A Highly Professional and Friendly Service!

Mohammed Mollik at the Mansfield site was helpful, patient and professional when I purchased my car today.

The mechanic was very helpful and friendly. He provided an excellent service.

The sales rep Scott lied to me about the 2L kia Sportage AWD BT66 LXV, did an over email sale without explaining any problems. Told me it was serviced and had no problems...

Cameras not working dpf system clogged exhaust system needed attention no new oil, no new air filter passenger sensor alarm going off when no one was sitting in the seat
No new tyres ( included nails came in the price of the vehicle) congealed oil that was thick and gunky and the turbo didn't work.

And then the cars engine seized up and won't crank when I was leaving home after a 13 hour shift.

Evans halshaw Mansfield told me I had no rite to reject the vehicle the sales rep was Scott he told me that directly when I called them up to tell them some more problems I had come across. They broke their own contract of 14 days return without questions. And the 30 day consumer rites act.

Because of the lies and disgusting sales strategies and apparently un trained staff in the law of contracts.

All in all Stressful and damaging service to me and my bank account and my piece of mind. All they care about is the commission, I believe they would sell a vehicle that was dangerous and wouldn't care about the consequences.

Fitting wrong/ faulty parts making the car unsafe for me and my family,

I purchased a used car from the Peugeot Mansfield branch earlier this year and upon inspection noticed a defect in the car. I obtained something in writing to confirm Evans Halshaw would rectify this at no cost to myself. Despite months of calls and emails I have not received any response when I try to sort out the issue. Terrible customer service - I would not use or recommend again.

Service advisor was great

Jason informed me throughout from booking in to repairs and sorting everything out thank you. My only downside was that under my warranty it said I could get a courtesy car and when I want I was told they had none until September.

After repair testing by technician involved would have given the opportunity to negotiate ongoing repair without the discovery of ongoing fault whilst in the middle of hometime traffic conditions, thus causing further unease to the driver.
Road test after work carried out would have eliminated this disappointment,

Sorted out a bad oil leak on my ford kuga st, had the car for 2 days and repairs done ready for my holiday, thanks for a speedy job.

Disappointed and Shocked by the Service

I was incredibly disappointed by the level of service received from this dealership, especially considering its size and reputation.

I viewed a vehicle and agreed to purchase it. Although there were a few issues, I was assured by Tim that they would be sorted prior to collection—including replacing the damaged footwell carpet and repairing scratches on the bodywork. We allowed five days for the vehicle to be prepared.

Before arriving, I phoned to confirm everything was ready. Tim assured us the work had been completed and asked us to arrive at 9:30 AM due to a scheduled meeting. However, when we showed up, Tim wasn’t even working that day—it was his day off. The car was filthy, still had food wrappers inside, and even a McDonald’s fry left behind. It had additional scratches that weren’t present before, a new dent, and the carpet “repair” was a poor attempt—spray-painted rather than replaced.

We were promised the car would be addressed and ready to collect the following afternoon. When no one contacted us, we decided to cancel the purchase. Instead, we went to Vertu Motors, where we purchased the same model car (same year, fewer miles, better condition) for £1,800 less. The team there cleaned the car, touched up the paintwork, added a scent bomb, and even applied Diamond Brite—all within four hours. We drove away the same day.

What surprised me most was the lack of clarity around the Smart Cover. Tim failed to explain the inclusions and exclusions properly and implied certain repairs would be covered when they actually weren’t. For example, we were told scratches visible at collection would have to be claimed through the Smart Cover after purchase—despite them being pre-existing.

Overall, I would advise others to steer clear.
