I called out Groves Gas to look at an existing log burner at my new house following advice from a chimney sweep that it was not correctly fitted or safe. Chris visited to provide advice and a quote which was done promptly. Chris and Dave then returned and worked flat out all day to refit the chimney liner, chimney top and a new burner and I am really pleased with the end result. They explained everything to me, showed me how to use it safely and how to look after it. They made sure everything was clean before they left and were really professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them!

On discovery of a leak in the upstairs boiler at my Mum’s house I called Groves Gas......because British Gas, with whom my Mum has a service contract reverted to an automated response that proposed a call out a week later...plus I had seen Gas Groves vans in the local area previously.
My panicky call was answered with calmness and kindness, and an engineer called the same day to restore the heating. Another engineer called the following day with a new part to restore the hot water.
Both engineers were very kind and professional
As a result, my vulnerable Mum (she is 85 years old), did not suffer any undue discomfort despite the freezing weather outside.
We are very grateful for, and impressed by, the service received and would have no hesitation in recommending Gas Groves Ltd to family and friends in future

We had a leak on our boiler. Contacted them and they gave us a quote. We arranged for the job to be done and they rang us to say they could do the job sooner which was great. The engineer was very understanding to my anxiety of having people in the house because of covid 19. He used all the correct PPE for the job and shoe covers to. The job was done very well and he was very quick and safe. I would recommend this company from my experience today. Thanks 😊

Our boiler broke down last week during a very cold period leaving us with no heating or hot water. Groves gas arrived the next day, even ringing us before hand to let us know time of arrival. The engineer was very thorough,was here for around 1 hour, checking all the system before advising us that the fault was with the electric supply to the boiler. The invoice arrived this morning, call out fee only. Excellent service, will certainly recommend. Thank you.

Groves Gas replaced the hot water system for our dog grooming business on a Sunday which was very much appreciated as we could operate with no interruption to what has been a very difficult year for business’ regarding COVID. The service they provided was carried out in a professional and efficient manner throughout from initial contact to completion. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Groves Gas are definitely the company we will be using in the future for all our plumbing/gas needs.

Came out same day when central heating stopped working. Diagnosed seized pump. New pump fitted and system back in service in less than 90 minutes. Great service and reasonable cost.

I have been very impressed with all aspects of dealing with Groves Gas. From Kirsty who deals with queries and bookings promptly and efficiently, to most of the other team members I have met.
Our letting agent had arranged for Groves Gas to fix our leaking boiler, replace the kitchen tap and lay new piping from the front of the property and up into the bathroom at the back. They arrived on time, were friendly and courteous, and came prepared with dust sheets which they put down immediately.

Throughout the work at our house, they have been professional and considerate, not only with us but also to each other. And when finishing up the work, they tidied up after themselves, leaving the areas as clean (if not cleaner) than when they arrived.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Groves Gas to family and friends.

Had our boiler serviced by Groves gas and from the first point of contact the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Booking was easy, the fitter rung ahead 15 minutes before arriving , he was pleasant and helpful throughout and carried out the job without any fuss
