Staff very helpful free hot drinks which was a nice touch

As always efficient friendly service delivered on time and kept up to date on progress. This year went over and above in noticing the recent service plan set remotely wasnt my best option. A revised service plan was explained clearly with better options and extended by another year was set up painlessly and a credit to the staff at Sloper Rd despite being busy putting the customer first

I am very satisfied with the Service. I had all the Service and MOT done on my car, apart from updating all my annual services with Evans Halshaw.

Service completed promptly and to schedule and car cleaned inside and out.

The service staff are always pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. I have no complaints.

In relation to my complaint below dated 6th October, I thought I would give an update with some possibly unknown information. Please view my complaint below to see what has taken place. Anyway I lodged a complaint against the dealership which apparently was dealt with and went against us. During the update in relation to our complaint it was divulged that ANY complaint about a dealership is actually dealt with by people working at that dealership. So basically if you lodge a complaint, then the chance of it being dealt with in a fair and unbiased manner is slim to none. I bet people reading this are not aware of this. HOW CAN THIS BE RIGHT. I say again that Vauxhall and Vauxhall dealerships are aware of problems with their diesel vehicles and this information is not being passed on to customers. This is part of an email I received directly from Vauxhall themselves – ‘This technology monitors the degradation of oil quality such as the build up of soot which can be exacerbated by arduous use such as frequent start / stop short journeys, frequent high speed use and towing of a trailer.’. So basically if you live in a large town or city where there are a lot of traffic jams, traffic lights, stop/start traffic, use the vehicle for deliveries or travel a lot on motorways then you can potentially expect unforeseen problems and excessive cost of servicing during the time you use the vehicle. Our business does about 10 deliveries on average a day and our problems are ongoing. I have made contact with friends and business contacts around the country and passed them the information that I have and so far have cost them the sale of four commercial vehicles that I know of, 3 for the Cardiff dealership and 1 from another dealership, and told them to pass the information on to people they know. If YOU know of anyone looking to buy a Vauxhall van tell them to look at my reviews before they do. I am also waiting for a data request from Vauxhall which apparently they need 2 MONTHS to complete before taking the matter further. I will say again, DO NOT BUY VAUXHALL DIESEL VEHICLES and do not trust the CARDIFF DEALERSHIP as they withhold important information about a KNOWN fault which will at the end of the day cost you more money and hassle, and if you complain you won’t get anywhere as your complaint is reviewed by work buddies at the dealership.

I bought my new car with Katie yesterday and I’m so pleased with it. From the minute we got in she made us feel comfortable (offering refreshments etc) the whole process was quick and easy and she explained everything about the car without being too pushy! Thankyou!

Purchased a nearly new Ford Explorer (24 Plate) from Cardiff Branch and found out later the car had been involved in a collision with rear panel damage and poorly repaired. Vehicle was returned for a proper repair (400 mile round trip) but vehicle was returned with no improvement to original botch job with paint runs and overspray on arch panels and bumper. Complaint raised as per their online tool. No response has been received after over a month despite many emails to their Help email. Very poor Company don't buy their vehicles !!

Update (17Nov2025) - Head of Business has not contacted me, nor has James Bannister (Manager of Cardiff Branch). Shocking Complaints process.

Excellent service from katie, we walked in without an appointment katie was friendly and appriachable, she showed us the car but unfortunately it was too late to test drive it, so came back next day to test drive it, again katie talked ua through everything and we returned the next day to buy the car. All the staff were friendly whilst we waited they offered us refreshments and couldnt do enough for us. Even after buying the car the aftersales has been amazing. Everything was explained to us and talked through all the extras at no point were we pressured into buying anything. Excellent service all round i will def be returning when i buy my next car.

Really excellent service by Katie who wasn’t pushy but guided me throughout the whole process. She even met me off the train to pick up the car today, having viewed it a week ago.

I got my car directly through this dealership. I have had damage to the vehicle caused by rodents and when my insurance company contacted them to book it in for repair they have refused. This is very strange and I will be making a complaint directly to Vauxhall.

Efficient quick service given a good deal saved me money. The staff were good locked after me when I waited.
Very good service overall.

I bought a Citroen C3 today, Katie has looked after me from the first enquiry (a few days ago) to the purchase. Katie made everything so easy and straight forward, and explained every step to me. The car is beautiful and was really well priced. I am delighted with the purchase. I part exchanged my car which was handled really well. Katie went over and beyond to support me. Katie’s customer service and care was superb from start to finish. I would highly recommend Katie to anybody for her honesty and no fuss approach. There was no hard sale and nothing forced or pushed onto me. I could take my time at every stage whilst being fully supported.
