I have had cards declined even though


I have had cards declined even though my credit limit is well within what I spend and I still don't know why.

Credit limit on cards

Needed a credit limit increase on the card; emailed requesting this, got an affirmative reply within the hour.

I asked for an increase to my credit


I asked for an increase to my credit limit as being a driving instructor I get through a lot of fuel and they granted it within half an hour excellent!

£49 for Direct debit missing

Don't apply before read this comment.
If u miss your direct debit they charging £49 every missing direct debit.It doesn't matter how much you spend in your account.If you're looking fuel card,you should check Shell fuel card.Because shell not charging any money for direct debit missing.Also fuelgenie have a poor customer service.

Thank you for your comments.
The dates when the funds are taken from your bank following the Direct Debit request are determined by the bank and the payment clearance process; we request the DD on a set date, the bank will honour the DD request, usually the day after the initial request (this is when you'll see it deducted from your bank account), and we will receive the cleared funds from the bank the day after they honour the request, so there is a 3 working days cycle for the payment; initial request, payment and then clearance of funds.
Unfortunately we can't make the funds available as credit again until we receive the cleared funds from the bank.
