Great App & concept. just need more insurers
Great App, Easy to use and teh concept is fantastic. Just need more insurers adding to make it more competitive. as due to not enough insurers the quotes are a little on the high side.

Waste of time, stick to comparison sites
App is easy to use and bids come in instantly. But apart from that absolutely poor. My renewal quotes on honcho are double/triple the price that I have found myself on comparison websites. Waste of time.

The prices are way off compared to everywhere else, the insurance companies are mostly small and unknown. The deactivate account option also doesn't work

These guys have launched too early as they clearly do not have market support yet - assuming they get it.
I’m a vanilla risk and yet I received one absurd offer.
You are better off with the usual price comparison websites - who will doubtless move to an app based system.
Update:
Interesting to note that Honcho have not made any comment to my review...

Couldn't recommend it highly enough! Use and share the love to friends, take back the power!
Very simple to use, clear, concise with no stupid.complex questions, just who you are, what you drive, where to and how much, anyone else.drive and that's about it. Took very little time and got great quotes saving money immediately. Have shared with all friends and family, about time the power was back in our hands and not the insurers!

Good simple app excellent quote
Good simple app. Am 52 and got an excellent quote which have accepted for annual renewal. Premium (inclusive of usual items) was less than £300 which compared to my requote from existing provider of £500 + (up from £420 previous year and which was sourced via price comparison site). So in my case very happy. Have read a few reviews re initial bugs ... suspect that in a few weeks this will be a very well resourced. Proof is in the pudding.

Excellent app. Definitely recommend!
Excellent app.
Very clear and concise. Licence scanner picked up my details straight away- saved me having to faff on putting it all in. App also showed me how far I was along the information inputting process.
End result... a quote £50 cheaper that I am currently paying per annum!

As you may have seen on some other responses, it appears that you've uncovered a bug linked to our deactivate user functionality, our apologies for this and we are currently fixing it as a priority. We should have a fix live shortly.
Meanwhile if you'd be able to send us an email to contact@gethoncho.com with the email address against your account we'll complete, in line with the GDPR "right to be forgotten" rule, the deletion of your data with immediate effect.
