I didn’t want to give a star but can’t write a review without one. EG garage M1 jcn 16. Fella switched my pump on and carried on filling shelves. I waited 10 minutes at the night pay window before he reappeared, he saw me but disappeared out the back, when he reappeared he went past the window and back to the shop area. I had to tap on the window, he looked over and carried on with the shelves. Eventually he came to the window, maybe 15 minutes after I’d filled up. He stared at me with hatred. He did not utter one word throughout. Rude, arrogant and ignorant. I will avoid this station at night in future.

Very Rude Staff of Euro Garage Hollinwood Oldham EG Group as an Asian employee at the till who is fraudster and lier as I put fuel in my car and make payment but I took Strusbuck coffee and coffee machine was out of milk didn't give me Coffee, this Asian guy at the Euro garage till was very rude and want charge me for the coffee which I didn't took but I have pay for my car fuel, that Fraud and Lier guy put my car number plate in watch list and report into system that I did not pay for the fuel and drive off, its disgusting and disappointing behaviour of EG euro Garage staff, the Management should look at it, and sack this kind of fraudster and lier employees.
Rubbish customer service.

Bought petrol from Fleet location, twice my card was ‘declined’ once for needing the card to be inserted not touch acceptable and then for a pin issue?
No financial reason, but 3rd time it was accepted. Returning my car, my phone showed 2 x transactions debited, so clearly one of the ‘declined’ had been processed.
Returned to show and explain to the cashier and requested a refund. Was told not possible and despite trying to explain that this had never happened anywhere else before, was continually shouted at to say it would be rectified in a few days as it was the banks fault. Living 80 miles away, definitely not happy about being told to call back and I asked if I had driven off with no payment what she would have done?
However, I was expected to accept a double charge and no refund and TRUST it would be rectified. Even spoke to supervisor on phone who said it does happen sometimes! Rang my bank who said definitely equipment error at retailer, not bank error. After 72 hours no adjustment e-mailed a complaint and despite 2 follow ups never have received a reply. Money did get re-credited after 5 days.
Attitude appalling, customer service beyond bad and was concerned if they, maybe the cashier, had found a way to get money from this process for their gain.
NEVER going to use again and suggest others think twice unless you want grief!

Where do I begin!
If you can at all avoid using the EG services at Podimore.
We had to go into it on the night of Friday October 20th on our way from Somerset to Dorset to change the nappy on our grandaughter.
We pulled into the car park around 19:00 and was immediately taken by how dark the car park was.
Due to the rain it was very impossible to see any road markings on the road as well as where the dividing physical islands were located.
We found a space, well we think it was, I got out of the car and walked around the back of the car only to plunge my foot into soaking wet mud.
I thought I was on the grass verge, but no I was on the tarmac, although completely covered in around 100mm or more of water and dirt.
It has ruined my pretty much brand new pair of shoes, however that wasn't the worst of it.
In order to not walk through lakes of water and mud in the car park, we decided to follow everyone else and walk on the slightly less wet grass verge areas.
While walking on one of these my wife slipped and badly hurt her hip, and this fall has now aggravated an old complaint that now requires surgery.
It was only through luck that she wasn't carrying our grandchild at that time.
When we got served I asked about tge awful state of the car park, through lack of any lighting and flooded car park.
One of the workers said that the management company EG, spend nothing on maintaining the public areas and that is despite many months of complaining to them.
So I have now a ruined pair of shoes as the light grey fabric isn't able to be cleaned.
Nut worse of all my wife is in immense pain and now on a waiting list for surgery.
If the lighting at least was working then we would have seen the dryest and safest places to cross.
The following day we popped into another one of the services run by EG on the A303/A358 at Illminster not by choice, we just didn't know who owned it, and saw the main reason at this car park as to why the other one was flooded. Completely blocked up road gullies, again we may have been able to see the flooded areas the previous night if we had some help with the aid of lighting!
Probably means tgat one also floods and, by process of deduction, hasn't got lighting working either.
So not only do they not bother to clean out the gullies, but they do not pay their electric bill as the street lighting just does not work.
Their total lack of care towards their customers is so obvious.
I suggest not going to these EG run services, if you know where they are that is.

Mark at the garage in Hexham has disgusting customer service skills. He was slamming tills and swearing under his breath all because I tried to buy some lunch and a coffee. This was because he said he had no change and eventually gave me the change I needed so I don’t understand why he would lie about not having change then gave me it anyways. This lad has a reputation of making these same mistakes! Completely out of order he should not be working in a place where he can upset the public spending there hard earned cash. Absolutely disgusting behaviour

Filthy toilets as is the case with just about every EG filling station I’ve visited. Obviously the people that oversee this business are totally disinterested in the comments on this site as nothing ever improves. Visit any Euro Garage outlet and be welcomed by dirty smelly filthy toilets swimming in urine with broken toilet seats and toilet paper strewn all over the floor. There are multiple food outlets at these sites, surely this is a health hazard. Be warned!

