I have the same issue. order cancelled by the gap after my payment. 10 days after my order it finally was set to be shipped...and suddenly "disappeared". A week later having talked with Anonymous, Denise, Heather, Janie, no solution only more problems. indeed extreme bad service from such a company not expected at all.

Retoure dauerte 3 Wochen nach Ãbergabe an Hermes, bis sie bei Gap einging und wurde dann wegen verspÀteter Retoure nicht mehr akzeptiert, obwohl die Ware am Tag des Empfang sofort zurÃŒckgeschickt wurde. So kann man Retouren auch reduzieren! Warte nach div. Mails noch immer auf weiteres Vorgehen bzw. mein Geld. Habe viele Jahre gern bei Gap eingekauft, doch seit Wechsel von DHL zu Hermes ist es ganz ÃŒbel geworden!

Ordered 2 pairs of trousers and was sent both in the wrong size, rang to sort it out only to be sent two more in the wrong size again. What's so difficult in getting sent the correct size?! If my size is not in stock just tell me rather than send me 4 trousers in the wrong size!!!!!!!!!

I ordered different styles and colours of jeans in the same size. There were huge variations, some I couldn't get into, others fell off me. One pair fit and I returned the others. That was over a month ago. My Credit card bill came in and I paid it. I have had an email 2 days ago that the returns have been received but they still don't appear in the 'My Account/orders and returns' info yet. The email tells me to expect to be refunded in 2 Card billing cycles. That's gap holding on to over £250 of my money for 3 months when the goods were sent back to them ON THE SAME DAY I received them. Unacceptable.

I placed an order for 5 items (3 for myself and 2 for my son). Delivery was quick, so no complaints there. Unfortunately, however, they had sent me the wrong size of trousers. I contacted them to request an exchange, only to be told that they "cannot do this" and I'd have to send the trousers back for a refund, then reorder them (and trust them to actually send the right size this time!) I decided to cut my losses, and returned the trousers and another item. However, that was 10 days ago now and still no sign of my refund. Unacceptable. Gap used to have good standards of customer service, but sadly it appears they no longer care at all.

GAP Customer service (or rather the complete lack of it)
I purchased a pullover in Chicago. On getting back to Europe I found that the Magnificent Mile store had failed to remove the security tag. I immediately contacted GAP and the Rugby office ( I wonât name the gentleman who wrote because I am more courteous than the firm) invited me to send it to them so as to remove the tag. I did so (with postal tracking) at a cost of 144 kroner (17 pounds).
The pullover arrived at the GAP Rugby office on April 17th, Since then the firm will not acknowledge mails or reply. They are doing .. precisely nothing.
I am as a consequence 144 kroner and a pullover poorer. I canât tell if it is GAPâs simple incompetence or deliberate contempt for customers. It is one or the other.
Neve use the online service again
I have ordered some clothes to be delivered 10 days ago. The progress tracking link on the original email takes you to a site that doesn't exist. The package tracking on the delivery email works, but only tells you when the goods are delivered to Gaps nearest delivery centre. I called customer support 3 days after the package arrived at the local centre and they told me it would definitely be with me that day. I'm still waiting 5 days later. Updated - After chasing customer service, Gap admitted they had lost my order. They also didn't have the right stock to re-order. I cancelled and wont be shopping at Gap anymore.
North Korea probably has faster shipping and better service
Awful. Ordered 27th of November and my order was only shipped on the 10th of December, after numerous times chatting their customer service. They were never helpful and kept just sending macros and pre-written 'apologies' about the delay. They promised me overnight shipping and even swore that it would be shipped from the UK to Ireland at 10pm on the 7th of December for arrival on the next morning. Obviously it didn't turn up. Following that I got an email saying they're backlogged and it could take 30 days (!?) to ship, maximum. I ordered two things. I've bought cheap tat from China without tracking that's arrived faster.
So on the 10th, I get an email saying it's shipped. Phew. That's a relief. But no, no it isn't. The tracking still hasn't updated as of the 12th - so I chat them again. The girl straight up offers me a refund. I didn't even ask - which makes me think something was up. I did ask, 'So I'm not getting my order - given it was mean to be overnighted?' and she said it looks unlikely. So now I have a charge on my account waiting to be reversed for an order I placed 3 weeks ago - that was never sent.
Just awful all around. I try to look for positive in everything, but this was void of anything remotely positive.
Very slow delivery to Ireland
I have been ordering from Gap online for many years. The delivery used to be very quick and returns were also dealt with promptly in relation to refunds.
My last few experiences with Gap online including my current order has left me extremely disappointed. Orders to Ireland are taking a minimum of 9 days, including the express delivery on the two times I paid for this.
Customer Service is always very nice and professional when you talk to them, however I have been promised 10% refunds, etc., that have never materialized which leads me to believe that they are only making these gestures to get people off the phone.
My current order is almost 3 weeks delayed with no idea when I will get it. I did receive an email with the T&C to confirm maximum delivery of 30 days. This is not good enough when standard delivery is supposed to be 4 days.
Returns I made almost a few weeks ago have still not been processed and I wonder if they will be.
I would recommend to shop in store if possible. Online services to Ireland are not good enough anymore.

Politique de mails agressive .Je précise qu'il s'agit d'une commande effectuée sur internet et si vous vous plaignez je vous conseille de parler l'anglais correctement la langue anglaise puisque les numéros de téléphone payants qui vous sont proposés vous envoient vers des operateurs en langue anglaise.Voilà mon roman est désormais terminé.Si d'autres clients rencontrent la même mésaventure, n'hésitez pas à publier votre mécontentement .Pour l'instant Gap jouit encore d'une bonne réputation mais faites attention lorsque vous retournez un article.Site GAP.EU
Slow shipping, but otherwise good
Shipping is a bit slow compared to most websites (I received my order after 9 days). There was no information regarding my order before they sent the package, but after that there was some tracking information. The customer service is ok, they reply within a few days. The clothes arrived in excellent condition.

Das Paket wurde nachweislich Ende Juli bei GAP zugestellt.
Seither habe ich nie mehr etwas von GAP gehört.
Ich habe bisher 3 mal nachgefragt, immer mit Verweis auf "15 Business Days". Diese sind nun um - scheinbar wird hier gewollt mit dem Geld der Kunden gespielt. Ob und wann ich mein Geld wieder sehe steht wohl noch in den Sternen. Einmal und nie wieder werde ich hier bestellen.
Als Tipp: nur bestellen wenn ihr den Artikel sicher behalten wollte.
PS: Lieferung dauert auch relativ lange (ca. 1 Woche).

Excellent customer service, free returns. Good quality items. Only issue for me that sometimes their online size charts are somewhat off. Like for jumpers I can always downsize, but for shirts/blouses I can never know and often have to order 2 sizes of same thing.
