Recently bought my car from here. From start to finish it a flawless journey. Everything was explained in detail. Big thank you to Mike and Stefan for sorting the whole process for me!

I visited the hull branch.
The car was dirty with general dirt/food and dog hair.
I had expected it to be clean like most dealers.
However the sales person was excellent he came out in the rain and opened the car.
after a short wait I had a test drive the car drove well, so i decided I wanted the car.
just needed a fair part exchange price like others offered Auto trader prices.

I was shocked by the ridiculously very low price he came back with.
I could tell he wasn't happy with well under market price they offered.
It was as obvious as he said what he’d been told to say, a load of bull.
£800 LESS THAN AUTO TRADER.
WOW.
Even RIGTHCAR offered market value.
needless to say I thanked sales person for his help, but politely left.
You have lost a sale today.
And should have fully valeted all cars on sale.
Yes I looked at others shocking.
Disgusted and shocked what a waste of time.
pay market price and pass on to independent traders
Instead of failing to con a genuine cash customer of a lost sale of £11500.

Purchased a 2018 Ford Mondeo online. The initial purchase went well. When the car was delivered there were some minor issues.
Both keys required new batteries (this is alarmed on the dash)
There was less than 1 gallon of fuel in the car (I didn't expect it full, but less than + gallon)
There were no car mats. There is no ware on the carpet, therefore there was car mats at one time, possibly EH considered these mats were worn and removed them, but did not replace them.
The 3 items above were obvious to EH but nothing was done. When these issues were pointed out, the EH response was "Sorry to read your email" and "its difficult to get it right every time" there was no apology. EH did offer to pay for battery replacement and car mats, as long as they were not Ford car mats (too expensive apparently).
In general I am happy with the car, but be aware of EH's penny pinching attitude.

I have just purchased a new car from Evans Halshaw, the gent that dealt with us was called Ash he was brilliant. He went above and beyond to get us the car. He was so pleasant and polite. He felt like family by the time we got the car. It was a pleasure to meet him.

Had my72 plate ford raptor recovered into Ford hull nearly 5 weeks ago still apparently waiting on parts try calling for an update but no one answers the phones. A bit of communication wouldn’t go amiss not happy at all with way it’s been dealt with

Not impressed, picked up a new car on 7th of this month after waiting months, and then weeks of ignored phone calls, set off home to find not nearly enough fuel to get home and tyre warning light on, on 12th noticed 2 chips on paintwork on bonnet near windscreen not noticible from above, again been trying to contact sales and being told they would call back still no call after sales stinks.

Fantastic service as always. Excellent experience and would definitely recommend. Ibrahim Shahzad looked after me very well.

Unfortunately my car failed its MOT today, however, I sat with Nik, told him my budget and we got going, managed to get a nice upgrade from my previous car and drive home the same day, amazing service and was very patient with myself as I kept changing my mind

Made an appointment Monday and sold my car on Tuesday. All strightforward with no problems. The agreed price was within a few hundred of the online estimate and seemed fair as there were some stone chips and a scuffed alloy. The agreed price was £1000 more than the WBAC on line estimate (which could only go down further had I gone there). I was well looked after by Ibrahim in the Hull branch who made the whole thing easy and straightforward. Thank you Ibrahim. I would recommend Evans Halshaw and will be going there next time I want to sell a car

Unable to give 0 stars but 1 seems overly generous.
Booked car in for diagnostics check after warning light appeared on dashboard. Test advised new catalytic converter required at approx £1500. Disappointed but booked car in for 2/5/24 for fitting. Took car in but part was not available. Rebooked for 16/5/24 but still not available. Same thing happened after rebookings of 30/5 and 13/6. When next rebooking came round at beginning of July was promised part would be there on 28/7. Checked on 29/7 and was advised part was 2 months away. As this was later than my MOT I asked to speak to manager discuss alternative action.but advised nothing could be done and management would not discuss.
Decided to check elsewhere for help so man at local garage had a look and found nothing wrong with catalytic converter but that some pipes had not been re-attached correctly after a previous repair, (Also done at Evans Halmshaw.) and this was causing a distorted reading on test. Within literally less than 5 mts he had identified and rectified the problem. Then ran a diagnostic check to make sure all was OK.
I suppose in retrospect I should be pleased that the parts supply team were so poor and that the part never arrived or I would have spant £1500 unnecessarily and still had the same problem. Diagnostics team poor, failed to identify problem correctly, parts team poor, unable to source part, management poor, failing to support staff and discuss with customer.
Will not be visiting Evans Halmshaw again.
