Flawless and hassle free process. I got close to the price that was offered to me on line and was happy with the offer. Abid was very helpful and made the process easy and simple, my money was in my account two days after selling my car. Would definitely use again.

When selling my mothers car, Evans Halshall offered a more competitive price than motorway, webuyanycar, Cazoo etc. However, that was only half the story. The personal service provided by Ashton Under Lyne branch was exceptional during the entire selling process, particularly due to issues surrounding my mothers health. Abid in particular pulled out all the stops from beginning to end from my initial calls on Tuesday morning to the agreed figure reaching my mothers bank account by the Friday. Fantastic service throughout and I would make Evans Halshall my first port of call in future. Abid made the entire experience so flexible and painless for me and my mother which we both appreciated immensely. THANK YOU.

This review relates to the Sales Department at Evans Halshaw, Ashton.
We are extremely unhappy with the way we were dealt with by the Sales Manager. Having had an appointment and spending a considerable amount of time test driving and ordering a new car we were sold the wrong specification vehicle. Only later that day, when checking over the paperwork we found that we had been sold a vehicle with a smaller brake horsepower engine than we had specified.
The Salesman admitted his mistake and apologised. We accepted his apology and waited for the correct vehicle to be found. Having kept our deposit no contact was made until we spoke with the Sales Manager. He blamed us for the mistake and told us we shouldn’t have had a test drive in the wrong specification vehicle! We had no idea we had been taken for a test drive in the wrong vehicle. He also refused to accept that he had charged us the price of the vehicle we wanted(higher brake horsepower) rather than the lower price of the vehicle they were supplying.
The Sales Manager was rude and unprofessional and refused to listen. In view of his behaviour we cancelled our order and asked for our deposit to be returned.

We will not deal with the Sales Department at this dealership again.

First time purchasing a car under PCP. Jack was really helpful and patient making sure all my queries were answered and made the whole process really easy and seamless! He made sure everything was perfect with the car before he sorted Home Delivery!

Customer service is there main priority here and it really shows in everything they say and do.

Use these for a really good experience. Nice people. Seem honest with pricing. Offered the most for our car from a lot of companies we checked.

If I could put 0 stars I would!!! Service has been shocking by any standards. Booked in for MOT on Saturday to receive a text to say needed over £1200 work. Let’s break this down

Ok so fair enough failed on a tyre and needed break discs and pads can accept wear and tear.

Air con replacement recommendation for year 3 on health check which they carried out the year before on the day we bought the car and was not on the advisory as needing replacement. However in year 4, although recommended in year 3 was put on our bill. Ford only recommendations but never carried out by them prior to sale. !!

Bill re- reviewed now £660 - even the window wiper was removed haha !!

As we had not been advised to bring in for a health check prior, which was andvised by the services team anfter we picked the car up, and it has now failed the MOT we could not now drive the car. They had to order the tyre which was going to take a few days and no courtesy car available. Had to arrange work travel. We Contacted them Monday and was told it would be ready for 5pm to arrange to leave work to then receive a call at 4.50pm, whilst we were on our way, to say it hadn’t even been looked at.

Picked the car up Tuesday to find the tyre was a cheaper and completely different tyre to the other 3 sports tyres on the car and if we want the same tyre we would have to pay the difference as they only use like for like. No explanation around this and still waiting for manager to ring me back from yesterday. Clearly some
Safety issues here as it’s never recommended to use different tyre.

When sold the car last year was advised to purchase addition guarantee, tyre cover, scratch cover and made promises that this car would cost us nothing with all the cover to find out we couldn’t use any of it and had to use ford for service and MOT or all the guarantees would be void. This has cost an extra £55 a month which has been nothing but a joke.

Absolutely disgusted by how they continue to try and rip off customers. In the process of discussing from a legal perspective with solicitors as there is no
Way I am putting my daughter’s safety at risk and raising with trading standards for mis-sold services.

Looking at reviews it is clear they give the same answer for all
Reviews and nothing ever changes in terms of training and customer care.

As a business manager myself this is not the service I would offer clients.

The stress for what we pay I would not be using ford again.

I have a service plan for my car.
Last year it was serviced and mot tested but required brake discs and pads to the front as well as the air-conditioning servicing at extra cost.

This year the car was serviced and mot tested, again. Passed the mot but required rear brakes and pads and additionally the break fluid replacing due to water contamination.

On a car with 27000 miles I am dismayed that the discs failing so quickly. I was astonishing that the air conditioning wasn't part of the service last year but this year I find out the break fluid isn't part of the service.

This is wholly unacceptable, a money grabbing exercise and something that I feel is reasonable to assume would be included as part of a service.

I have an mot certificate saying it is safe to drive on that day, but recommendation that I spend another £500 to make it safer.

After dealing with VW dealers in the past and Suzuki this was never an issue. What needed servicing to make the car go, be efficient and safe and other equipment was serviced excluding perishable parts. Fluids, gas, oils, screen wash belts, was never part of any post service conversation.

Is this only Ashton or is it part of Ford's money making scheme that is impacting the reliability of Ford motor vehicles in the UK.

I am seriously considering offloading my Ford, the eco boost engines as I read more horror stories online at premature expensive engine failures.

Disgusting service, dismissive attitude by the dealer and a background of expensive unreliability where Ford is concerned.

Ford need to do better!
