Sym Sadler was excellent as usual

Purchased a Genesis GV80, quick to do sale but after purchase appalling after sales service - 5 months later still awaiting spare key. No answers to emails

Terrible experience dealing with a car with multiple faults. After 3.5 weeks of chasing it eventually was handed back. This time with a new fault that the garage couldn’t spare someone 5 minutes to check but instead asked me to wait on a Saturday morning until someone came free. Better to inconvenience me than anyone at the garage it appears. As a side note I’ve asked the leasing company if o can return the car as third fault on the same battery unit in 18 months two of which led to highly dangerous driving situations and compensation being paid to us.

Awful customer care with terrible communication from service. Put me off getting another Hyundai

I had the car serviced at Evans Halshaw Leeds again this year. Always a friendly face at reception, everything explained and all done on time.

We bought car from Evans halshaw we had issue with break from 2nd day it taken 10 weeks to date issue still not resolved this company is joke the customer aftercare is disappointing

So this is my second post now. I bought my car in April and still waiting for the money i'm owed from the trade in price I was offered to the settlement figure which was lower. Countless times we've tried to get this back with no prevail and keep being fobbed off or ignored including a phone call and email sent just yesterday with no reply.

After my last review I was replied to by EH head office on here asking me to contact them with all details which I did MONTHS AGO and guess what...NO REPLY!

I have all the supporting documentation which I've emailed countless times to the dealership (My invoice which shows the trade in offer for my old car plus the settlement figure which was lower than what EH has offered me as trade in value so therefore I'm owed the difference right? Why is that so hard to process???

I'm going to be contacting the ombudsman now as EH don't care and simply think ignoring this will make it magically disappear! Well i'm telling you it won't!

I recently brought my Hyundai in for a manufacturer recall repair at Evans Halshaw, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the level of service I received. After a thorough inspection, the team not only addressed the recall issue but also identified and fixed several other faults and errors that could have become serious problems down the line.

They went above and beyond by changing my tires and replacing both side mirrors, ensuring the car was fully roadworthy and safe. The communication was clear throughout the process, and I felt informed and valued as a customer.

Repair done efficiently and kept informed

Had my car in for service and mot in February. Informed on collection that the air con wasn't working. Although it had been fine beforehand. OK, when can I book it in. March, it went in. Trusting this issue was fixed. No air-conditioning. When can I book it,
not until June. I made the
appointment, being told there was £150 charge to check. As I had a holiday and the weather was hot, went elsewhere. Phoned and asked if the appointment could be for tyre and brake check as these were minors on the mot and to cancel air-conditioning. Today i went in, they said oh yes air-conditioning, no, brakes and tyres. OK, that should be fine. On collection I'm told, your air-conditioning is fine. What about the brakes I asked for, they then flat out refused that I had asked for this. Frustration and a wasted day for me. Not even an apology from them. Thankfully no £150 charge. Although i like the Hyundai the after care by Evans Halshaw is far short of expectation. As I expect to look at changing my car, the reviews of after care will be a consideration to which car i buy.
