I was looking for a chair for my home office and have bought a few reasonably priced chairs from large online retailer's in the last year that end up being poor quality and just not supportive at all. I came across this store googling chairs for good posture and the website looked high quality and I loved the custom build aspect, which is what I ended up deciding on. The website had lots of information regarding choosing the different options and there's a huge choice of colours. My chair arrived sooner than expected, I was kept well informed during the order process, it was easy to put together and best of all super supportive exactly where I needed it to be, no more back pain and discomfort for me!!
I spend so much of my time in an office chair it's 100% worth it investing in an excellent high quality chair like the one I have received from this company. Very pleased.

Ergonomic Chairs Direct were brilliant from the start of the process to the end. Good advice, non pushy sales, an excellent product, arriving on time. What more would you want? I have a shoulder problem which has been really helped by using their chair. Well worth the money. Stylish too - I chose a lovely mustard colour which looks great in my study. I thoroughly recommend ECD - not the cheapest on the market, but excellent value for money.

More than delighted with my new chair. After many hours of research I decided on Ergonomic Chairs Direct and I am so pleased I did. The fact that the chairs can be tailor made to suit specific needs is very important. I found Karen's video very informative in helping to make my choice. Very easy to assemble, no tools required and gorgeous colours to choose from too !

Not a fan of ordering larger personalised products online, however being in pandemic options is limited. Ordering from Ergonomic chairs I was not disappointed, a very positive experience. This company is very much about the people and is willing to help to ensure the product ordered is right for the customer. I faced a few issues having received the chair; the co-owner Karen made it her priority to ensure that all was satisfactory with the chair and went above and beyond to ensure everything was what I needed and right for me. Being that I have back issues I faced difficulties putting it together and also wrongly connected some parts together. When purchasing the chair I had made assumptions about how the adjustable arms worked based on a past chairs form a different company, I had thought the arms could be pulled outwards to provide extra room for the hips, they did not work in this manner. Although the extra room could be achieved through being able to turn the armrest 360, it was not enough for me. Having informed the co-owner Karen of my difficulties she emphasised and offered to collect the parts to send another chair with a larger seat size all made for me. If you don’t have someone to help you I would strongly recommend asking for the chair to be made up before being sent out. Also to consider the seat size and your hip measurements, there are chairs with larger seats available with a couple of the models. I would advise anyone not to just order a chair, but to call and discuss your needs to prevent issues for a smoother transaction. Their customer service is outstanding; so much this is a company I would recommend to anyone looking for a quality product with a first-class service...

What a great company and chair!
Working on my PC from home I have suffered upper back, neck and shoulder pain using a less than ideal chair/desk set up.
Ergonomic Chairs Direct's web site enabled me to tailor the chair exactly to my body size and shape...and a quick telephone call to them for advice enabled me to finalise the specification before ordering.
A made to measure chair with multiple adjustments and all delivered in less than 2 weeks, great service....no more strain and pain!!

I am delighted with my chair. I have read the reviews of others I agree with all the superlatives to describe the experience. I am so pleased at last to have found a chair that is truly ergonomic.
A superbly designed product by Karen who based on experience has the knowledge and expertise to produce a chair to give all the support needed. Added to the thoughtful design is skilled engineering to produce a sturdily built chair.
Best of all, I think my chair, now it is fully adjusted, will educate me how to sit correctly so that I getting avoid back pain. This is worth a great deal more than the cost of the chair

Decided to order 3 new office chairs for my colleagues as all of us had been getting bad backs and were aware of bad posture. Karen was really helpful and the service was amazing. The chairs came promptly and are so comfy. We instantly noticed a difference! Cannot thank you all enough for saving us from bad back misery.

Ordered a chair for son who is having to currently having to complete university studies online. Wanted it to form part of a gift and time was tight. Company made sure it arrived in time, gave me endless advice on which chair to order based on height and weight. Fabric I chose is incredible pure wool. Very happy customer and an even happier son's back. No more "sitting down" pain. Now we need to order one for each family member. Definitely going to be doing this in the near future.

Amazing company who make amazing chairs. We spent weeks looking for the right chair, had a few boxes to tick, even tried 2 other companies first but neither worked out. The Elite chair is amazing, any queries were quickly dealt with by Karen and the team.

I spent many hours online searching for my ideal chair, their website was easy to navigate and I was able to specify a chair that exactly met my requirements. The few questions I had were promptly answered by Karen in sales who was very helpful. Although not low cost I decided to order, I was kept informed and the chair was delivered when promised.
I’m very happy with the comfort and quality of the chair, well worth the money I think.
The chair has many adjustable features and while it is easy to open the online instructions, these could be clearer. A video would have been ideal. I could have also called their support line, I’m sure they would have been helpful.

I am a Manager at Yorkshire Tea and due to Multiple Back Surgeries i require a Chiro Chair. I contacted Karen as i had seen a suitable Chair on their Website and Karen was a fantastic support to get me the right chair with all the things built into the chair that i required. I am really happy with my new chair and would recommend their services to anyone who would need specialist support in finding the correct solution for there needs.

It took me months to find a chair - I needed an ergonomic model but one that could uplift high enough for a kitchen counter. Ergonomic Chairs Direct was the only one that actually enabled me to add the higher gas uplift. Assembly was super easy and months into using it, I can say I no longer have the lower back pain. My husband and son both tried it and we all concluded that my new chair was more comfortable than my husband's official work chair and actually cheaper. I can very much recommend this company.

After spending hours (genuinely!) trying to find a chair that would fit my 5ft frame and hopefully solve my ongoing back issues, I was relieved when I spoke to Karen at Ergonomic Chairs Direct. She carefully listened to my requirements and concerns, and looked into what would suit me best.

The chair that I’ve bought fits me much better than any office chair I’ve sat in previously and it looks much more modern than most other ‘petite’ chairs out in the market. It’s also highly adjustable and very comfortable for a long working day!

I suffer with lower back issues such as a bulging disc and have never been able to find a chair that I am able to spend considerable time in without having to stretch throughout the day. I have a desk job and when lockdown 2.0 came into play I decided to invest in a good chair. After a while reading all the reviews on chairs I decided to go with Ergonomic Chairs as they seemed to cover all the vital necessities as well as being able to custom build your chair.
A couple months in and I cannot recommend this chair enough for people that spend hours and hours on a chair. The support on my lower back is perfect and the design makes you hold a great natural posture. I went for the Ergo Elite High Back and added the Inflatable Thoracic Support which has helped my slouching.

The website is really easy to use and I've been able to design chairs in colours that fit with my home decor (as opposed to the standard black/blue chairs offered everywhere else).
