What a pleasant experience. Being greeted upon entry and when asking for assistance it was friendly and proffesional. Being foreigners traveling always brings questions not normally dealt with. Like the storm jackets usability in hot climate areas. Recomended a light and breathable but completely waterproof jacket. Highly recommend a visit with reasonable prices and high quality clothing.

Purchasing was no problem but I didn’t get a VAT receipt and 3 times now completed forms online asking for one as I need it by tomorrow and still nothing, I then phone up for a message to say for VAT reciepts you must fill the online form in, which I have done and got ignored
It can’t be that hard to given a vat receipt as it was not in the box when I collected the item
I won’t be purchasing anything anymore form them as this is going to cost me money myself now as I can’t claim it back from work as no vat receipt so lost a customer

Bought my tents on line went into the store to pick it up good customer service

Came in for two-man tent and some sleeping bags, Anya made us aware of the offer you had on and was so helpful- gathering the things we needed and running downstairs for other things. She was absolutely delightful and was genuinely pleased to put herself out to help us. So refreshing to find such great customer service when other young staff just tell you to look online. Thank you, Anya!

Simply great value and service. Ordered for pick up, and the assistant was friendly and efficient. Made sure I knew the T-shirt could be returned within 30 days, and offered a dressing room to try it on. I really felt she was cared that my customer experience was good.

We needed 2 fold up camping style chairs quite urgently and the store had a great range of choice and colour. Really good value (especially with our customer discount). Staff were helpful. Very happy with our choice - comfortable and sturdy and lightweight to carry.

Visited the store on the 31/07/2026. I was attended by Sammi. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and so easy to chat to. She listened to exactly what I needed and gave honest sales advice without any pressure. Her knowledge and genuine eagerness to help made the whole experience fantastic. Highly recommend asking for Sammi!

Anya was very helpful in helping me choose my merrell hiking shoes and very polite.

Thank you, Ciaran! We struggled to find the place and park nearby as we were returning a tent. Thankfully, we had Ciaran's expert help, including carrying the tent, directing us and answering our questions. He went above and beyond and we really appreciated his exemplary service.

We brought 4 tshirts off the peg in the correct size with no hassle for my husband who needs special sizing. This in itself constitutes a positive shopping experience!

Ciaran and Samri we really helpful and explained how I should.sign up in store not online and assisted with this..the store offers are a bit confusing with all the bits and differences so it was nice to be helped by such lovely friendly professional people.

I felt rather sorry for Ciaran as he clearly has some needy colleagues who kept being incredibly loud in his earpiece despite him saying he's with a customer.

Served by Anya & Ciaran who were very helpful with all the options of walking shoes. They took their time to explain the difference in the products and were very patient whilst we tried lots of different pairs on.

The Go Outdoors team were incredibly helpful, both over the phone prior to my visit, and in store. Anya offered some great advice in store over tents and was both knowledgeable and patient. A great team and very helpful. I will be back soon.
