Inexperienced staff and procedures.
Before purchasing on line we visited Go Outdoors new store in Thurrock Essex.
The store it self seemed very nice and well stocked.
However, once we needed some help from the staff, they either told us to find someone downstairs as they did not work in that department… When the staff member arrived upstairs she really did not know much about the products.. ( she was very polite though )
Then as we only had a small car we tried to organise a delivery at the cashiers only to be told they can’t and I must order the product on line.

Everything was available that I needed for my horses under one roof at great prices. The staff member Angelos at the till was friendly, polite & very helpful providing me with the information I asked for.

I ordered and paid for two pairs of…
I ordered and paid for two pairs of Quadra Classic Shoes for pick up in store.
When I got to the store there was only one pair and I've still not got my refund for the second pair.
This is the second time that I've ordered two pairs of shoes and only had one picked.
If there's some sort of restriction on how many pairs you can buy online at any one time there was no indication as I was able to order two pairs and pay for them
I expect to receive my refund of £29.97 in the very near future given the delay between paying and collecting and now

We re sorry to hear that you only received one pair of shoes from your recent Click and Collect express order.
From looking into this we can see that the selected collection location only had one pair of the shoes in stock and available for same-day collection. This is why the second pair were cancelled. Please accept my apologies for this.
A refund for the second pair of shoes has been issued and we kindly advise you to allow 3-5 working days for this to show in your account.

Air tents come with the cheap £8 pump. Not the one needed to inflate with psi reading.
Staff at Thurrock store need so much training it's unbelievable.

On entering Go Outdoors i approached a young lady called Jazz and asked if she could point me in the right direction for kids Crocs , but she went out of her way to take me to them and pick me out the size I needed .Jazz was very helpful and polite I will definitely be returning again .

A big thank you to Oscar at the Thurrock branch. He was so helpful and extremely knowledgeable when helping us buy and fit a new rucksack for my daughters DofE expedition. Took lots of time and gave lots of helpful advice.

Very disappointing customer service
Very disappointing customer service. I renewed my GO Outdoors membership in store over two weeks ago. The store can see that my membership is active, but my online account still says I need to renew it, so I can't access member prices online. I've visited the store, called customer service, and sent messages, but the issue still hasn't been resolved. It's frustrating to pay for a membership that doesn't work properly online. I expected much better support.

Note to the web designers - I didn’t get an email or online notification that my order was ready to be collected despite ordering it 9 days beforehand.

Competent staff
Just wanted say what a lovely experience we had today at the store, we were served by a lovely lady named Kelly, she was very attentive, knew exactly what she was doing and helped us deal with our returns as well as our new purchases. She made our experience at the store less stressful shes a very competent staff.

Did not receive any notification that my order was in my chosen branch.
When rang the store whoever i spoke to wasnt helpful it just seemed she simply couldnt be bothered to help.
Really disgusting attitude
