Friendly staff and experienced mechanics. Recommend getting your car serviced at Evans Halshaw.

I had a car delivered and paid for a valet and paint protection and fabric protection. It arrived absolutely disgusting and with multiple electric faults. . . . I’ve been offered £35 to have it re valeted. Disgrace. I have loads of photos to show the condition the car arrived in.

They collect my car and return it. That means a lot to me. Lovely friendly folk and so helpful.

I had an outstanding experience with the service at Evans Halshaw Ford Wolverhampton. I was dealing with a serious coolant leak. Initially, I took my car to a third-party garage where the issue was misdiagnosed and incorrectly repaired, costing me £210. Unfortunately, the leak persisted after the repair, which left me anxious and in urgent need of a proper fix to avoid potential engine damage.

Although I was initially hesitant to go to a dealership due to concerns about higher costs, I could no longer risk further incorrect repairs. That’s when I contacted Evans Halshaw, and from the outset, Amy at the service centre was incredibly helpful. She arranged an urgent next-day appointment and assured me the issue would be diagnosed within the hour and she delivered on that promise.

The fault was identified as a leaking EGR oil cooler and hose. Amy acted as a clear and efficient point of contact between me and the mechanics, breaking down the technical details in a way that was easy to understand. While the repair was not cheap, it was necessary and, in fact, not significantly more than what I’d have paid elsewhere.

Amy also offered me a six month interest-free payment plan, and when I asked if there was any room to reduce the total cost, she said she’d see what she could do. In the end, a discount was applied, which made me feel genuinely valued as a customer.

When I came to collect my car, Amy greeted me warmly, had all the paperwork ready, and had even arranged for my car to be washed. She also organised a vehicle health check, which highlighted the need for a brake fluid change, something I really appreciated. The report also gave me helpful insights into future maintenance needs, which will help me plan both time and finances better.

The customer service I received was exceptional. Amy and every team member I interacted with at the dealership were approachable, empathetic, and professional. As a result of this experience, I’ve decided to book my next service here. I’d rather pay a little more for peace of mind and service I can truly trust.
