I contacted MAP Surveyors for a survey on a leasehold flat as my solicitor advised a survey should be carried out. Vicky Newby was the surveyor instructed. She was very thorough in her report, which arrived within a few days, and raised things that I wouldnt have thought of!! As she advised, I was only looking at the flat when I viewed, she was looking at the building as a whole. The items she raised enabled my solicitor to raise enquiries on them, and consequently negotiate a reduction to allow remedial works to be carried out post completion. Great service, and excellent communication from the office staff. Would highly recommend

Excellent experience with our RICS level 2 survey. On the morning of the inspection the surveyor phoned to ask if we had any particular areas of concern about the property. She called again in the afternoon to give a verbal report. The written report is very thorough with photos showing issues with advice on how these can be addressed. Will recommend.

Excellent service great help with queries.

I am from outside the UK and I ordered a RICS Level 2 Survey and received a detailed Report Seven day After the Survey on Site.
I could arrange Everything online with them.
They scheduled the Date with the seller and I am very satisfied with the work.
I can recommend MAP and will work with them again Next time!

The whole booking process was very straightforward, on the day Richard called me to explain what the survey would cover and what I could expect from the process. I didn't feel rushed at all and he was happy to answer any questions. He was friendly and professional throughout. 
Once the survey had been completed Richard called me to talk through the findings and ensure I fully understood what the report would cover. He was happy to clarify anything that wasn't clear. Nothing seemed too much trouble, He allayed some fears I had but made me aware of some issues I didn't know about and the severity of them. The report was sent to me in good time, I would happily use MAP in future.

Our Level 3 survey was undertaken quickly and MAPS fitted us in on a cancellation which was really helpful. The Report was with us very quickly after the survey and was very thorough and simply laid out. The follow up call with the Surveyor, Dean Wood, was most helpful. Credit to Dean's patience with us! Would happily use them again and recommend them to anyone

Overall they are fine, but it’s often hard to find the right person to speak to in order to get the information you need. Their portal system is clunky and not useful, and everything feels very old fashioned. Asking questions gets fobbed off to you getting a new quote. The job got done but it hasn’t been easy and has required a lot of effort and managing on my end.

We had Chris from MAP carry out a Level 3 building survey on a property we are purchasing and we couldn't be more grateful for the service he provided. Chris went above and beyond any other surveyor I have ever experienced — he didn't miss a single area of the property, and the survey was thorough in a way I have never encountered before.
What really stood out was the time Chris gave us afterwards — he spent over an hour patiently going through the survey with us, explaining every finding and answering all our questions until we felt completely confident we understood the report. That level of care and generosity with his time made a real difference, and we're so thankful for it.
The final report itself was detailed but easy to understand, striking a great balance between technical accuracy and plain-English explanations, which made it genuinely useful when negotiating and planning next steps.
