We cannot thank Alison and the team at Green Willow Funerals enough for their expertise and care for my mum and our family at such a delicate time in our lives. Everything was carried out with respect, love and care, we were helped and advised throughout, and in all stages of the funeral planning and arrangements.

This is the 2nd time I have used Green Willows . Myself and family would like to thank Alison and the team. Alison made the process so very easy for us, with her warmth compassion and professionalism, taking us through the process of arranging the funeral and funeral day itself. We cannot thank her enough for all her kindness and help shown with our Loss Thankyou.

Alison Young at Green Willow funerals directed my late mothers funeral. I must say the whole experience from start to finish was professional and dignified. Alison kept us fully informed along the way and was always at the end of phone to answer any questions about the whole process.

Alison and the Green Willow team were absolutely fantastic with my brothers funeral. Alison went above and beyond for us and they honoured my brothers wishes from his death right to the collection of his ashes. Nothing was ever a problem for Alison she was fantastic throughout the whole journey. Alison was incredibly empathetic, supportive and accommodating from our first meeting to the end of the funeral. She has a huge amount of sensitivity and professionalism that was so very much appreciated at such a sad time.

Alison and the Green Willow Funerals team were wonderful in helping us celebrate my lovely Dad, Jim, in a unique, special, and uplifting way. She patiently and warmly accommodated all our requests, including taking Dad on his final journey via vintage Bentley. With their help, we gave Dad a wonderful send-off. We sadly lost our mum on 02/10/2025. She had a funeral plan and used green-willows. The family would highly recommend this company. Louise was very professional.

Mum had a funeral plan with Green Willow ... we had originally moved from another funeral service who we found sadly lacking in many aspects when they conducted my father's funeral 14 years ago.
And, how glad I am that we did. Louise at the Malpas, Newport, branch supplied a truly caring and very professional service, any problems I had she dealt with straight away, making sure everything went smoothly on the day. If the service provided at other branches is anything like I received at such a difficult time, then I would thoroughly recommend Green Willow Funerals.

From the moment we first engaged with Alison at Green Willow we were treated with kindness, respect, and patience. This will always be a difficult time in anyone’s life and to be treated sensitively is paramount. Alison made sure we knew what our options were, how me might best get the experience we were hoping for, and guided us where we needed that guidance. We were always aware of what needed to be done when, and knew exactly what to expect on the day itself. On that day, I can only say Alison and the team were exemplary in how they managed the proceedings. We can’t thank Alison and the team enough.

We used Green Willow for my Mum's Funeral arrangements and they were extremely professional, caring and willing to go the extra mile. Tom made sure that every detail was just as we wanted it to be, he even recommended a brilliant local company to print the order of services our daughter had designed. It is so rare in 2025 to find a company who is so careful to put the customer first; we wouldn't hesitate in recommending Green Willow to anyone who are seeking a caring and reasonably priced company to cater for all their needs when they are looking to honour and serve their loved one for the very last time.

Alison and the team in Heath, Cardiff were efficient, professional, and caring throughout the process.
Our situation involved a repatriation from overseas and Alison co-ordinated with the international funeral director to bring my wife home.
We actually DIY'd much of our funeral, but felt well supported by Green Willow for the everything we weren't undertaking.
I feel fortunate that my most local funeral director also happens to provide an excellent service. I also appreciate that the business is a social enterprise.

Alison and the team at GreenWillow provided an excellent service from start to finish in helping us organise our Mum’s funeral. Very kind and compassionate taking Mum into care and helpful in making arrangements just when you need guidance at such a difficult time. Alison was very responsive to queries & feedback, including one week when she was on holiday. Led by Alison, the service went beautifully with the team’s help & organisation. As a family we were really grateful. Tom was also helpful in the office & Paul very kind when driving us to the service & wake. We would certainly recommend GreenWillow as a company.

Angela and her team led us through this sad and upsetting process in the most caring and kind way possible. All the staff both in the leadup to and on the day couldn't have been kinder, more respectful or better organised, and the day went smoothly and provided a beautiful send off for our mum. Highly recommend them, and additionally they are a socially responsible business that gives back to the community and charities which is a lovely touch.
