I have returned roof box by phone, didn't collect it. Over a week and still didn't recieve money back

Good range and friendly staff.
However, cashier forgot to remove a security toggle at point of sale.

On entering the store today, we met Jack from the fishing department. He was very engaging and displayed great customer service skills. I've not seen him before but what a great addition to your team! We need more like him in every shop.

The best outdoor shop there is. Always my go to. Amazing staff & very helpful. One staff member in particular (Sam) at the Sheffield branch, he always goes above & beyond. Such a credit to the company.

Asked at the til for a replacement membership card as I renewed online and never received one in the post (I like to have the physical card whilst my husband has the key fob part) was told they don’t do them in store and to contact customer services, at which point I told the cashier I had contacted them and they told me to get this in store. He told me he would see what he could do. As he entered my post code and house number it came up does customer want a replacement card and the cashier pressed no, so I had to ask him to go back and press yes. Also when we got back to the car and looked at the receipt he had worked out the extra 20% discount incorrectly on my husbands T-shirts, this wasn’t a massive amount so we just left without going back in. But overall not a very helpful member of staff.

Friendly environment. Incredibly helpful staff.I was served on the till by Lisa, who went beyond to help me. I’m a manager within the JD group, and had never used my discount in a GO store before. Lisa was very patient, talked me through it and was very knowledgeable about the product. Lisa is a credit to your store! Will return.

I had a great experience thanks to Caroline in the Sheffield branch, who looked after me. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to help me choose the right dryrobe for my needs. I never felt rushed, and her advice really helped me feel confident in my choice. I even bought one for the wife. Excellent customer service and I’m very happy with my purchase.

Lai was very helpful when I was trying on multiple pairs of climbing shoes!

Attentive and knowledgeable help from Alex when I needed walking boots and climbing shoes for both children. He brought many pairs for them to try on and we found the perfect options. Saved us a lot of time and hassle compared to online shopping. Thank you Alex, excellent service.

I was looking on the go outdoors sales website when i spotted a fishing pole which caught my eye it was a clearance item located in sheffield , i rang the store on sunday the 21st of December to be told that the said item had been reserved for a customer who was due to collect it that day, Dillon the salesman also told me he had a much cheaper pole available which i agreed to purchase for a friends grandson whose just started fishing, and that if the customer didnt turn up for the pole i wanted to buy then it would become available. I travelled down from wakefield the following day to buy the cheaper pole and learnt that the customer had failed to collect the pole i desired ,a gentleman in the shop rang the customer who had failed to turn up and the gentleman informed him he was sorry but still wanted the pole and would collect later that day.obviously i was a little disappointed with this, but Louise the assistant manager who had been involved with my conversation stepped in to help
She suggested that she would search the go outdoors website and found an identical pole, she told me that she would escalate the issue up to her manager and beyond to try and resolve the situation and that she would keep me informed later in the day which she did with a phone call later that day to inform me of the progress she had made and that the customer had at late afternoon not turned up to collect the pole, but she would ring me Tuesday morning to update me, which true to her word she did and informed me the customer had failed to collect the pole again and a decision had been madeand the pole had become available and i was free to buy it, i travelled back down to sheffield and Louise handled the transaction for me.
I worked as a rep and sales manager for a fuel company for 22 years and also for currys electrical in sales for over 8 year so im qualified to give an opinion
Louise listened intently, understood my needs, acted in a courteous manner, came up with alternate course of actions and went the extra mile to achieve a satisfactory solution, she is indeed a credit to your company, a true Diamond which in this day and age is a true find.
Sorry to ramble on but she attained and deserves all the credit , im one very happy shopper thankyou Louise

Tried to buy a pair of altra lone peak trainers for my son as he has a foot condition and they are nice and wide and they were on offer, was sent wrong size to collect from store in Sheffield. Refused to exchange said we had to refund and order new pair. New order was then cancelled without our knowledge. Second pair finally sent and wrong size again. Original refund still not been issued for first wrong pair - so I have paid twice for a pair that are the wrong size. Everyone we speak to on phone says it's someone else's problem. Awful experience, awful customer service, will not buy from them ever again.

After a little confusion over pricing, Helen & Louise sorted it and were very helpful. Also the store had some amazing bargains!! Check it out. 5 stars.
