Jake at Formula one in Harlow is always helpful.
The staff are genuine and friendly.
I feel safe in the knowledge that only the work that is needed will be carried out on my car.

Jake was very polite and helpful. He kept me up to date with the work on my car and put my mind at ease. I would thoroughly recommend this garage.

Whenever we have been to formula 1 we have always found the staff very friendly and recently was no exception. Jake (the manager) booked the car in for us for a diagnostic test and explained if there was a problem they could fix it. They did this and it was ready the next day (it being quite a big job). Excellent service and will use the branch again when the mot is due. Thank you Formula 1.

Went into Formula 1 autocentre at Harlow as warning light on car showing problem with tyre pressure. Had accidently left my mobile at home and didn't want to risk driving on motorway. Greeted by the manager who was extremely helpful and sensing my predicament fitted me in. Tyre pressures and alignment were checked, they even took my car for a test drive and they didn't charge me anything. Absolutely brilliant service - can't speak highly enough. Thank you so much!

Simple MOT but super friendly guy on reception. That’s not always the case with garages. Second visit to Formula One and will return.

Was so worried about my daughter’s tyres . The guy at Harlow was amazing checked all her tyres and put my mind at rest . Thank you excellent service . Listened , was polite and courteous .cant thank them enough . Definitely recommend.

My car just failed it’s MOT at the Harlow branch and the failure was down to windscreen washer jets on both sides. I knew these were working fine because I cleared them out in preparation for the MOT two days before the test. I had two jets spewing water out on both sides to start with and then one on the drivers side randomly stopped and started but there was always at least one jet constantly spewing out water on both sides of the windscreen. Before the manager took a look he said that all I needed was one jet to be working on both sides and I proved this when I showed him. He then went into ‘protect my staff mode’ when he saw the water gushing onto the windscreen and said that it couldn’t have been doing it like this at the time of the MOT. Absolute disgrace, ample water on both sides of the windscreen but somehow it fails and the MOT tester is too busy to explain his decision. Complete waste of an MOT fee, I’m going back to Halfords now where they don’t pull stunts like this, you may pay a few pounds more but at least they know their stuff.

UPDATE. The following morning from the MOT failure and me posting this experience, I was called by the manager who I spoke to he previous evening. He explained to me the the MOT tester couldn’t get a single drop of water on to the windscreen via the water jets which then caused the failure. I was invited back to F1 later that day for a free retest and funnily enough the car passed because just like I showed the manager the previous evening when I was told it had failed, the water jets poured water all over the windscreen like they should.

This whole sorry incident including the one star review could have and should have been avoided if only you would have not been so unhelpful the night of the failure when I was showing you and proving to you there was nothing wrong with the windscreen water jets.

I made the unfortunate mistake of using this place for an mot.my car has not failed any mot and is in road worthy condition. The retest was three times and a waste of my time and fuel.the office person jake was rude and discriminatory towards me.I spend another £100 unnecessarily as when I took my car to another test centre and passed first time.

Needed an emergency tyre repair on our way to the airport, called to the Harlow branch Friday morning 8/9/23 and the team were so helpful and fitted us the tyre in half an hour knowing we had to get to our flight on time! Thank you so much.
