Used to get a good service here but since covid it's done downhill.

No spaces available to park in bays when arrived despite booking. Don't appreciate staff laughing at this like it isn't the company's fault.

Name wrong on all documents again (come on this isnt hard to get right).

Booking email didn't come through (wasn't in junk or spam).

Cleaning car service as part of MOT was done poorly.

Booked valuation for 5pm but seemed nobody was available.

Only person that came across as professional was Ben who was very helpful.

Overall it doesn't bode well, I don't think I'll be using them again.

Great Service and MOT delivered professionally as agreed.

Decent price and could drive away in a few hours. Customer service was helpful. Altrincham has on site body shop which is useful for fixing small blemishes quickly.

Staff were helpful and kept me uptodate with prgess

The staff are great they are knowledgeable personable friendly and know about all best deals

Booked for oil air fuel filter service only did oil booked for MOT this failed on 2 items one was daytime running light not working the next day it was said to not be a failure so misleading and incompetent

Everything explained in detail by sales person,then showed me all the refinements in the car

Just all round a great experience. Picked out the car on-line, but due to work commitments I found it very difficult to make it to the showroom. I rang them up and got a run down of the car, got a personalised virtual tour of the car and arranged for it to be delivered to my home. Probably not as much of an experience as going in person but it was best option for me and still felt I was engaged with the the staff.

Great service - surely 'great service ' sums it up. Collection and return service guy was very courteous

The really good attention from the sales staff especially Obi who is very efficient and great fun. He made the whole experience easy and was a great help.

Kept informed about delivery etc and friendly service

I viewed a car that l had seen on the website and was approached by Terence Lee. He was extremely helpful and guided me through all the necessary procedures to purchase the Nissan Note that l was interested in and arranged a good part exchange price for my old Nissan.
I would recommend anyone to ask for his help in purchasing their new vehicle at Evans Halshaw in Altrincham..

Was helpful until money handed over, 8 months went by and I developed an oil leak, local FORD dealer (not any garage) has advised that this was as a result of the service done by Evan Halshaw (overtightened oil filter failed). Now they're refusing to own up any sort of responsibility or dig deeper, now been left to cough up the cost to fix the oil leak and other issues caused as a result of it. Absolutely no attempt to work with me just basically got a 'no can't help you'. Would recommend avoiding at all costs.

Very bad experience. Bought my car in Evan Halshaw one year ago. I booked their MOT and services around a month before my MOT expired. They just left a message on my voice message three weeks later. Said no space for you. Your booking is cancelled and don't come. Then I only have few days to to find another MOT service. And two month later, they just called we can do your service tomorrow. I told the lady the fact and said I don't need it now and the lady just hang up. Horrible experience. Best employer for hiring such lady. I'll never buy any cars and do service from Evan Halshaw.

bought a car from Altrincham branch, within 1 week of buying it the breaks were squeaking, was told I had to wear them in and once driven over 100 miles it would be fine, but I had already driven 300 miles down south and back, so that was the first lie they told me.
The car then went in for a service, they told me it was fixed, then started squeaking again, so I took it back, they then took 3 weeks to order new break pads for it, told me they had been replaced, its still squeaking, absolute liars, then the mud guard fell off whilst driving, this isn't a massive deal, but was still an inconvenience. I then was driving with my young children in the car a month ago, and the clutch stopped working, it just stayed down, which was both scary and dangerous, I called the garage and they told me that my warranty was now expired, and I should expect this from a car built in 2016!!! but i had only owned for 7 months! then I was told that they would book me in to get it serviced, but after trying 3 or 4 times to contact them, I gave up and paid a local garage to do it instead. they sold me a shoddy car, and then wiped their hands clean of me once my warranty was expired. they're a disgusting company. stay clear of them.
