After slight confusion about the service appointment time, all went like clockwork, excellent service from start to finish, ably managed by Louise on the service desk who couldn’t have been more helpful.

I’ve been left genuinely frustrated and extremely disappointed with this dealership. The sales process was smooth and efficient, no issues when it came to taking my money. But the moment I cancelled and requested my deposit back, everything changed.

It’s been more than two weeks since the cancellation, and I’ve had to constantly chase them for answers. I’ve been passed around, given conflicting updates, and promised the refund was being “prioritised” multiple times, with nothing to show for it. The level of disorganisation has been shocking, and it’s clear that once the sale fell through, I was no longer treated with the same urgency.

This kind of delay and lack of communication is unacceptable from any business, let alone a well-established dealership. It’s been stressful, time wasting, and completely avoidable.

To be fair, a few staff members have tried to help, and I appreciate their efforts. But that doesn’t make up for the poor overall experience and the lack of accountability from the dealership as a whole.

I’m currently in the market for a new car, but after this experience, I’ll definitely be buying it elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership.

My car was booked in for a recall. I waited whilst the work was being done on the car. The waiting area had everything you could possibly need. Staff very friendly and efficient and work was done in 1.5 hours. Very happy with service 🙂

Great service from Robert, very helpful, met all my needs and changes i wanted with my first car and made sure they were done to a very high standard as well as making sure buying my first car was an enjoyable experience. Overall great customer service and would highly recommend.

Bought a car from Richard in Falkirk who was excellent. Had a small issue with the engine and I attempted to visit the Edinburgh branch. Emma from Falkirk was outstanding and very professional at all times. We drove 25 miles from Edinburgh to Falkirk and the issue was resolved immediately. I can not praise the team at Falkirk highly enough for their prompt care & customer service best quality. I have spoken to family & friends some of whom have confirmed that they too have had "attitude" problems with Edinburgh branch.
The attitude and customer service from the staff at the Edinburgh branch was terrible. I was totally shocked at their attitude and advice of "take the car to ANOTHER GARAGE" not Evans Halshaw I would not even give them 1 star and certainly NEVER use or call that branch ever again. Complete waste of everybody's time.

I have had my car for three years now, in this time I have had my car serviced 3 times, and my first MOT. On each visit the staff have been so friendly, and they have kept me up to date with the progress of my car. I have always felt valued when I have visited the Falkirk branch, which has further cemented my confidence in buying from them. I visited yesterday for my MOT, and enquired about changing my car, there was no hard sell or pushiness to make me pay more, in fact they advised me to wait a little longer until my car had gained more equity, and they could seek to get me a better deal. This is why I will never buy a car from anywhere else, Evans Halshaw in Falkirk is stuck with me!

Had my car mot'd here recently, told me it needed work done, waited afew days for parts but was kept informed with progress, when i collected it staff were friendly and helpful.

My car got a service an MOT late last year which failed and needed a lot work. You aren’t a cheap garage.

I’ve had an accident with my car and damaged my front tyre from a pot hole. Tyre needs replaced and I’m searching for my nuts and bolts. Not in my car. Checked everywhere. I phoned you guys up and you are taking zero responsibility. I didn’t appreciate the ladies tone on the phone and more or less saying I’ve lost them! Tell me why would I take this in the house? Always in the car. But as soon as I need them they are no where 😡 You arent putting the money out to give me replacements when you haven’t returned the items to my car.

Will NEVER be dealing with this garage ever again. This is a warning to others. Please AVOID!

Take no pleasure in doing this but I cannot believe a call with Emma this morning. My car was fixed at Falkirk - oil leak and was informed it was timing belt cover. Same thing is happening 2 months later. Phoned to explain not fixed - and was informed couldn’t be seen till April at earliest / quite happy to leave me with problem and probably no car for a month. Absolutely shocking. They call this customer care ! Surely the fact I have been to you to get fixed - paid you I deserve to have issue looked at as quite apparent you haven’t fixed. I know I’m just a number but this is basic customer service - or in this case a lack off ! Actually very embarrassing for Evan’s Halshaw but very annoying for a customer !

Ps I would say when work was carried out initially Jim on your service desk was so helpful - complete opposite today -

Excellent service

Had to take car for a recall issue, from service on the phone to the lovely lady at the service department it all went smoothly. Had a complimentary check and car wash (which was much needed) - didn’t expect this so was a lovely surprise when I went to pick up the car.

Mobility car service absolutely first class service, car picked up at 10am returned by 2pm, would highly recommend.

Made an enquiry about a part exchange for a vehicle they had on website. Initial contact from Tommy was spot on and then I was passed to Steven. Received 4 calls, several texts messages and emails on day one to try and get the deal sorted. Willing to give good price on my car and work my negative equity into overall cost along with my £2k deposit.
End of day one all paperwork sorted to send to finance company, this would take place next day due to timings.
Next day radio silence, following day I have a missed call and call it back couldn’t get a hold of Steven, 4hrs later and 3 more calls still no return call. Roll onto next day and give a call again and finally manage to get Stephen.
Low rate finance was an issue and he was going to sort it and it was a 50:50 call on it but his mate worked for finance company and he’d get it sorted!!
Now onto day 5 and lo and behold no answer from Steven on the 2 calls I give. Both times he was really busy with customers and would get back to me.

It’s amazing the effort that goes into trying to get the sale and when there is a small bump in the road, that enthusiasm to keep in contact with a customer disappears. Pity really as the higher rate I could have taken by putting a higher deposit down.

Just bought a car from Chloe and I could not ask for better service. Work was done to the car in a quick manner and ready within a couple days. Everything was smooth sailing from start to finish and I could not be happier with the car and the service I received.
