Worst App Ever!
Worst app ever! We have 5g fiber Wi-Fi (internet) and every other app works just fine. We just had a new modem installed and our Wi-Fi is stable and high speed. Fandango At Home app buffers ALL THE TIME! Biggest problem is that the TV series we have bought do not show up on Movies Anywhere so we are stuck with this terrible service. Do better, Fandango!
Sound issues
I purchased a lot of movies when it was VUDU. I like the app except that have had sound issues for years and they are doing nothing to correct it. The sound constantly screws up during a movie and you have to hit the back button to correct it. You have to do this multiple times for almost every movie. Any help you get is useless, they say TV, Roku, HDMI cable, reinstall the app, clear the cache; none of that works and no other apps have the problem.
The movie stopped playing
The movie stopped playing. I contacted coustomer service. They asked me numerous question to verify my account. Then told me I had watched more than 10 minutes of the movie so they could not give me any credit back. I asked to speak to supervisor and was told there were none available. Time for new on demand platform.

Talking to some guy who didn’t speak English and very rude. So I’m out $35 . I inadvertently bought the wrong tickets and the time I could speak to someone the movie started. I tried 3 times to speak to someone who I could understand but no dice. Totally unprofessional.

Don’t ever expect a refund
Stalled the process of refunding tickets by five me an error when I tried to until after the showing time when it magically didn’t have any more errors but you obviously can’t refund something after the showing time.
Complete trash
Complete trash. Will never use them again and telling everyone i know to never use them either. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE what so ever, and Confusing refund restraints. (The reviews are all true, which is why they have a 1 star rating.)
I purchased tickets online for zootopia…
I purchased tickets online for zootopia 2 the Friday after thanksgiving . When I tried to download the tickets the site errored out. I tried to get assistance through the chat called and spoke with a girl. Named Emma who stated she was the only Emma . And also couldn’t provide me a refund because she couldn’t find the transaction but the transaction still went through. I was charged with no way to redeem the tickets . I had to purchase tickets again for a later showing at a different theater because the other showing was filled . Fandango did nothing to refund or make sure I was taken care of

Holy crap when it was vudu it was fine now that Fandango has it I cant get through a movie without 100 buffer stops. Everyone of my other streaming apps work outstanding but man this app is garbage now I wont buy anything else on the app ever.

Terrible experiences with buffering while streaming movies - the company is not investing in the severs required to stream content to its customer base. There should be a legal action brought against this company - they sell movies to buy or rent with the promise of a quality streaming experience and do not have the capacity to deliver the service.

App is garbage now
App is garbage now. Very disappointed to live in a time where I have to watch ads in order to purchase movie tickets. And now when you buy a ticket it repeatedly tries to trick you into signing up for their promotional emails hoping you won't notice the checkbox that is enabled. No confirmation screen when you buy the tickets as a guest. Terrible, thumbs down, boo and hiss *throws tomatoes*

The rental choices are good but the free options are enjoyable.
Useless card
Useless card. Went to the movie theater to use the card.
Ended up getting on the site to buy tickets only to find that the card would not work. Do not buy these cards as gifts.
Ridiculous
Ridiculous. Fandango made it look like I was buying an entire series but it was just one season. Attempted refund on the chat but while I was typing the “chat assistant” ended the chat. Now on hold for a rep. Guess I’m out $30.

The worst of the worst
on 11/17/2025 i went to purchase tickets for Wicked at the theater in Westbury NY. The tickets confirmed the date of 11/19/2025. After the purchase I had my daughter confirm the tickets on her cell phone. They were for 11/17/2025 and the show was starting in 10 minutes. Upon contacting customer service and being given the runaround for 15 minutes I was told "The show already started there's nothing we can do" not even an exchange. No wonder they have the worst reviews on the internet. I want my money refunded!!!!
Customer service is useless!
Please don't make the same mistake I did & bother interacting with customer service useless! I email, chat online & even called! They keep asking for the same info I keep providing I reply to their email and just read very small font it says reply to support@vudu com!!!! WTF!!!! They don't say that at all I'm over a month now losing my patience. I will definitely not deal with them again if this ever gets fixed!!!! F**** Fandango! Go back to being vudu, you obviously kept it the email, so ridiculous!

Scam to make sure they don't refund tickets
I had tried to cancel my tickets before the scheduled movie time by calling their customer service with minutes to spare. Given their automated responses, it took enough minutes before I could talk to a representative, that I was just past the movie start time when I asked to speak to a representative. Then that rep took at least 5 minutes to take my information and explain my options, before then telling me I was too late. And then trying to get a refund processed by escalating my complaint, has been stonewalled. I RECOMMEND THAT NO PERSON EVER BUY TICKETS THROUGH FANDANGO.
