Site was easy to navigate and was clear in terms of items in stock, items scheduled / due in what month. My order was processed quickly and delivered in a matter of weeks!
There was some confusion with the order in terms of items delivered but was promptly addressed. I appreciate that this is a hectic time for a lot of people / industries and people need to have some patience! would not hesitate to use again!

Ordered my products over 4 months ago and still has not arrived. Have tried to contact them and they are now not responded to my emails. I cannot stress enough how much of a raught these guys are.

Carl Johnson, I have left positive review before and I will again today. My reviews are real so don't go spreading lies. This is my third order with Gym direct and every time it was received within a couple of weeks despite the COVID delays advertised on website. I will keep ordering. I have referred my friend from Bendigo and my son as well. Thank you for your prompt service. Georgie

I like most people bought $2000 worth of stock across two orders on 27/03 and 29/03. It’s honestly taken six deliveries since this time to receive all of my order and I received the last piece of my equipment today. All the equipment is of great quality and no complaints with that.

The process was incredibly slow, and like everyone else I was at a few points agitated and stressed at the money spent and lack of product. I received my in stock items sooner than my out of stock and back ordered items. I had initial issues with email requests going unanswered but ended up dealing with a regular consultant - Jo. I found Jo very helpful and kept me up to date whenever I requested information.

I know this isn’t helpful when you’re waiting so long for a product but I hope that it puts people’s mind at ease that eventually all the product will arrive.

Ordered early May $1200 plus postage. All items ‘in stock’.
NOTHING.
Rang , emailed. NOTHING.
Sent an email last week requesting a full refund. BAM email saying it’s dispatched on 22/06/20. No tracking details, no idea who is sending it. Don’t even know if it’s actually been sent, disgusting service, disgusting lies.
I asked for a full refund Which is my consumer right.
Please do not buy from here EVER.

I buy dumbbell from man. I buy on April. I was very cold day. He was very nice. I worry dumbbell was lost but man very nice. But delay because covid. I was very sick. My Wife very sick. But better. I like dumbbell. Dumbbell make me strong. Dumbbell very good. I buy more. I get strong. Very good dumbbell. Nice dumbbell but I buy more. Thank you man , you very nice man. I buy more.

I am posting particularly about customer service and how appalling the service was.

I ordered my dumbbell set on the 25th March and was informed that these orders would be dispatched end of April due to COVID-19, which I was okay with. At first communications were good with an email letting us know estimate dispatch times due to COVID-19.

After no dispatch email news at the end of April, I had to seek out the information myself to find that orders from my date of purchase were pushed back to early to mid May.

Then after no communication, on May 20th I contacted Gym direct asking them about my order. They responded promptly saying the date had been pushed back early to mid June.

Come mid June, still no contact and when I emailed to cancel my order because of the slow dispatch and lack of communication I received no response. I had to email three times, across a week to receive a response in regards to cancelling my order. They finally responded on the third time and said they would "put in a cancellation request to the relevant team" and I'll receive a refund in 7-10 days.

Come a week later, I receive an email saying my item has been dispatched and then next thing I know it's been delivered at my door. When I asked why my order hadn't been cancelled they gave me this response:

"Hi Berna
I do apologise for the mix up - With the order heading your way, would you like to keep it??
Kind regards
Jo"

In which I said, no I don't want it and if they will be paying me for returning my items because they are of no use to me now after two months of waiting for them!

Did I get a response? No. They clearly have purposefully deceived me in order to avoid losing money due. Secondly, they know people will probably not be bothered sending 20kg worth of stuff back!

Do not order from here if you want your item soon and want to rely on good customer service to keep you updated.

eCommerce done RIGHT!

I had purchased a set of 3 kettlebells during the pandemic. The kettlebells were out of stock as expected and took awhile to be re-stocked.
My emails were attended to quickly (during a period that I'm certain the business would have been inundated with queries). They shipped the 20kg one first so that I didn't have to wait around! Received the other 2 bells this morning.

