Initially excited about the convenience, but the insurance companies quoted much higher prices than the app. What’s the point in that?

From £670 to £532, thats the kind of savings I've found from using this app to find the best insurance deal for my car. I've only been driving 2 years and had coverage that cost me close to £700 per year for my new VW UP. I checked compare the market websites and they all showed the same £650+ quotations. But Honcho found me offers from insurers that left me at first skeptical and lead me to spend some time reading the Ts and Cs of the offers - too good to be true and all that. But no, everything checked out and now i'm £200 better off from not allowing my insurance to renew and instead found a cheaper, more protective policy. Just give it a go and see! I'm already spreading the word to friends and family.

Simple, straightforward, efficient and effective way to renew car insurance. And I’ve saved over £100 on my renewal quote!

Seems a good idea but had problems completing my details

I have taken out an insurance policy through Go Compare and requested to phone to validate myself and policy documents would follow . I rang the number and left waiting in the line ..and waiting ,,,, Whilst waiting I located Honco by e mail and received instant and useful response from Tom .

I did not realise that Honcho were nothing to do with my particular incident but Go Compare were the responsible party .

It was Toms excellent customer service that halted me cancelling the product I had just paid for . He is aware, listens and has empathy for the clients predicament thereby moving a situation from a negative to a positive outcome . A priceless skill set in these days of artificial intelligence that are slowly asphyxiating the qualities if initiative, creativity and common sense......known as quality customer service! Pleased to use Honcho. the App was user friendly and was simple to use on a mobile device. I also saved over £200 compared to my renewal quote :-)

Amazing customer service and was able to get me an insurance policy for £200 less than other comparison sites!

There was a problem when forwarding to the insurance providers site from Honcho. I messaged them on Facebook and got a reply in seconds. In 30 minutes (and with real time support from developers) they were able to give me a workaround and I got my insurance policy :)

After 5 minutes of answering questions I was presented with the best insurance offers I've ever seen for what I wanted. I did a quick test and selected all options available for insurance just to see how stupidly expensive it would be - to my surprise the top result was actually cheaper than what i was already paying with half the coverage. It's amazing. Worth trying and no doubt you'll be left like i was, wishing you had discovered this sooner!

I was really hoping to find a good deal there. The best quote was still 200 quid more expensive than my current premium. There aren't any major insurance companies, only the ones I've not heard of before. The website's okay and returned quotes reasonably fast. You can't delete your account though. I don't know if that's deliberate or there's an error on the website but I believe it may be illegal to store and process someone's data without their consent.

This company is a joke. They bragged how revolutionary and what-not they would be. They launched over a year later (sic!) than they had promised. Their quote is three times more than what I currently pay for my car insurance! A cheeky way to rob people of their money. You will find a much better deal on confused, compare the market etc.

Easy to use ,although it would be good if the form filing once on the insurers page was automatically transferred from the app.

Only received one bid for £230 a month to insure a 1.2 polo!? Insanely expensive
