Aside from the learning material what makes this academy the best is the support I have gained from the tutors. Due to my circumstances I don’t have the capacity to attend scheduled tutorials so all my learning is independent. Whenever I have needed support or had questions Charlotte Merrick, my tutor has been there to assist. The feedback I have received from Charlotte has been terrific. She has taken the time to read, mark my work and provided much thought and advice. I feel I have all the tools to make a success of this course. Thank you

Clear information

My experience has been excellent. The website is dynamic and interactive, and the texts are clear, specific, and easy to understand. The videos also explain everything perfectly, which really helped me follow each step with confidence.

I submitted my first assignment a bit late due to peak season at work, but the course became my connection to what I love most: creating different spaces to enjoy.

I think that the information provided was good; enough to answer basic questions but also to encourage further in-depth study of one's own. I would have liked the general garden design component to have more of an Australian feel - native gardens, biodiversity-friendly gardens, climate-sustainable garden. The section on plant taxonomy should have included descriptions f hybrids, varieties, cultivars, as so many plants naturally hybridise in the wild. Also, most availablrnative plants are hybrids - so their status as native flora is compromised.
