5 stars all the way what a fantastic team very professional and understanding the person who was dealing with my case needs a medal it went backwards and forwards from mistakes from other professionals that she did not let lie and got my case sorted for me after a lengthy time in waiting and numerous complaints she was 100%committed in getting it resolved and that she did I can't thankyou enough for dealing with it as I was going through a very hard time myself

Staff leaving then nobody contacts so end up chasing them which is completely wrong. Now left in limbo again. It's cruel as I'm still grieving my mother and just want to put everything behind me. Very poor.

Myself and my family have been dealing with this service for over 3 years now since my late father passed. In that time we have had a change over of 4 case managers. None of which we was advised of unless we made contact chasing them up. One of them told us they had send off for the grant of probate which would take 6 months. We then found out that person had left the company and had not applied for the “will of probable” so we then had to wait for to to be reset. This took us back another year. To this day they haven’t called formally written to any of us to advise of of our inheritance. I am now in a battle with them to release my share of my inheritance. They have released to all my siblings but not to me sharing they need to ensure they have some funds left on the account incase they have over paid us. But I have not be paid my 9% while everyone else has. So I am now seeking legal action from the legal ombudsman stay away from this company. They never return calls or emails so I am unable to get a clear answer and I’m over three years they claim they still are unable to know what the estimate estate is worth even they they have paid most of the people names in the will. Apparently an interim payment. What of nearly 500,000 stay clear of them

I have had a reply from our fantastic firm of conveyancers regarding the sale of our late father's house.

Fidelis stated in their recent reply: "Additionally, in your case, the solicitor you chose to handle the sale of the property took 12 days to send us the completion statement, and then a further month before releasing the funds."
Our conveyancers state: "Having looked into this for you I can confirm that the net sale proceeds were sent to Fidelis on 11/07/24 in accordance with the ledger entry below" (unfortunately, I can not attach the screenshot they sent but have sent it to Fidelis.)

They added, "You may recall that completion occurred later than expected, so your buyers solicitors paid a late completion penalty of £102.33 This was missed off the original completion statement in error but was sent to Fidelis on 21/08/24."

Fidelis' deliberate misrepresentation of facts speaks volumes about their lack of integrity, professionalism, customer care, and compassion for a grieving family.

To be clear, Fidelis has had possession of the sales proceeds (in excess of £400,000) since the 11th July 2024.

To anyone thinking about using Fidelis I would say, do not have dealings with this company - the stress, emotional toil and financial strain they are putting us under is immense.

To Fidelis I would say, respond to my yet unanswered complaints of 22nd August and 23rd September 2024, do your job and release the funds - your arrogance and dismissive attitude is harming your reputation. I would then be able to post a positive reply that the matter is concluded.

Very helpful explaining things easy to understand always took time explore different options for myself and family also never pushed anything I didn't need

Straight forward, explained what was going on, hopefully covers everything we require.
Only complaint is the cost of looking after my will has gone from £50 yearly to £17.99 per month.

The whole process that Fidelis Legal use is customer friendly, very informative and professional when asked to explain any info I did not understand. I was kept in the loop with progress of my claim.

Helpful service all information given and explained well.

The agent was a lovely lady. She explained everything clearly with no pressure. It was something I needed to sort out to protect my children. The only thing I would mention is that the cost wasnt discussed until the end. In my case it didnt affect my decision but anyone with a budget may have been disappointed that they couldnt proceed. I purchased with a loan and was surprised that I was accepted as I am just on the new state pension. All together an easy procedure.

I don’t know enough about the company we were involved with Simpler Law and Fidelis is who we pay for the legal side , so of course we just hope that the company is true and honest . The young girl that rang me was very pleasant and clear about the company so that’s all you can ask .

Explained to us in a way we understood, not confused by the legal jargon Max the agent kept us well informed, she was really good, took a little longer than we thought, but this was down to other agencies, we would recommend a Fidelis

That says it all when I was going to leave my review it said what's gone wrong you need to be able to leave a negative mark I wish I had never heard of them 3 years later and I'm still waiting for this to be finished don't use them there con artists I'm sure they don't know what there doing im on my 4th person and I don't know who that is they dont answer your emails or phone calls I want to file a report with the police for robbery

If only I could give a minus rating! Even 1 star is way too much for the way this case is being handled. Been promised call backs and only radio silence. Never able to speak with agents. Engaged with Fidelis October 2022 for full administration of probate which ends today, 14/08/2024, yet still no update and no end in sight. Highly disappointed doesn't cut it and would never recommend Fidelis Legal Services for their lies and incompetence

Absolutely awful service.
Went full administration thinking it would be less of a headache, and less stress, and it was the worst decision ever! Constantly being told people weren’t available to speak to, then the women dealing with the probate initially left, and the case was left dormant for 6 months until we called to chase it, then the next woman went on maternity leave, and we weren’t told, then the next person working on the case rarely returns calls not to mention emails! Constantly moving the goal posts, it has been the most mentally and emotionally draining thing we’ve gone through, 2 years along and still no end in site!!
Do not use them for probate! Forever adding more expenses and not giving any time frame, so left totally in the dark. Struggling to have any closure, no compassion about the situation and the length of time it’s taking them to sort.
