Was a fairly stressful experience overall. Price seems high for a fairly basic service, wasn’t informed about additional works before it went ahead (only afterwards) and was charged. It wasn’t clear how much work they would carry on doing until the issue was fixed which made me feel very stressed and took up my time making numerous phone calls to confirm. I asked for a breakdown of what I was paying for via email but didn’t receive any email. Also I was told that the service department didn’t have a direct email address, so I couldn’t confirm anything in writing directly to the service department. Furthermore, the service light came back on less than a day after leaving the garage. I was told my car would be vacuumed and cleaned as part of the price but when I picked up my car it wasn’t cleaned or vacuumed at all. It would be best if additional costs were communicated verbally as well as via email. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this garage for a service again. When I’m paying a lot of money I want to feel valued as a customer and I expected better communication from a dealership of this size.

Bought hyundai kona from them first of all you buy car from dealer for peace of mind but I was very disappointed with them car had 14 points check before sale but it is completely wrong wen car was handed to me t cut was used to hide scratches as soon it rain u can clearly see scratches rear wiped blade were worn out engine management light come on for battery malfunction took back to them for diagnostic was not offer any curtesy car by them totally disappointed with their poor service sale advisor were very welcome once you have not bought the car but once you bought the car they even don't wana look at you overall bad experience my thought completely change for dealer they r exactly after money not bother about service

I've been using their service for many years both for buying and servicing my cars, always covered by service plan. Was satisfied in general until my recent vist. Booked MOT and diagnostic via their helpline (central). When I arrived on Thursday turns out I was only booked for MOT. Initially I was told that all diagnostics are fully booked at least 2 weeks in advance. When I insisted as the car was not running well they agreed to do diagnostic. +£150 to the invoice. They rang me later that day saying some work needs doing and because they have to order parts it will not be done till Monday. Then on Monday as there was no contact I rang them before closing and was told that 1 part didn't arrive and they will chase it Tuesday morning. I've asked for courtessy car as I have to drive to work (working nights, 25 miles with no good public transport or other alternative), but was told they have none available. Then on Tuesday they rang me, that my car is ready to collect. It was 4:30PM and they are closing at 5:00. Really? Did you expect me to wait next door with phone in my hand waiting for the call? So another day of extra cost for me to get to work. Collected the car Wed morning, paying nearly £1.2k. Seriously, you need to sort your approach. And I will be looking for alternative.

Took my car in for service / mot have done for last 8 years & the quality of customer service & service on my car has always been accepting,5☆ !!!
This time I ended up purchasing another car from them as was time to have a change . Mike was brilliant, he sorted everything out , the process was easy no hassle .Will be taking this car for service / mot as I know I'll be happy with everything & the staff you deal with are brilliant, so friendly .

The sales person didn't really know much about the car or explain any of the features or downsides of the car. Compared with our experience buying from a different dealership this was a neutral rather than a positive experience.

Evans Halshaw were brilliant! I couldn’t drop my car off as intended due to work reasons and they were understanding and offered to pick my car up at a location which suited me, which was really helpful! Not only did they repair my car, they kept it clean and washed the outside of my car which I wasn’t expecting! Thank you so much for fixing it! Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs their car repairing.

I wasn’t satisfied with my service. The day after I took my car back the oil level light came on, I reset this and it came back on again. I had to buy another litre of oil. The receipt says 5 litres of oil was put in yet the dip stick was just below half full. My car only holds 5.5 litres of oil according the VW’s website so I’m not convinced this amount was put in. I had four new tyres fitted which were expensive but I was quoted this before proceeding however I’ve had to inflate the drivers side as it wasn’t level and looked less full. Also two items were left in the car which appear to be a nut to fit the tyres and the cap for the data box. I did call back about the oil but they said bring back in which means leaving the car and getting two buses which I can’t do as I’m back at work now. The lady was very good I dealt with and she sold me a service plan but I’ve cancelled the direct debit as I’m not satisfied with the work carried out.

Took my car for it’s second service, very pleasant staff dealt with immediately car was given a health check as well as the service all in all very professional and efficient very pleased.😊.

Great service from all the staff at the showroom. Also a big thanks to maddie who sorted my purchase out smoothly.

Felt very welcome and looked after. Ali went out his way. No pressure tactics. Definitely would deal with again.

All professional and great communication.

I called Evans Halshaw Leeds yesterday and discussed purchasing a car I had seen on the web site. I discussed my needs and the team were amazingly helpful.
There was no pressure to buy and they took time to discuss options and even sent a full video of the car for me to see.
Decided that this was the car for me and Peter Colitas could not have done anything more for me, he even got me a coffee.
Thank you so much for all the help and advice and I will be very sure to recommend you in the future

Booked car in for MOT. Staff very helpful and accommodating from start to finish. Communicated when car was ready and how to make payment online. Even gave car a complimentary wash and vac. Would highly recommend.

Had the car booked in for warranty repair and was told there would be a courtesy car available. When my pregnant wife dropped the car off she was told there were no courtesy cars available and that they had tried to ring us, however neither my wife or myself had any calls or missed calls from Evans.
This was not an ideal situation and very frustrating.

MOT only but made very easy as I was able to have a courtesy car. Full report with video at the end of the process.

Great service all round. Would recommend.
