Excellent experience

The staff are always helpful. I took the car in at 07.30 and I received my text and video check by 14.00 that everything was OK and ready for pickup.
I will return for the next MOT as I trust them (which is THE main reason).

My 11 year old Corsa in for service & MOT. Car collected as arranged. Kept abreast of the examination and procedure throughout via video mail. Paid on line with no extra costs. Vehicle returned. Excellent service throughout.

It's been a year now since we bought our second hand car in Evans Halshaw Shiremoor. We have been through a lot of problem with the car and the after sales service is really bad.we have spend a lot of money on repairs even though we bought the Pendragon extended warranty. Please don't buy this product it will not cover your repairs. MOT service as well is not good they miss to check broken parts. Never have your MOT taken on the same garage you bought the car. I will not recommend this car dealership to anyone.

Booked Mokka into Shiremoor dealership for a callback re fuel pipe. The dealers also carried out a full health check. All done within a couple of hours with no charge. Video of work was sent to me.

My Vauxhall was serviced and had its MOT yesterday. As usual, communication with the friendly and helpful service receptionist was excellent throughout. My service plan offers an extra service. Someone will collect and return the car afterwards. I really appreciate this facility.

Went in to look at a 2022 Nissan Qashqai. Was looked after by Carl who was wonderful. Carl talked through all the intricacies of the contract and optional extras very efficiently and never made me feel pressured to make a decision. When I picked the car up both the interior and exterior were spotless and Carl even helped me move my toddlers car seat from my old car to the new.

I bought a pre-owned Vauxhall Mokka in green from this garage, the car I've wanted for years purely based on it's looks, I love it, but then things started to go wrong..

TLDR: I was sold a car with worn rear break pads and grease started leaking down the pedals (They confirmed this). They repaired it, and now it's leaking again..

I purchased this automatic Mokka in June 2025, took out all the warranty and cover possible and drove home in love with the car. I'd driven a smaller 2013 car before this for three years, so it was a big upgrade.

Four weeks go by and I noticed a puddle on the front drivers mat. I initially thought this was brought in from my shoes, but when I went to wipe it away, it was very sticky, and I hadn't spilt anything down their. I checked the pedals, and the substance (which they later confirmed as grease) was on the break and accelerator pedals so I arranged to have the car took in for inspection.

When I was buying the car, they advised the car had been MOTd in March. There was an fail on the front breaks, which was repaired and the car was good to go. However, there was nothing mentioned in the MOT about the rear breaks .

When I took the car for examination about the leak on the front pedals, they advised the rear breaks were worn and replaced the break pads and discs. I'd done around 200 miles in the car in the 6 weeks I had it, and when I asked them about this, they said they had sold me the car with work rear break pads, and didn't even apologise. When I bought the car, it also had squeaky breaks which the advisor Elliot told me was dust, and would go away with use, this was a lie, or he didn't know why it was squeaking and just guessed, neither scenario was appropriate.

Now, a few weeks later and the grease has appeared again, leaking down the front break pedal

This shouldn't be happening, I don't know why it's happening, and I will be raising a formal complaint with them, and most likely the motoring ombudsman, and the company I took my PCP agreement out with.

I have a small child, and it makes me feel anxious, and also guilty for driving him around in a car which was sold to me unsafe.

I've no idea how the rear break pads didn't appear on the MOT when it was done so recently.

Have dealt with John to purchase our last few cars. Very good service - quick and helpful.
