Absolutely awful! I have someone trying to access my credit so I was told my my credit card company to freeze and put a fraud alert for each credit agency...Equifax is the absolute worst! Why do I have to work so hard to protect myself from a system I didn't ask to be a part of? And calling them? Their AI system is the WORST. Can't get a hold of anyone, isn't correctly interpreting my inputs, wouldn't let me speak to an agent and hung up on me. So much time wasted. Please do better!

I’m sorry that I had to choose 1 star, I would give NO stars if that was an option. The company and website, even the AI who answers the Customer Service line, are collectively not user friendly. Just tried to register and before I even signed in for the first time I was told to use “Account Recovery.” Waste of time.

Absolutely the worst credit reporting agency. I spent one hour on the phone with customer service to unfreeze my account, to no avail. The rep assured me that he un-froze it but he lied and did not do so. Have been trying to call back but the call has been dropped over 10 times and counting. The agency should have its license revoked by the FCC or FTC.

All three credit reporting agencies are not for the consumers but ONLY THE HIGH INTEREST CREDIT CARD COMPANIES HIGH INTEREST LOAN COMPANIES THEY ARE ALL QUICK TO DESTROY YOUR CREDIT EVEN FOR ONE MISSED PMT YOUR CREDIT CAN BE DESTROYED WITHIN A.SECOND AND STAY ON YOUR REPORT UP TO 7 YRS AND BEYOND EVEN AFTER DEBT HAS BEEN PD THEY ARE QUICK TO HAVE COLLECTION AGENCIES INVOLVED CALL AND HARASSING UP TO MULTIPLE TIME IN ONE DAY AND EVERY DAY (WHICH IS ILLEGAL)

Pure scam, how is this allowed to control lives of people in USA!!!! Our Congress have to look into this, called my State Office and trying to get more people involved. Website is unsecured and just recently enabled Auth. This scam org is employing people from all around (mostly non-English speakers), which is concerning! Most scams originate from these places. Someone needs to be held accountable.

Poorly designed Ai Nothing worked, TOUCH OR SPEAKING. Get better IT help! Company Shouldn't be allowed to operate like this.

I had some frustrations filing disputes, it requires all the disputes to be done at once. but the site is more functional than TU. on par with Experian.

all of these credit bureaus are scams, you move credit down based on bullshit, why have a credit card if using it destroys your credit, fn credit use cause credit to go down 100 pts.Its just a bullshit high interest game, all 3 can take a long dive off a short bridge. .

The phone ai does not work. It does not register most number inputs or spoken words. I spammed numbers to get a representative who said they couldn’t help me and gave me another number to call; I asked if this would lead me directly to an agent or would it be more AI because it took half an hour to get through to her. She said it would be an agent. It was not, it was the same AI routine again, glitchy and not working at all until I spammed numbers again. Tried online to freeze credit and it gave me a number and same issue with garbage AI that doesn’t work at all.

Unable to speak with agent. Receiving emails re: credit score drops, but there aren't any issues that I got confirmed by LifeLock. Other credit companies show accurate scores and reports. Equifax needs to get their crap together, or cancel their business!

equifax sucks. I have had login issues for approximately 2 weeks and I can't even check my credit reports. Someone tell me how the hell am I supposed to get anything accomplished. Even on the phone, the recording doesn't respond when I us or say something to the prompts. I will say that if I encountered the CEO of equifax, he would have a very bad day. Trust me. He's getting paid a lot of money for sitting on his ass instead helping consumers with their issues.

Would give no stars. My credit score, according to them, has plummeted for no apparent reason. All my payments are up to date, and my bank accounts are in credit. They are useless. I hope the regulatory body investigating them. I have deleted the app, as its a waste of time.

They don't deserve ANY STARS!! After what they put me thru today was a disaster. Had to call 4 times all together. All foreigners!! Couldn't understand them. Trump needs to get people handling our credit and hard earned money to know what they're doing. They're a joke! Trying to buy a car today. Thanks to them didn't get to buy it. Now it has to wait till Monday. Why? Because of they're IGNORANCE And poor service! Pissed off man. They cared more about selling something which I'm gonna cancel anyway! CFPB $15 Million Penalty (January 2025): The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) ordered Equifax to pay $15 million for failing to properly investigate consumer credit disputes.

It’s time to shut this inadequate credit reporting agency down! Please continue to look for current law suits in reference to the inadequate and illegal activity as they sell private information and request that consumers pay for their services if you want them to update credit information.

Time to create a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT Against EQUIFAX. There is nothing fair or trustworthy about this company. Everyone listed here has had a terrible experience with this company.

The worst of the three credit companies. Equifax does not update information unless you are a paying customer to the Equifax app.

This should be illegal to be responsible for consumers credit ratings based upon receiving payment or not.

The worst. Don’t trust these guys at Equifax - I called them to find out why they gave me a low rating.

I just paid off my balances on three credit cards and two personal loans that totaled $45,000.00. They dinged my credit for vbeing late on a high interest card which I was waiting for a pay off sum when I inquired.

Equifax (and all the credit bureaus) are just crooks protecting the CC companies. Dont' give them a dime, and stay away.

ZERO STARS if that was possible. My report shows outdated and incorrect information even after loans were closed long ago. Fixing anything is impossible.

A credit bureau should be accurate and reliable - this one was neither. Your credit score affects real life, and mistakes here cost people money and stress. Very disappointing!
