Bought a vehicle from them with defects which it turned out should have been fixed before being sold. Found out through an independent inspection. Contacted the dealer and they were great at sorting the repairs out, even down to a windscreen wiper.

Visited evans halshaw Sheffield to view a used citroen, a pleasant experience from start to finish ,we were shown round the car then left to view ourselves so no pressure, when ready a test drive was set up again on our own ,our trade in car was valued and a deal sorted dealing with salesmen Dawid Smieszek was a pleasure how car buying should be ,

I cannot believe for the SECOND TIME Penistone Road Sheffield has provided second rate service when looking to purchase a brand new car. 4 years ago I was offered a test drive in a car that was being used by clearly an over zealous gym bunny. The car had used gym clothes on the back seat and was stinking of sweat - so I declined the test drive and left. No customer deserves to be put through that.
This time I had booked a test drive at 2pm. Despite being on time the agent I had been booked in with was nowhere to be seen. The staff in the building were too busy chatting amongst themselves. When I remonstrated I got a weak apology then he walked off. When I left the building they managed to find somebody to scurry after me - by which time it was too late. There was no way I was going to spend any more my time or money with Evans Halshaw. The company won’t get a third chance to let me down again.

After an initially confusing start as my Citroen Ami had been recalled and they didn't think they could look after it, they took it under their wing and did a great job. Friendly, helpful and enthusiastic staff. Even came back cleaner!

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!

On collection we were rushed through the purchase process, Connor usually sat back in his seat with no care in the world.

Day 1 - rear tail light faulty, filled with water. Took several days to fix.

1 Month Later - they untaxed my car and messed the V5 registration up. Chaos when you receive a letter from the DVLA saying the car had been untaxed and I was no longer the owner, not good. I chased Connor and management for more than 1 week before anyone bothered to respond!

2 Months Later - starter motor and dip limeter broke. There has been a total lack of help, direction and support. Even in one case the service manager telling me he forgot to email because he had left it in his drafts, like seriously. They want me to transport the car to a garage for it to be diagnosed and fixed, of which they are trying their hardest not to pay for. I have gone back with a letter confirming my consumer rights ... you guessed it... total silence! Still no result and I have a car that cannot be used.

The car is a 19 plate Mercedes and I have only had it for 2 months!

Disgraceful service, please avoid!
