Rogue valuations
I was referred by my housing association P A Housing to use them so i did as its shared ownership property, to my amazement the value of my flat dropped , my mortgage company survey also dropped but did not match Frasers survey, now in order to purchase additional shares my mortgage company has to agree to PA housingâs referred valuation but obviously they refused so i went with another mortgage co in order to see whether Frasers were right, they too came back with even a lower value , so now 3 diff valuations but Frasers refused to acknowledge the other two lower valuation putting it down to excuses like they have not seen comparison etc when Frasers comparison didnât even match my property size or description and PA housing only agreed with Frasers so due to this i lost out on purchasing more shares , total waste if time and money mind you all valuations RICs approved valuer, what amazes me is hoe you can get 3 diff valuations if all are meant to be following the guidelines and I wonder who is Frasers actually working for when I paid for the survey. Please donât use them if your shared ownership owner, i feel they all work hand in hand, i logged a complaint and neither fraser has come back or P A housing âŠ. People think twice before purchasing a shared ownership property as you will never win either these schemes its all beneficial yo the developers and the governments and housing associations.
