles to my house). Every interaction with these people, I was promised a call back, and they never called me (three times). The motor sometimes has an interesting scrapping sound. When I inquired about it, one of the builders blew it off claiming he was certain it was a rattle the hold-down on the rear rack. This is not possible as the spring is very tight, and the sound comes from the motor, not from the ride. Not what I would call a concerned service experience. Fortunately the sound is random, and not often. In fact, I haven't heard it on my last three rides. Hopefully i won't have any more issues causing me to return to the store and I can just enjoy my new cool ride.

The quality of the craftsmanship is exceptional along with the protective packaging for shipping. The bike was delivered in flawless condition.

I am very pleasantly surprised by the ability of the battery to hold its charge. This makes it very convenient to hop onto the bike for a quick short ride. Still holding its original charge since taking delivery a couple of months ago. Please understand your experience may vary depending on your settings and ride frequency. Very pleased with the bike and recommend it highly for those looking for this type of bike.

It was easy to configure and order the bike. I found it really easy to contact customer service about a few questions I had. It is a very well-built and beautiful bike. It has good power, and I feel like I can adjust the pedal resistance to the level I want.

I have a little over 2000 miles on my Model R, and I absolutely love it! The hills where I live (Ozark mountains) are no challenge to my explorations. I travel on paved and gravel roads. I did need a new charger in the first year, and EBC sent me a replacement. No further issues, lots of fun!

Your product is very well built. The bike is very sturdy and the ride is great. We stayed with the standard colors, one white and one red, and they look great. Didn't buy bike for attention but they are certainly noticed when we ride together. Battery life is as advertised. Battery life is very good at lower gears but in higher gears you do use power quickly.

I purchased 2 bikes. The price and the quality of the bike is the best. Great warranty, best around and we looked at several different companies. We received 2 beautiful bikes. Very happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend to our family and friends. The only thing was the shipping price..I live in NJ so it was pretty pricey to ship. Should of tried to get a break on that cost.

Had heard about ur company from Lance at Siesta Key Bike Rental in Siesta Key, Fla. very high and complimentary. When it was time to buy an electric bike, I watched the video of your manufacturing process. That sold me, outstanding process with quality to match

All of my transactions with the company have been great. They took my money and sent me bicycles. However, before I figured out some things on my own, I have at least one email that has not been answered and got some incorrect information when I called about some tire issue. Other than that, I love the bike I bought and probably would buy again

My wife and I each have a Model S, purchased several years ago and now with over 6,000 miles on each. After one year, the main controller on both bikes needed to be replaced and Electric Bike Company did so at no cost. Since then, after two more years of regular riding, there have been no further issues. We still use the original batteries, which I believe have held up because I charge them regularly during the winter. Battery capacity has diminished slightly, but that is normal. We live in Northeast Pennsylvania and ride on secondary roads with a lot of hills. In this terrain, with the batteries being three years old now, we get about 50 miles per charge. At the Jersey shore, where it's flat, the range is much longer, 75+ miles. The bikes have sufficient power to climb long, steep hills. They are very solidly built, using quality components -- brakes, tires, etc. (Get yourself a set of toe clips, for use with regular shoes/strapless. You'll be glad you did) One consideration I would note to potential buyers - especially older riders - is the weight of the bikes. With battery, they weigh 65 pounds. This provides a solid, steady ride, however if you're going to be loading and unloading them on a car rack, it's do-able but not fun. You'll need a trailer hitch on your car to use a rack such as the Thule platform. In order to load the bikes (assuming you have two) you'll need to remove the front baskets or else you're going to have a devil of a time getting them both on. This becomes tedious if you use the car rack a lot. If this situation is yours, I highly recommend getting the rear travel bag that sits on top of the rack as opposed to the front basket. In general, though, we absolutely love these bikes and recommend them to our friends all the time. I would buy another bike from Electric Bike Company for sure.
