Sometimes good, mostly bad. Four times I have taken my car there over the last few years and on only one occasion I have been satisfied with the standard of work. First time they stripped the sump plug off my car, then tried to blame me (nonsense, I serviced the vehicle previously and most certainly did not over tighten the sump plug), then caved in and repaired it themselves. Second time they replaced two rear tyres reasonably successfully, third time they did tracking that was still miles out when I got the car back, necessitating me having to book it back in and get it looked at again. Fourth and FINAL time I took my wife's car in for two new tyres and tracking and they over torqued the wheel nuts, threading the hub, then spouting a load of nonsense about that car being on a special "blacklist" or "watchlist" for wheels coming off etc (total fabrication as I later found out). THey then tried to get me booked in to get a whole new hub fitted at my expense which I sharply rejected. This is the last time I will use these cowboys as I know of a few other people that have had bad experiences with the half-trained oafs that work in there...

What a dreadful service. For the second time in 3 years Halfords cancelled my MOT on the same day leaving me without a vehicle. I care for a cancer patient and I’m reliant on having my car so I can get shopping etc for the patient. They offered me no alternative appointments and just said if we don’t have room anywhere we can’t do it. A very bad service and a poor way to treat customers.

Thank you so much!!! I visited Cambridge (Coral) Autocentre and was very impressed. Kim and Phil are absolutely amazing. Their can do attitude is amazing. They were both very friendly, supportive and professional. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. They clearly explain all possible options in an unhurried manner. I have 100% confidence in their abilities. I really cannot thank them enough then enough!!!

Awesome professional service . Staff was friendly . Halfords honour their tyre insurance policy very honestly. Parking is a bit of issue at this venue. Need more space

Not allowing caterlist to work properlytrying to sell me a full service at£295 but no garentees of mot pass.to what end poverty NO ENG FAULT LIGHT ON NOT IN SLOW MODE BEST FUEL IN IT .... IM A. PENSIONER NO TRANSPORT DISSGUSTING INDIFFERENCE2012 CAR GOOD CONDITION BUT OLD LIKE ME.

A huge thank you to Douglas and the team at Halfords Autocentre Wick Scotland for getting my 83-year-old father’s car repaired and restoring his confidence in the branch.

Following a difficult few weeks, Douglas was friendly, honest and professional. My father was anxious about visiting, but Douglas put him completely at ease. He left feeling that he now has someone he can trust to look after him and his car.

Things can go wrong in any business, but how they are put right makes all the difference. Thank you to Mark and Danny for their support, and especially to Douglas for his personal care and attention. He is a real asset to the Wick branch.

Have used Halfords in Durham for a few years on my ageing car. They have kept me on the road without any unnecessary new parts sales pressure, or inflated price hikes.

Helpful quick professional and in my particular circumstances - no charge. Checked sudden tyre pressure drop found no leaks. Gave me confidence to keep motoring

Halfords Patrick , Crow road . Got tyre changed , Fast great work by the team , Knowledgeable staff at the Desk , giving me info as why my tyre pressure was dropping at tyre rim , they buffed and cleaned as part of tyre change , it's the extra details . Top Notch garage .

Booked a tyre check at the Waverley Industrial Park in Harrow London. Website was not clear about how long this would take or that you'd have to leave your car with them, obviously doing so requires you to make other arrangements to get home. I expected this to be an appointment where you show up and the check is done in 10-15 mins and you can go.

Booked here as it was on an industrial estate so figure it would be less busy and easier to park: wrong. Not only was parking completely full, there were vehicles blocking other vehicles so there was literally nowhere to park. Was told by autocentre staff to park on the street instead but I pointed out that was not free. Then when I turned up at reception for my appointment I was told I needed to leave my car with them for 3-4 hours. This is a ridiculous amount of time for a tyre check and also to leave your car on a street when parking is not even free because the parking lot is overfilled. Decided to just book mobile fitting instead of wasting my time here and with staff that seemed like the job may not be done well. Will never return here again.

At Kirkcaldy Halfords AutoCentre there was a warm welcome and a comfortingly honest experience waiting from start to finish. The friendly interaction with the Grant and Ayi management team quickly developed a feeling of trust and the service provided by both of them, and the mechanics / fitters made returning again in the future an easy decision to make. Very friendly and helpful staff

Major service booked on a recently purchased car so that anything not visibly wrong could be rectified before using it daily. Absolute proof that not all checks were carried on the 70+ checks included in this level of service. How much of the 'service' was carried out is unbeknown. I am aware of the £700 additional works that were found were completed though
