I love my new tent. Easy to erect and spacious. Delighted!

I had to do a big shop here for west highland way gear. I was given great advice from Rory, and great service from Jane. It was a really lovely experience - thank you!

We have recently got back into camping after a few years break. We quickly realised that our needs have changed and set about tweaking our set up. Go Outdoors have been fantastically helpful, partulicularly when we had a problem with the new tent purchased. They exchanged it immediately and without any issues.

We have complete confidence in buying from them as Member Prices (for a small £5 annual membership fee) are fantastic and if there is an issue with an item it is dealt with straight away. You can't really ask for more.

We are travelling and needed a comfortable rain jacket to go hiking and a backpack. Evan was great helping us: he was super kind and patient, he understood our needs and explained to us the techs and specs of every option available. We are beyond pleased with his service and the store in general. We found everything we needed and more!

Very quick delivery of item (hiking shoes). Easy to order. These were a replacement for the same shoe bought recently that had a manufacturing fault. Even after many months had passed, a no-quibble refund as the shoe quality had not lived up to expectations. I was going to look elsewhere but the simplicity of returning them (albeit having to go into store which wasn’t handy for me) made me decide to give them my business again.

Some confusion over pricing on some items but Jane on the checkout was super helpful. Shame the store manager couldn't even come to assist when there were differences between online and store pricing!

Been coming to go outdoors at granton for a couple months now and never really spoke to anyone that worked there until Stuart came along. What a guy he is can tell he loves his job and loves helping others out which you don’t see much of these days he took time out of his day to help me and my girlfriend pick out the right tent and gave us good advice on other camping necessities

Popped in just to get a few last minute camping supplies. Wide range of products so wasn’t sure what to get - Stuart saw my confusion and provided advice on what was best for me. Super helpful and gave personal recommendations on a few things. Ended up buying a few things that I probably wouldn’t have, had he not suggested.

Very good range of products. Really helpful store assistants. Inga at the till was really helpful in providing tent care leaflet and letting me know about the discount for families with children in guides/scouts.

We were in the Edinburgh Go Outdoors on Wednesday to look at tents for our Scout Group. Thanks for the help from Stuart his knowledge of the products and helpfulness made the decision easier.

Great experience! Stuart was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, helping me choose the right camping stove setup for my needs. He also shared some excellent tips on hiking routes and destinations in the Scottish Highlands, which was greatly appreciated. The customer service was outstanding, and I’d highly recommend shopping at Go Outdoors Edinburgh.
