Versand und Lieferung könnte schneller sein, gute Angebote
Bestellungen brauchen in der Regel etwas länger (ca. 1 Woche) bis sie einen erreichen. Die Angebote sind allerdings so gut, dass es sich lohnt Geduld aufzubringen.
Bei meiner letzten Bestellung wurden von 6 Hosen 4 in falschen Größen geliefert. Ich habe dem Kundendienst Bescheid gegeben und hatte innerhalb von 3 Std. eine zufrieden stellende Antwort.

Nice and convenient
Since there is no GAP Store nearby and that means that I normally have to wait for my holiday travels to buy my GAP clothes, I really like the online store - good discounts, good clothes and free delivery with orders of 50€ and more.
Easy ordering process and easy payment.
Only complaint I have is that their jeans have changed in quality over the last years... but the other clothes remain to be in good quality. So I will continue ordering at gap.eu.
Delivered wrong item but compensated with excellent customer service
In an order of four items, Gap delivered one completely wrong garment (a woman's t-shirt instead of a baby's pyjama set).
Whilst that was annoying, their US customer service centre answered immediately and were extremely helpful (very much matching the stereotype of US service standards). They sent out a replacement item with expedited delivery which arrived promptly.
Also offered a discount off my next purchase by means of an apology.

Gap is great. I buy mainly in the sales but everything is better than expected. Usually with sales buys, you expect a few duds. Not here.
Admittedly even at full price the clothes are reasonably priced, and on sale are cheaper than many chain stores.
It's practical they extend the kids range to 13 years whereas most shops finish at 12 years.
My main problem is the choice. I want everything. The colours are amazing and often nicer/ more flattering than the website indicates.
Deliveries usually arrive in a week and they have no problem sending to multiple addresses ( handy for gifts).
Great website for sending out discount coupons of up to 30% off even on sale items. I don't live near a Gap shop so was unfamiliar with their beautiful clothes until I discovered Gap.eu.
The delivery is free if you spend over €50 which is too easy. Any time I'm in bad humour, I head over to Gap.eu for a browse. It cheers me up even if I don't buy anything.
Quality is hit and miss; extremely slow delivery
The good thing about this shop is that you get free returns, as quality and fit can be a bit variable. I generally like the styles and designs and can often find a few items that suit me, and as long as you look out for their frequent discounts prices are reasonable. However, for EU delivery you have to pay, and in my case (shipping to NL) standard delivery didn't take 4-7 days as promised but 12.
poor customer service for online order
I placed an order online for a shirt from GAP. There was a special offer of 40% off for that day. The order appeared to go through ok and my payment card was accepted. The following day I received an email from GAP saying they needed to confirm my billing information. I phoned their helpdesk which seemed to be in the US and was a very poor line. The man I spoke to told me to contact my card issuer to get an authorization code. My card issuer did not know what they were talking about. I still have not received any explanation from GAP and I don't know whether the order is cancelled or not. I will certainly never order from them again.
AVOID
Gap failed to deliver orders consistently and refund monies due, a common and rising problem with companies fighting for business customer service plummets still waiting for my money the cheaper the clothes the poorer the service.
Quality and delivery problems
The quality of the products do not match their prices. They are expensive for the quality that they come with. That said, I like the different and modern styles, so I buy from GAP every now and again.
The reason of my review though is because I am fed up with their home delivery service - which I pay for -. Once again the liar company YODEL claimed that they came to deliver the item no JD00 022 235 1071 5861 on 14 Saturday 2015, at 11.14am. Funny, as we were at home at that time and whole afternoon. I cannot imagine why a world class company is still using such an unprofessional, and plain liar, delivery company after so many proven lies from YODEL.
Great for clothes
GAPs website is clean and well laid out. They have a great range of products and although they aren't cheap, they are never expensive either. I have a running shopping basket so i can minimize the delivery charges which is perhaps the only area they could improve.
Cool Website and Products
I recently saw a pair of sneakers from GAP in a magazine that I loved. Due to their efficient processing, I placed my order and had the shoes on my feet the next morning! The postage price was reasonable - I did not have to pay an extortionate amount of money to have this service.
They have really reasonably priced, on trend clothes. I love the way the website is set out so that you can put together styles and looks without having to search too hard. I will definitely be purchasing from them again.

Just recently GAP had a sale on and I found a few items I really likes. Didn't have the time to try them on though and therefore ordered them online. Surprisingly I found every item I saw in the shop online and they even had my size available. I had no problem placing an order online which nowadays is a big plus and the delivery was just as expected, fast and everything in perfect conditions. Obviously not everything did fit me in the end, but that is more due to my choice and I faced to return some pieces. I decided to go back to the shop since I was near the other day and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I could return my online ordered item in the shop and it was no big deal. That is what I call outstanding customer service and I am shopping regular there now. Well done GAP.

Jeg har handlet børnetøj på gap.eu flere gange og modtager tit varerne dagen efter bestilling. God(!) kvalitet til prisen, fint design (især til drengene, synes jeg), tit gratis fragt, også til DK, ved bestilling over et vist beløb. Jeg er slet ikke færdig med GAP.
Fast delivery, good promotions, returning works and there are lots of fashionable items.
Have bought several times from Gap and Banana Republic. Delivery to EU is fast (DHL) and affordable. In some cases I got products next day after ordering. And I am living in the Estonia (it is like on the edge of the world). Returns policy is ok (I use ordinary post for returning), refunding works promptly. Quality of products is good. There are enough fashionable products to shop there.
Pretty good - but should enhance their website
Shopped with Gap several times. Pretty much always timely and correct delivery. I did receive a wrong item once, but this was sorted out nicely with customer service.
I have a gripe about the website though. You cannot narrow your search to available sizes. That's a standard feature most places, and should be implemented to improve the experience.
Also stocks seem to sometimes run low very quickly.

Great website, but unfortunate customer service policy
I recently placed an order with GAP.eu to be delivered to Denmark. I was very happy with the service until an item I ordered was delivered in a size different to that which I ordered (clearly marked on the order receipt).
On talking to customer service, it would seem that deliveries outside of the UK would have to cover the cost of returning an item that GAP incorrectly sent .
Whilst the customer service provider noted that the new item would be sent "free of charge", this is by no way "servicing the customer". I had already paid the delivery fee, and was now just covering GAP's cost for their mistake. Also, on the initial purchase I had an additional 15% voucher that, via this process, was not added to the reduction of the re-orded item.
The return postal cost was 75 Danish crowns (~£9), and I can only wonder if I might have to return the next delivery on my own dime again as a result of inefficient service.
I have otherwise always enjoyed GAP as a retail store, but find this little detail in their policy to be bothersome enough to leave the online site alone due to the insecurity it presents to the International customer.
Excellent service every time
Just recently discovered Gap site and ordered a few times from them. Can never get the size I need in sales in my local Gap store, so was so pleased to be able to order what I wanted for myself, my husband and son at sale prices on Gap site - fantastic bargains! Every time the order was processed with lightening speed and delivered within 2 days. Love the free returns service, which works really fast - refunds are processed immediatelly. Excellent communication by e-mail throughout the whole transaction - confirmation of order, dispatch, received returns and refunds. I consider it a perfect online shopping experience. Thank you Gap!
