Found what I needed easily then the checkout girl pointed out a bargain I was entitled to. She was called Niamh

Staff on the checkout were good. But be warned if your an epileptic, several lights are faulty and flashing. One has been like this from just after the store first opened last year.

Sue who helped me was amazing, totally encyclopaedic knowledge of the stock, and an experienced outdoor person. Super efficient and friendly too!

Carys was a wonder!! What a lovely polite girl she was so helpful with my daughter riding gear!! She made her feel so confident and comfortable couldn’t be more happy with the lovely staff

The annual subscription was dealt with swiftly, though postage was slower. Another year of discounts, Thankyou!

Very helpful at the York Vanguard Store. Saw a product online and they matched the online price plus helped us load it into our vehicle. Will Adamson along with his manager and the young checkout lad were all a credit to the company. Happy, smiley, knowledgable and a pleasure to deal with. Human interaction is just so important so thank you.

Wanted to give a shout out to the awesome Jack in the tent department at the Vanguard branch on June 21st. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and approachable giving us all the facts we needed to make an informed decision on which tent to buy. We went back today and bought the Berghaus Air tent 400xl. I hope this review gets back to his manager!

I came to the store to try on some walking boots after doing a considerable amount of 'window shopping' online.
After picking up a brand I thought would be suitable and Mark approached to offer assistance. He sought to establish what I wanted from the boots, he used my response to provide a handful of options for me to try.
Mark was extremely knowledgeable, listened intently and was happy to answer any questions, doing his utmost to meet my needs.
Great service! I don't think I would have left with the great boots I did, without his help!

I was served by Niamh who was great! Efficient and knowledgeable and equally importantly cheerful and enthusiastic. All round a great experience, product was delivered to the car as well, which was a big help.

I purchased some walking shoes and was served by Chris on the footwear department and what a friendly knowledgable guy he was - gave me sound advice and helped me find the perfect walking shoe - very attentive also

Iv been to the store to kit my son out for a trip to Malaysia charlotte was absolutely amazing, she guided us helped us and advised us on every aspect of, her knowledge was unbelievable, and so helpful, and made the whole experience a positive experience, thank you charlotte, you were brilliant ,
