Absolutely amazing customer service, Linda did amazing, not only did she explain everything really well and answered all and any questions i had really well, when i rang up saying i was going to be late because of a missed train, she assured me it was alright and waited for me to get there. Would recommend my friends and family to go.

There was an issue with the used car I purchased from this garage. I made contact with the manager, Danyal and he sorted this out quickly and efficiently. He kept in contact and he was very flexible when organising my visit to get the issue resolved. I found Danyal to be a very good communicator. He was friendly, accommodating and very helpful. He had a very calm persona and he also has a can do attitude. What more could you ask for! Thank you Danyal. :)

Extremely disappointing customer service after a fault within the first 30 days

We purchased a Corsa from Evans Halshaw Kia Stourbridge and, within the first 30 days, the vehicle developed an oil leak requiring recovery.

We were subsequently advised in writing by the dealership that the cause was a faulty sump plug washer which had been fitted during Evans Halshaw’s own vehicle preparation.

Following the repair, we requested a modest goodwill gesture in the form of an extended warranty, given the circumstances and the understandable loss of confidence in the vehicle. We were advised that this had been escalated to the Head of Business.

The problem has subsequently become the customer service rather than simply the original fault.

We have repeatedly followed up by email and have always made it clear that email is our preferred and required method of communication. We have never asked to be contacted by telephone. Despite this, we have repeatedly been told that the dealership management would contact us, only for no contact to materialise.

We raised a formal complaint and were told we would be contacted within 48 hours. That did not happen.

Customer Care subsequently intervened on several occasions, apologising for the lack of contact and assuring us that the dealership management had been asked to respond as a priority. Most recently, on 30 July, we were specifically told that the matter had been raised directly with the Head of Business for priority review and that all communication would be made by email in accordance with our stated preference.

As of 7 August, we have still received absolutely no communication from the dealership or its management.

We have been patient and courteous throughout. What we find completely unacceptable is being repeatedly told that the matter is being escalated and that we will be contacted, only for nothing to happen.

The situation has now become so unacceptable that, having exhausted the dealership and Customer Care routes, we have felt compelled to escalate the matter further to Gary Armstrong, Managing Director of Evans Halshaw, in the hope that someone at senior level will finally take ownership of the complaint.

We purchased the vehicle in good faith and expected considerably better communication and customer service from a major automotive retailer. We hope that someone senior will now provide the response that we have been waiting for.

We took our car in for a MOT then took it back to have our breaks changed. Ryan who dealt with us was very professional and his customer service was excellent. He dealt with all our enquiries in a timely manner.

Friendly, helpful staff. One young lady(Lauren? from service department) helped me with problems with satnav issues.

My car went it with no issues other than routine maintenance and a work under the warranty. It came our with a dead 12 volt battery which cut the next time I wanted to start the car. When I received my car, my wing mirror didn't pop out and my smart tailgate doesn't work anymore, I put it down as resetting required but not realising it's an indication that the 12 volt battery has been drained. They didn't mention it and I had to call RAC rescue and that cost me a battery replacement at the cost of £279+ . I have the receipt and paper work from RAC to prove it. A duty of care should be shown to ur customers and their vehicles. This dealership failed me woefully.

Great service, would definitely recommend buying used cars from here. Linda was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. There was no pressure to purchase a vehicle or add ons.

Very smooth & no hard sell for products, both visits were great, Alex the salesperson was great to deal with, we talked about extras but when I decided not to go ahead with them, he say all good & continued with the sale. Other dealerships could learn from this. Car was ready on 2nd visit, went thru paperwork without any stalling(apart from me but sorted quickly) & brought the car. I was very pleased with whole experience & would recommend Alex & dealership for anyone.

I bought a car from evans halshaw in June I was waiting for my logbook to come after 6 weeks it hadn't arrived I phoned the dvla they hadn't any record of it so I had to fill in a v62 form and send £25 I'm disappointed with evans halshaw for not doing it

The sales person Linda Collins was professional and honest she answered all my questions. There was no pressure to purchase a vehicle or add ons. The car i purchased was as described and the work required was carried out by the technicians. I would recommend using this dealer. pw
