I ordered a foosball table on January 2025. I paid up front in full.
I was promised delivery in 6 to 8 weeks.
They never mentioned a delivery charge ever .
I never received any updates. I would ask and get promised delivery in a month. This went on for 11 months. I suggested that my solicitor got involved and make a fraud case against them . They assured us pre Christmas. I decided to give them one more week.
It arrived yesterday. Sadly it is not what I ordered but they knew they had to do something. They delivered what they had in stock as they had never ordered mine.. they then said if I wirhdraw my review they would put it right! First call I had from them. What a surprise . Really disgusting and worst experience you could imagine.
This has now catalysed me into taking legal action. All they had to do was tell the truth.. now it will escalate

Once again this company has let everyone down. How many times will it be liquidated only to reappear the next day under another one of Alexander Walder Smiths negligent associates? Read the Gazette list yourself!

The company took deposit for a pool table and pinball machine in October, confirming at the time of order that the items would be delivered before Xmas. I called and emailed the company multiple times after the order requesting a delivery update and they were evasive “seeking an update” or non responsive. On the 15th December after the 7th time I chased seeking a deliver date they told me “it looked like late January / February”. I have no confidence it will be delivered at all - I have since cancelled my order and now the company is refusing to refund my money.

This is an update to my one-star review already published. The owner of the company posted a response to my original review, saying my pool table would be delivered by Christmas. It's now 15 December and there is no delivery scheduled, over 23 weeks after my order was made on the promise of a 5-6 week delivery period. As a result of my experience, I contacted my bank, who were very helpful.

I am pleased to report that I am now (on 20 December) in receipt of a refund of my deposit from The Games Room Company.

Having initially given this company a 1 star review I have now amended as my juke box has arrived and it is everything I had hoped for. Alexander called me after my initial review and has looked after me personally since. Service was 1000% better and he kept me up dated via What's App with personal delivery from him yesterday.

My wife ordered a football table vin October 2024 and paid in full. She chased delivery many times until GC told her that needed to wait until they had orders for 30 tables to get them shipped from yourselves. She was originally quoted 12-16 weeks for delivery.
She was told in May that 12 tables were arriving shortly, and delivery would follow.
She contacts them several times each month and is consistently fobbed off. They keep promising delivery dates which fail to be met. We have no idea when we will receive the table.

Do not risk your money. The company looks unstable according to companies house.

Cannot stress enough, do not buy anything from this company! They took our deposit and never delivered the game and they wouldn’t return our money! Do not use them!

Ordered a pool table cloth and paid for it fully in July. It's September and still haven't received anything. I call and email nearly daily and have no reply or updates. It's a scam...avoid

Customer friendly and honest trouble shooting by qualified 'old school' technicians who know what they're about in an ever shrinking profession. Had my Jukebox since the 70's and have always confidently turned to the Games Room company with any problems that may have occurred. Recently shipped it back from Australia for a service with follow up FaceTime review. Still going strong.

I was speaking to the Claire about the possibility of purchasing some items for a project. She responded immediately and was incredibly helpful. She provided the requested information quickly and also shared additional, relevant items to give us many options as possible. We haven't ended up using them this time as the client went in a different direction but I couldn't recommend more and hope we can working with Games Room Company in the future!

I was trying to purchase a specific pinball machine with stock availability and immediate delivery in the UK. Claire tried her best to accommodate my requirements. However, she couldn’t source the machine I wanted in a short time frame. I will be making another purchase soon and will definitely try the Games Room. Very professional company and easy to deal with.

I called The Games Room Company and also visited them to get advice on moving a Duke Box purchased from them. They could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Whilst moving the Duke Box we encountered a problem. I called them late on a Friday and within 15 minutes an engineer called me back and very quickly resolved the problem. THANK YOU Mark and Henrietta.

What has been reassurancing is the fantastic after sales service.

Be very careful. I paid £26k upfront for a refurbished juke box and after 3 yrs of excuses found they had restructured and put some of the group companies into administration , started trading under a new company and despite stringing me along for another year saying they would deliver they never did. Staff have best intentions but be careful if asked to fund upfront.

Ordered a football table from The Games Room Company in March 2023 after receiving regular sales calls over several months from their Sales Executive, Claire Zerafa. In hindsight, the persistence felt excessive and may have been a red flag I missed.

Despite paying in full nearly two years ago, we have yet to receive the product. The owner, Alexander, eventually told us the company could neither fulfill the order nor issue a refund. He mentioned looking for a solution, but we never heard from him again.

We filed a small claims court case nearly a year ago, but it has made no progress. We were informed by their accountants that The Games Room Company has entered liquidation last summer.

It’s extremely concerning that, despite this, the company appears to still be trading in some form. We’ve had no communication from them, no responses to calls or emails, and no resolution. Our company is now £3,000 out of pocket.

Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely negative. Based on this, I would strongly advise others to exercise caution. Promises were made, money was taken, and we’ve been left without the product or refund.

Purchased an American pool table from The Games Room Company. Great communication and they delivered and set the table up quickly. Thoroughly recommend these guys. If you get a chance do visit their show room in Surrey there are some great boys' toys to be seen...

Alexander and Claire at The Games Room are fantastic people to deal with. Claire is so considerate and helpful that you actually don’t feel like you’re dealing with a company you feel like you’re dealing with an old friend. They do amazing work and the service is stellar. If you are looking for a unique machine for your home or games room these guys are the cream of the crop.