Avoid at all costs. Totally misleading customers with 'in stock' items. Then delays of 2-3 weeks for them to dispatch, which is then extended to 4-6 weeks due to covid? Constant excuses on why they are so long and why the warehouse is still closed even when almost all shops and warehouses are now open to customers. Lying and using Covid as an excuse to abuse the situation. Absolute shambles and full of lies! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Dealt with Joe all the way through regards my order and received my product on today and also
received their discount promotion code because my product has been delay few weeks.Can't
complaint anymore as l can see they did their best to make customer happy!!!!will support you guys and thanks joe.

Regarding to my order still waiting for 2 weeks and they keep send the email to me which is awesome. Base on their email they are very busy with so many customers so l understand what their situation so hopefully my product will be arrive on this week because I don't wait too long please!!

Worst company ever! Don't be misled by all these 5 stars fake reviews. Money hungry company taking advantage of the covid 19 situation. Items were never in stock and using covid 19 as an excuse for delays.

I Brought power rack on early june during the discount,very happy to see their website always a lot product on good price but some of the product out of stock.Please restock more soI can keep purchase some more products.Joe is very good sale guy because he has been keep explain different detail with gym products which is very professional!!!!

Bought a product that Gym Direct had in stock. There was a warninging that it would take 2-3 weeks for delivery. After 3 weeks I tried to contact Gym Direct to find out when I will get the product. No response. Tried emailing them again twice more, still no response. I am still waiting for the deliver or a response. Very poor service. Will not be buying from them again.

Do your research on other gym suppliers. False advertising claims and similar to many other people on this thread had ordered equipment on the 24th of march for it to never materialise. Phone line has only just been put up again. No response to emails. Lack of communication is profound. Will follow up to ACCC if my refund isn't addressed in a timely fashion.

We placed an order for almost $600 worth of equipment on 29th March. We were told that there were delays in processing due to COVID-19 and to expect dispatch to be around early to mid May as we ordered before the cut-off time on the 29th March. An email received a week later said "roughly between 27th of April to the 13th of may". I then followed up mid-May as I had received no contact/expected dispatch information. I received a response which said "While I can't provide an exact ETA at this time, we are looking towards late early to mid June for dispatch." I have heard nothing since this last email on the 18th of May.

After waiting for so long and spending nearly $600 with nothing to show for it, I sent an email requesting a full refund on 10 June as nothing has been dispatched and there has been no communication. It is now a week later and I have heard nothing back from them. I sent a follow up email today, a week later, but I am not expecting a reply to that either. From what I have read, they are no longer replying to emails or answering phones. I will be going to ACCC if no response is received this week.

A bit lack of communication at the beginning so I try to send a few emails to their customer service team. Finally, I got a reply today Ashley has been explained my product will be delivered this week. Please don’t take my product away because I purchase products on your platform before which is I believe Gym Direct. Please chase up my product this week.

By far the worst place you could order gym equipment from. I ordered a power rack package on the 25th of March. It is now the 17th of June and still not have received a single thing. I had asked to cancel my order and be refunded early may, only to receive an email on the 1st of June that they would pass it on to the cancellation team. It has almost been 3 weeks, and still no refund. I have ordered equipment from 3 different gym equipment suppliers and all of them were able to send what I’d ordered within a matter of days. Yet it has taken gym direct 3 months to even consider refunding my order. I know and understand it has been a tough couple of months waiting for stock to arrive.. but this is beyond a joke. If 3 other suppliers could sort out my orders within a couple of days, why can’t you? They were in the same situation as gym direct as well. Yet they had the decency to say things were out of stock, or there had been a delay. Highly recommend not to buy from gym direct

Sent few emails back chase up Adjustable sissy squat product but received few emails back during the covid-19 all the product will be delay. I was very worry about my order as don’t want to waste any money. Finally, I was received my product on last Friday so I’m very happy about the Adjustable sissy and same as other review good quality of product. Thanks God They are.
