Gabrielle was excellent. Having a brain injury I can’t get out, so he took a video of the table I was interested in and sent it to me. He took his time to answer questions, gave great advice and I look forward to seeing the table. He made the experience easy and was very friendly

Lola was extremely patient and understanding for what has been a very difficult time for us. We have been flooded out of our house for 7 months and after many difficulties and problems the last thing we needed was a problem with the furniture as we move back home next Friday. Lola reassured me that all would be well fingers crossed she is an asset to your company.

Todd was helpful informative and went above and beyond and beyond to make my purchase easy. Just excellent service, nothing was too much trouble

I went in to the shop just to find a bed pillow and after finding one i liked, there was only the display model left so i asked if they had a new sealed one to buy. They went off and after waiting 10 minutes they eventually came back with a new sealed one. I only wanted to buy one so i could try it and see if i liked it.

The payment process was awfully slow, it took about 15 minutes and i had to give every last detail about myself, name, address, phone number, email, and sign a whole load of forms. it took forever and its absolutely ridiculous i have to spend my time inputting all this information just to buy a pillow, while the staff manually typed it all in on an old slow computer. it was honestly like being back in the 1990’s.

Once i had used it a few weeks and liked the pillow, i tried to buy another one online as it was a furniture village exclusive product i could only get it here. They charged a shocking £10 for delivery and said it would arrive within 20 days!!

It never turned up and a month later i contacted them asking for a refund, they told me they had never delivered the item as i didn’t contact them to choose a date for delivery, and that i wouldn’t be refunded. What an absolute load of nonsense! It’s a pillow!! just put it in a box and slap a royal mail 48h label on it and send it to me. what is so difficult about this?

Eventually i had to go through my credit card to initiate a chargeback to get my money back on the item they never sent me.

Unfortunately i needed a second pillow and had the misfortune of having to visit the shop again to buy it in person, went through the whole 10 minute checkout process all over again and left. i will never go back to this dinosaur of a company.

Honestly this is why i only really ever use Amazon now because these shops take the absolute mick out of you and have no shame in it

Deliver drivers were first class.

Phone call from Furniture Village customer services.
Wound full Lady called Carol talked us through our customer rights and the procedure on the return and replacement of the damaged goods.
She is following up the damage with Parker Knoll and will contact us by email asap.

We placed a rather large order of 4 wardrobes. On one of them once delivered and installed the dimensions did not match our expectations. That deception came on top of an already bad experience with the Furniture Village delivery and assembly contractors.
Howe ever, Adam took the whole situation in hand and corrected and made good the short comings with both the undersized wardrobe and the assembly contractors. Adam did not relent until we got full satisfaction, all with excellent communication skills and savvy customer relations. He always updated us on the progress of each issue and we were never left in the dark.
We highly recommend Adam to his supervisors as the definition of customer satisfaction and we see him as an asset to Furniture Village.

Staff was very helpful and the lady service was great I will recommend people to u I am very happy

The assistant Joel was helpful and informative on all the options (fabric, recliner options, colours) relating to the sofa we wanted to purcase.

Good showroom, lots of options on display. Nice friendly staff member called Pascal, who was helpful, knowledgeable but not at all pushy.

I was not advised the sofa would come as one and not split therefore did not fit around our stairwell and was returned to the warehouse. As the situation stands we now have to pay another company £180 to take the sofa apart and deliver, I will not recommend Furniture Village in the future.

We have been looking for a sofa for about a month and it was a nightmare trying to find one that we loved that could also fit into our flat though skinny corridors and 90 degree angle's. We went into furniture village in Brighton and were greeted by Fran who was very friendly, offered his help and a cup of tea and gave us all of the fabric samples etc that we needed. He let us have a good chat and a look on our own and we fell in love with a sofa. He and his colleague then explained to us about an upholsterer that they work with who could pick up the sofa, deconstruct it, and reconstruct it inside our lounge for us in order to get it in. The whole process was so ridiculously smooth compared to other places we have been. There’s a 7 week wait for the couch which is less than most other places too! Most other places just shrugged their shoulders about getting it in through tight hallways and some even insisted their delivery drivers would get it in, which objectively would never ever have been possible and we would have ended up paying to send it back. Very happy with our experience so far.

All the staff were happy and friendly, joel morris served us and was extreemly helpful, informative , friendly and happy without being too pushy. He listened to what we wanted and took us straight to the appropriate sofas. The shop was clean and easy to get round, even the toilet was clean and nice. We went with the intention of just looking and left having bought a sofa.

Staff were friendly, we had our son and daughter with us. We were quietly asked by one of the sales team if our kids could be offered and given a free cookie. Kids obviously excited to run around and test out sofas and beds, but at the end of the day staff said kids were very well behaved.

Another phenomenal experience at Furnitureland on 8th August. I saw Joel earlier this week where I thought I saw the corner sofa that I wanted however I needed to measure it and wanted to think about it. No pressure from Joel. He even gave me the book of fabric samples to take home to see in the natural light as opposed to in a shop.
I returned on 8th August. Having realised that the corner sofa I thought I wanted wasn’t the thing, it was back to the drawing board, so I went for a wander around the store.
Again, no pressure from Joel.
I eventually found just the thing. So sat with Joel to go through the ordering process.
In about 6 weeks, I should shoe my new settee and armchair.
What I love about this store is the total lack of pressure from the team.
They are there when you need them.
The furniture sells itself.

Joel was great, super helpful and efficient, explained everything and made the purchase of our sofa really easy and simple.

I found that the guy that sold me in the bed today was very nice, very helpful. And understanding of my mobility, he made you feel comfortable, relaxed. And I didn't feel pressured into buying anything. He gave me a good deal. I learned a lot of advice. That's why I give him 5 stars.
