Very helpful and considerate from start to finish. Some delay on vehicle but nothing too major. Kept informed throughout process. Friendly and approachable.

Excellent service at new car sales and parts

Ford Fiesta 2013 1.6 Auto Powershift. Avoid at all costs. These auto boxes are a KNOWN Ford issue and there have been successful class action lawsuits in America and Australia against Ford Motor Company. Ford UK have washed their hands of this problem and despite two repairs in a year, there is no recourse in any shape or form other than £4000 for a new gearbox after 50,000 miles. Despite initial promises of action from the Essex Auto Group Dunton Service Manager my subsequent emails (no responses) and phone calls (straight to voicemail) went unanswered. I shall never buy another Ford for myself or my company.

Took my Fiat 500 here to be serviced and will definitely use again. Price was very competitive and the overall experience was excellent. They even sent me a video of them checking the car over. In the past I've suspected other garages of claiming work needs doing when it doesn't i.e. brake pads, but I found Essex Auto Group to be very honest.

Paul Cooper has an excellent manner even when challenged by his customers. He is thorough and informative and keeps his customers in the loop at all times.

great place to buy your car, everyone keen to make sure your being dealt with, in particular my sales person, Andrew Lane, very patient with me as I was after a particular build and he eventually found the car I wanted. nothing was to much trouble. After sales service very good. 5 stars for all the staff.

Very BAD Service
Ordered A New Ford Transit Custom Sport, With 6 Seats.
When I went to pick it up, first they messed up the finance by using my accountants address NOT mine. And was told it would take some time to try and reapply for finance at my company address.
So to make things easier for them and so I could get the van earlier I paid for the van outright. NO finance.
A week later I go to collect the van and when I am shown the van it only has 5 seats.
When I told the dealer this is NOT what I ordered, he lied to me and said custom sports only come with 2 front seats. ( Funny that's there loads of them on auto trader with 3 front seats )
As I had all ready paid for the van I had no choice but to take it.
When I got the invoice and checked the invoice, the invoice dose NOT have my address, it has a finance companies address. A WEEK later and they still have not changed the invoice.
They said I can order 2 front seats BUT would have to pay extra for them.
SO they want me to pay for there mistake.

Take my advice never buy a vehicle from this company and by it outright.
If it was on finance I could of refused delivery and all I would of lost would be my £500 deposit.

NO HELP IF YOU BUY WITH OUT FINANCE

I get my car on motability ,it was a bit delayed this time through no fault of Essex Auto Group but Allan Keeble the motability specialist for Dunton kept me well informed as to what was happening and kept an eye on proceedings to make sure insurance etc. Was ok. I think Allan is a very good representative

Good communication, accomadating and friendly. In all honesty, it was a good experience. Derek Bruce was excellent throughout. Thank you
