Floor punctured in two locations from a couch. I’m only 190lbs.

Purchased from Costco now I have to redo a full living room and pay for installation.

I love my Golden Select flooring - it looks amazing and it's definitely durable (it's been in place for about 5 years now and I've had zero issues). I contacted the company directly to ask questions before purchase some stair nosing; they responded quickly and accurately. That speaks volumes about the company, I think!

I am not very handy female to do a job, that is normally done by male person.
Reading the product info, I decided to give a try, to get my sunroom a nice uplift. Well, after reading installation instruction, the work was done a click fast. Did 8 boxes. Put area rugs down and voila, it looks superb. Thank you Golden Select.

Do not purchase this flooring it is definitely not waterproof & the top surface will lift if water should get onto it & not wiped away for an hour.
We purchased enough packs to do our lounge, L shaped hall, 2 bedrooms, kitchen & conservatory from Costco Haydock. It has been professionally fitted in the hall, lounge & kitchen. We plan on getting the rest done when we can afford for it to be fitted & decorated. We purchased enough all together, for the whole bungalow, so that it would match.
Having animals, I extensively searched for a product that was waterproof & found this to be suitable because it guaranteed to be waterproof for upto 24hrs. It most definitely isn't at all. It has lifted in a couple of places where my dog has had a slip up & although it was wiped up on both occasions within around 30 mins to 1 hour, it is very visibly not waterproof.
Now I am unsure whether to pay to have the rest installed, because if the same happening again, especially in the conservatory where the floor may get wet, even with waterproof mats down.
Please consider very carefully before you purchase this for areas where you think it may get wet, because although it is advertised as waterproof for up to 24hrs, it definitely isnt

I bought "Laminate Flooring - Reducer - Toasted Almond" and it looks nothing like the floor. Both "Toasted Almond".

The colour of the reduce is much brighter and fall into cream colour category.

Everyone says it doesn't match.
If I could I would have attached a photo.

Looks ok until you drop something on it then the color turns to pine and looks awful. My 7 year old dropped his lunch box. This is crazy that a small lunch and a plastic box make perm marks on the floor we have had in less than 2 months! I contacted the company and they just said nothing like that was covered and to get a pen from the hardware store and fix it.

The installer said it was a nightmare to deal with and would never install this brand again. If it lasted I wouldn't care but now I see it is a bad proust all the way around.

Avoid this poor quality product. Planks are warped and impossible to joint. They sent out an expert (with clearly only one goal, to blame the installation), who downright lied in the report. Suggested the underlay was laid wrong way up (which it isn't. Easy to prove that fact a lie as I've got pictures during installation). Made other numerous lies. Stated the flooring should be put together with a tapping block (not according to Golden Select it shouldn't). If I had the energy I'd take legal action as the report is full of false facts but I think it's better to walk away from this farce. Save yourselves any misery and purchase from a reputable manufacturer.

Poor quality keeps popping up
This is the worst quality laminate flooring i have ever had the misfortune to buy
Spent hours trying to fit it and random pieces keep coming up unclipped
Do yourself a favour and buy a different product

Worst product - laid down in our living room and after six months floor started peaking and buckling. Some plank got locks broken.
Reported to costco but they said your floor is not proper.
I am going to replace it.
Waste of money.

Only install the design collection laminate flooring if you plan on replacing it shortly after. It looks great at first, but heaven forbid you clean your floors with any type of liquid. And don’t you dare ever spill anything. I’m talking spills that are cleaned up in minutes. Worst product. “Moisture resistant” is inaccurate. Bubbling and lifting at seams, throughout the home. Read the warranty information before buying this product. Basically anything that can happen, isn’t covered in the warranty.

I’ve just ordered 40 boxes of above flooring from Costco but after reading these poor reviews this makes me concerned about installing it . May have to return it and shop else where . I’m surprised Costco still sell it

Golden select do not answer emails ??? Absolutely dreadful quality .. chips at anything being dropped or touching the floor … I will take this further if I get no response… miss~selling is fraudulent and stealing peoples money..

Love my floors!! They were so simple to install and they look amazing. I also had a potted plant overflow with a puddle of water which I only noticed a few days later and happy to report, there was no water stain left! I am really happy with my selection of flooring! Need to buy more for my other room and will definitely purchase from Golden Select again!

These floors are exquisite. They look absolutely incredible! We've had them for quite some time now and they remained durable. We have kids in the basement that play around and still no marks, no damage. Very impressed given that this is not the case for most flooring after several cleanings.

Only because I cannot give 0 stars. Floor went down beautifully and looked really good - I bought over 30 boxes and followed all instructions for acclimatising etc and was so pleased that I'd found something with so many good qualities especially the 100% waterproof, suitable in kitchens and bathroom - high traffic areas, even light commercial and scratch resistant. Floor went down by expert fitters in Nov 2022 with expensive gold foil backed underlay. By January the floor was really badly scratched in numerous places despite no bad use. By February the planks were all bowing and by March the floor was coming apart and the lips were all breaking and the edges were chipping. The manufacturer sent out an 'independent inspector' who came to the conclusion that "the floor had been laid on inappropriate underlay by someone without experience, in their opinion to cover up uneven sub-floor and that was the cause of everything. The scratching could be repaired with products on the market and the flooring was not sold as scratch-proof but scratch-resistant and no manufacturing problem - the product is sound." !!! I had photos of the perfect sub-floor and the product going down perfectly with the correct expansion gap. I am left with a very large area which is now fully furnished with shocking flooring that looks at least 10 years old, is coming apart in numerous areas and is just an absolute disaster. DO NOT BUY.

Absolutely shocking. I placed an order never received an email to confirm the order. I rang customer service and was advised my order would be delivered over 10 days ago. Order not received and I have been trying for days to speak to customer service. They have not answered my email and have not returned the message I left . They have taken my money and not fulfilled the order for the moulding required to finish our floor. I clearly have been conned.

I bought Golden Select flooring from Costco and because with every floor installation you need moulding of same colour. I ordered everything what I needed straight from Golden select. I received some wrong parts . I tried to contact them they never answer call only option was to leave message but they didn’t want to call back . I emailed,no answer.
I will never buy their product anymore.

The worst laminate flooring i have purchased. Its been three years and the flooring is already on its way out. Complained to Costco and their guarantee stated o the packaging means nothing .They dont accept faults and blames customer. Highly dont BUY COSTCO Fooring. Worst on market.

100% worst flooring I have seen or used!
DOES NOT snap together at any angle!
Joints break apart..shread, chip, crack..
NOT USER FRIENDLY in any way
WHAT EVER was not used is returned the rest is tossed!!

Very very bad product … Costco reimbursed me 300$ out of the 1500 I paid .. floor is installed and will have to remove and start over . The wooden part is les the 0.005 mm thick. Breaks cracks extremely bad experience ….. the company claims no part in all this and have been no help
