Purchase did not arrive, ignored by customer service chat

In September I made a sizeable purchase at Old Navy/Gap. Purchase #: 1NHHWY0. One item was shipped separately, Sublime T shirt size S. It has never arrived!!! I have tried contacting UPS multiple times and have filed a claim, however I have not heard back from either UPS or Gap. The tracking shows it was delivered to Dartmouth, but I live in halifax, the next town over. I still have not received this item, and it was supposedly delivered back on September 24.

I have tried multiple times other get in touch with Gap customer service on their own website and the agents do not even respond to my inquiry, they read it (almost word for word what I've written above) and then ignore and leave the chat. I am going to have to file a chargeback on my visa and I am very upset that gap will not help me with this order, I would never purchase from them again.

What went wrong this time? - same as every time!!

What went wrong this time? Well the same that happens every time - the order arrived with brown jeans when green were ordered - surprise surprise!!
GAP jeans are great but this online order service is rubbish. I have never received the correct item first time. This must be the 8th time I have had an incorrect delivery and yet each time I ring up I get a surprised response from a really nice person. What is it with this system? Are you using robots who are both dyslexic and colour blind? I would love to be able to buy GAP jeans in store but it's no longer possible. How can Next operate cost effectively if EVRI have to keep collecting incorrect orders to return? Abysmal service, but good jeans when you receive what you ask for - which is once in a blue moon.

I have never received my order of €80…

I have never received my order of €80 in total (ordered from www gap com se). After exchanging odd email messages with a person without the name nor contact details nothing happened. If I go on a tracking number that this person provided, everything is in Chinese and it says that order has been delivered, which is not.

Received wrong item and hassle to get refunded

Multiple times they've sent the wrong order. In order to get my money back for an item I don't even want, I have to take it to Returns. This is their mistake; the customer should not have to make a separate trip to return an item that they didn't want or order in the first place. they need to send a free pick up label. I then had to replace the same order again and at this point, things sometimes go out of stock, price is different etc. This needs to be corrected.

If I could give zero stars, I would!

If I could give zero stars, I would! My package was delayed. Each day, the tracking info said out for delivery, but it never got delivered. I had to reach out 3 times to customer service to see if they could help i.e. give me an ETA or resend the item. The customer service reps were inept, didn't resolve my issue, and didn't appear to care that I was frustrated. I had to put through a claim to get a refund for the undelivered item. They didn't explain this process to me properly either resulting in more frustration. The best part is, when I put through the claim, I got a warning message telling me that in future my claims may not be accepted even though it was clear that the item had not been delivered. They couldn't even explain what this meant when I questioned it. Good luck if you order from them! You'll be lucky to emerge from the experience with your sanity intact!

Cancelled order. Was asked for a conference call with my bank to verify me

Was an active customer for a couple of years. They cancelled my order yesterday. Calling today, they need to organize a conference call with my bank to verify me! And waiting time by the bank is up to 1h, and that's above already being on the phone for 40min. Humiliating and extremely time-consuming. That despite 15 previous orders sent to the same address and paid with the same card. Todeloo Athleta, Gap, Old Navy, and Banana Republic. Will better save my money. There are enough other stores.

I chose the fastest delivery (next day…

I chose the fastest delivery (next day 2 business days delivery), and I spent extra 25 USD for that service.
And yet gap still use the “UPS ground saver “ the cheapest delivery option. Now my package is not going to be delivered on time… what’s that extra 25 dollars for?
Not a trustworthy company:(

Per ben due volte negli ultimi 15 giorni ho acquistato una felpa blu, l’ordine è stato confermato ma dopo qualche giorno annullato perché la felpa non è disponibile. Se e’ vero, perché è ancora regolarmente in vendita sul sito? E perché i miei soldi risultano ancora trattenuti e non mi vengono restituiti? E’ evidente che non siete capaci di vendere online, smettete di prendere in giro le persone con finte offerte.