Tankstation Kruibeke (Anwerpen-Gent): heel vuile wc's die stinken. Er wordt gewoon niet gekuist. De WC bril is geel van de urine. In de meeste tankstations hangt er een evaluatieformulier. Hier niet. Ze weten wel waarom! 80ct betalen voor zoiets? Hier zou de overheid moeten tegen optreden!

I went into garage on Wrexham road 22/08/23 at 18.10pm the guy behind the counter was rude not a please thank you all he was interested in was gaming on his phone..Manners cost nothing.

The fuel "ASDA" not asda shop is bad enough with rip off prices, now I find from Greggs that as its a franchise they can charge what they like and do, if you fancy Greggs, check the prices at these ASDA on the move, they are not the same, will never use them again.

I took an 8-hour contracted job with EG group and did a one night training shift on the 15th of August. I was left to my own devices last night and had one person who refused to pay for fuel. I had to ring the supervisor who was verbally rude to me on the phone as I had not been left with the proper information to deal with this situation. I spent the next 8 hours on my own in quite a dangerous part of Seaham stressed out and my PTSD kicked in. I left this morning and rang the garage to apologize to the supervisor for having to ring him at 23.30 for him to be rude and dismissive to me on the phone. I have attended after a few hours of sleep to discuss this with the line manager and supervisor and feel this job is not only potentially dangerous for the little pay I am on a night shift but also because no proper training or procedures were left for me to deal with the situation I had last night. I intend to take this matter further regarding my poor treatment.

The morning staff are rude kameshia bring her kids to work Mendy stealing beer by taking it out in trash bags like it’s trash she also hired her boyfriend on same shift Judy ok for them to work the same shift the don’t clean drink machine it could be a better staff I know business have slowed down I know inventory must be short

Stopped at Willoughby services down the 303. Had problem with tyre pressures on hire car just picked up that morning. Didn’t know how to resolve the problem so asked for assistance. Steve came out and sorted it all for us. He was brilliant - efficient, pleasant, willing. Couldn’t have been more helpful.

Clydebank….The rudest man I have ever encountered works here. As I pointed out that the air machine was faulty he shouted me down, wouldn’t allow me to speak, told me it was my faulty valves…..I told him I was concerned about safety not my £1 but to no avail. So on he shouted … I told him to go away and was followed out of the garage by a torrent of abuse. P.S. I am a female pensioner.

THE MORNING STAFF MARY AND MALCOLM ARE AMAZING AND A PLEASURE TO SPEAK TO EVERY MORNING FOR MY USUAL COFFEE, THEY ARE BOTH ALWAYS HAPPY AND WELCOMING AND I LOVE COMING IN EACH DAY, A REAL PLEASURE NO MATTER THE DAY!!

Would have given a zero.

Went to the Hampermill lane station to wash my car. Spent £4 for 10 minutes. I rinsed the car and proceeded to use the foam wash. However the foam ran out, I went inside to notify the clerks. They filled up the foam and gave me £2 to continue my wash.

As I paid £4, and recieved only the initial rinse I expected the allocated time to be covered. They refused and said 5 minutes is enough and outright refused to give me the service I paid for.

Stupid argument but incompetent people who couldn't just do the right thing.

It's not the amount of money that's the problem, but profit making companies should provide the service they offer and take payment for.

Ignorant staff.

Presented my payment card and it was declined despite funds being in the account.
Paid with a second card and these clowns have taken the payment from both accounts.
Called them at least 40 times and got cut off each time as "There is no one available."

Left voice mails, completed an online form, sent an email ask without a response.
Luckily my bank can see both transactions and have raised a dispute and credited the money back to me.
Avoid this useless unprofessional outfit.

Try their number 01254 582111. I have pressed every option and the same thing happens after about ninety seconds. No one available so leave a message that we'll also ignore.

Shoddy.

At Starbucks, Blackburn Road, Rising Bridge I accidentally picked up the wrong ciabatta for heating up and it had meat on it. Beth very kindly let us have an alternative vegetarian option. Food was tasty, coffee was great. The store was clean and well organised with pleasant staff and comfortable seating.

I stopped at the Markham Vale garage to get diesel and some shopping. I’m a disabled lady and I was using my Rollator, when I passed my basket of shopping over to the guy at the till, as he was packing he asked if I’d like him to carry it to the car, I said I would be fine, as he was packing my second bag of shopping a lady came out of the staff area and she also asked if I would like help with my shopping.
Both of the employees were kind and polite. It was very nice of them to offer. People are quick enough to write a bad review, so I wanted to add a positive one.
Thank you from a grateful customer, I will be coming back to use the shop more often.

This company makes its employees work without breaks or toilet breaks. They have no lone worker policy “because they don’t sell alcohol”. A young woman told me today she was desperate to use the toilet because there was no one else to take responsibility. “ we are not allowed to take a break. I don’t finish work until 2200. It’s very stressful but they do not listen regardless of the stress for the people who work here.”
This is not the first time I have encountered employees under stress and whilst at times there are more staff on - why would a company that makes a fortune not choose to look after its employees with dignity and respect!
