Furniture Village - Orpington レビュー 

We ordered wardrobes back in January. There was a dent which was clearly visible and the backs of both wardrobes hadn’t been fixed correctly, We are on our 19th week of waiting for the replacement! Would never order anything from Furniture Village again, Their lack of customer service is shocking.

Extremely disappointing experience with Furniture Village Orpington.

I placed an order for a complete bed set on 18 April after being assured by the sales team that delivery would take approximately 3–4 weeks. Nearly 8 weeks later, I am still waiting for the order and have received a series of broken promises and contradictory updates.

Over the course of the delay, I was given multiple delivery dates including 28 May, 29 May, 1 June and 6 June. Every one of these dates passed without delivery.

What has been most frustrating is the conflicting information provided by the store. First Instance : I was assured on 26 May that delivery will happen on 28 May but did not happened. Second Instance : They tried delivering only 50% of the order on 29th May. Third Instance : On 1 June, I was told that the date was supplier-confirmed and effectively locked in, yet the delivery never happened. On 2 June I was informed that Item is not delivered to their warehouse. Forth Instance: On 7 June, I was informed that the item had already arrived at the warehouse and was simply waiting to be scanned into the system. Less than 24 hours later, I was told that the item had not arrived at the warehouse at all and that they were hoping it might arrive on 9 or 10 June, although they could not guarantee it.

As a customer, it is difficult to have confidence in a company when the information changes from days to days and week to week and nobody appears able to confirm where the order actually is.

The bed was purchased specifically for a guest staying with us. Because of these repeated delays, my guest has now been sleeping on a couch for over six weeks beyond the original delivery timeframe. Every week I have been told that delivery is just around the corner, only to receive another excuse and another revised date.

I understand that supply chain issues can happen, but what I cannot accept is the lack of transparency, very poor communication, and repeated commitments that are not honored.

Unfortunately, this experience has completely eroded my trust in Furniture Village. In future, I will not be purchasing from Furniture Village again and would not recommend them to friends, family, or colleagues at any cost.

Great Service from Abbey really helped with the colour decision. So pleased with our Old Sofa we ended up buying the same again after 15 years Albeit a different Colour.
Quality all round.

Had been to the store several times in the past. Products stand out from the rest with quality fit and best Oak pieces.

Claire was extremely helpful, informative, professional- just what you needed. We went for the Hartley bedroom furniture. Headboard and very good bed with excellent bottom lifting under storage.

Prices were very good also for the spec we liked. Always our go to place once we’ve checked the competition.

My mum and I along with my aunt and uncle came to Furniture Village Orpington with the intention of finding suitable dining furniture for our kitchen.
We were very fortunate to be served by Clare. She gave us helpful advice and stayed with us until well after the store had closed. She never showed any sign of impatience or the need for us to rush or leave. She kept calm and cheerful all throughout. We were very satisfied by the customer service we received and now await the delivery of the dining table and chairs we purchased.

Good attention

Fabulous help and support over several months to get it right for us. No pressure, always helpful with advice and options but left to make our own decisions in our own time. Everything explained and very knowledgeable staff. Top rate sales person, Steve, was excellent.

Very professional and very knowledgeable about what she was selling, very kind and patient with us, Clare spent time showing us the furniture they had available and also she gave us detailed offers that they had at the shop also offered us coffee and a cookie for my son, I am very happy with what I have purchased and I appreciated the effort she had put in showing me everything and the advices of what would match and look very good with the choices I had on mind.

The customer service was very good really liked the consultant Abbeywho served us who made the whole process very easy

The staff at Orpington branch are very friendly.
They let you browse at you leisure but are on hand if you have questions just remember if you require larger items (I.e. a sofa, dining table etc) it can take up to three months to be delivered. The items they sell are are top quality and sturdy.

We purchased the Clio dining set in store, after being told delivery would take between 7-14 days (as per the website and what the sales person advised us of). I have been monitoring delivery date and the delivery time has gone up to 3 weeks initially and now showing for end of July. Had we known this, we would not have placed the order. Very disappointed with the service.

Sales staff were informative and helpful without being pushy, and made us excited about our new mattress! Thanks Leigh