Belle ville ensoleillé

Je viens régulièrement a Gap pour mes vacances afin de me ressourcer à la montagne et faire du ski en hiver mais aussi des randonnées en profitant du lac de Serre-Ponçon pour me rafraîchir en été.
Dans cette ville de 40000 habitants on
trouve tout ce dont on a besoin mais pour les problèmes de santé c'est plus compliquer, car les médecins et les dentistes refuse de prendre de nouveaux patients

Crappy customer service

I bought jeans in store last week and then yesterday I received an email that they were on sale. I called customer service to get a price adjustment. The customer service rep kept putting me on long holds and then said I would have to go back to the store to get my credit. The closest location is 25 blocks away. They have always done price adjustments via phone. Now suddenly they can only do it in store.. crappy customer service from a dying brand. Won't be buying there again

Refuse to Cancel Order

Awful experience with them. I had an associate in-store order something for me. I gave them my ID so they could enter in my address. Did not provide me with a receipt. A few hours later at home I checked and they entered the wrong city and state for my address! So I called customer service immediately and asked if I could change the address. They said they were unable to do that. I explicitly stated this was an error on THEIR end, which was of absolutely no consequence apparently. I asked if they could cancel the order and place another one with the correct address. They agreed but emphasized there was no guarantee the order would be cancelled. So I’d be responsible for paying double because of a store associate’s incompetence?? Wow. So at that point I told them to go ahead and cancel the order. They said they could put a request in but could not guarantee cancellation. At this point it’s about 3 hours since the order was placed. I asked if it had been shipped yet. The rep said no. So if it’s not been shipped why are they being so difficult about cancelling the order, especially given my explanation of the fault being on the company side?? I stated if it’s not cancelled I’m going to dispute the charge with my bank. The last unsurprising part being that the rep was unable even to email me confirmation of the cancellation ‘request’. Will never shop at Gap again. This experience was unnecessarily stressful and their incompetence and inefficiency is quite frankly pathetic.

Have had several problems with recent…

Have had several problems with recent orders. Placed my last order over over 80 dollars. Only three items were included in the ctual package have refused to issue a refund then told me to dispute it with my the card. Of course Gap decided to tell the bank this was delivered and yes they couldnt confirm what was int he package but that something was delivered so they shouldnt have to refund. HORRIBLE standards, ethics and policies. And i was a card holder.

Online store useless

I attempted to place four separate orders on the GAP website, using different accounts and different credit cards, all under my name — and every single one was canceled without explanation. I followed all the rules, and everything was in order.

I contacted customer service, and not only were they unable to help, but they also refused to escalate my case. I was told that no one could replace my order and that the only “solution” was for me to go to a physical store — without knowing whether I have access to one.

That’s a completely inappropriate and discriminatory response. Not everyone has the ability to shop in person, and this makes GAP’s online store practically useless for anyone who depends on it.

I’ve spent four days dealing with this issue, and I’m extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism, the broken checkout system, and the poor handling of customer concerns. I expected better from a global brand.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!

UPDATE: 7/18 The refund has still not been issued. I called 3 times this am and got 3 different stories. First one: the refund was issued as a gift card! Told them no, refund to account. 2nd call: Agent said the refund of $35.50 was issued...Tried to tell her that was for a top, not the jeans! She did not get it at all. 3rd call: was told that a refund is now in place for the correct amount. There was a problem with the refund system when they first tried. I have called approx 9 times to try and get a refund for $32.64. No agent could figure it out and kept giving me different stories. Probably never ordering from GAP.COM again! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

I placed an order on 7/4 for 3 items. The first 2 arrived within 2 days! The third item (jeans) have still not been shipped. After contacting "customer service" 3 times, they started a "claim!" Can you imagine a claim for jeans on sale for $32? Now, within 48 hrs, the claim will be reviewed. I am just dumbfounded. Never had such issues with GAP before after years of buying online from them. The customer service BS is beyond belief! A claim? Seriously? Just send another pair or refund! Ready to dispute it on my credit card. UPDATE: Today: They refunded my $ and are shipping me another via express mail.

Would not cancel fraud order

My password for my online account was a part of a breach. Someone used my login information to place an order.

I saw the order confirmation in my email and within 2 hours was on chat support with Gap. Two different chat support people refused to cancel the order because I couldn't provide the full name on the billing details of the order.

The billing details are no where in the order confirmation and this scammer knew enough to change the name on the billing details.

American support number was closed at that time, so I rang them first thing in the morning and asked to cancel the order. They said they canceled the order and put "blocks" on certain information like addresses... no idea what that means, but thought it was taken care of.

3:40pm I receive a shipping notice from Gap for this order. Are you F'n kidding me!?!?

Call support again and they say they can try to stop it at the warehouse, but "there is no guarantee" and that I should probably just dispute the charge with my bank.

I'm gob stopped by the utter inability to get the simplest thing done. Not to mention the tepid response to fraud.

I haven't shopped at Gap for years and see no reason to start now. They will be out of business before too long and I say audios.
