Booked my car in for oil and filter brake fluid change on Fri 26th April 2024 got a phone call at 14.00 to say they cannot do the brake fluid because they have snapped the bleed nipple but its not leaking so its ok to use but i need to take it to a machine shop to get it sorted and my back tyres had 4mm on them and needed changing so when i picked the car up later that day they said i need to sign a diclainmer to say the car is not roadworthey i am absolutely shocked at this service so not only am i left with a car i can't drive but a big bill aswell due to Halliwell Jones not doing the job proporly please do not take you car there very very unprofessional company not good Halliwell Jones

The BMW service hasn't ever really been great service; sadly, I buy BMWs despite the after care service. However, HJ now have a 'Self Service' which effectively ensures you can bring your car in for service without having to trouble them into speaking to you. I tried this morning and was told coldly, "I'm busy, use the self service" twice. I did and now I've just had a fruitless 20 minute conversation about the 'fault' on my car because they don't understand it when I could have covered it in person. Oh, and obviously the usual "We'll call you when it's ready" that inevitably means "You'll have to call us when you think we're ready" :(

Terrible service and poor skilled staff. If you are looking to buy a car, would seriously recommend you don’t use these. First time I’ve bought a new car and it’s been a horrible experience. Would never use these again.

Having ordered a new car in August 2021, and knowing of the delays from the outset, Halliwell Jones Warrington have been excellent. Big mention especially to James Kelly who has looked after us from the day of putting the order in, to the test drive, to finally collecting the new car today. If you're after a BMW, i would highly recommend this company and especially the Car Sales Executive James Kelly in particular who has been brilliant. Bravo !!!

Car collected by body shop - 5th Jan!!!!!
1st Estimated collection date - 11th Feb
2nd Estimated collection date - 23rd March

Just had a call this afternoon to say it won’t be ready AND they can’t give me a date.

In the meantime I’m paying just short of £400 / month to drive a drive a courtesy vauxhall corsa.

Oh and then when it IS ready I’ll be paying a grand excess - because you never think you’ll actually have an accident ..... Been trying to get through to claims to discuss and was on hold for one hour before the cherry on top - line goes dead.

Woe betide the person who gets my phone call tomorrow.

Brought a 2 series 3 months ago, they've fixed the little problem before delivery. They've also extended the warranty with a discount.

Purchased a BMW 420i xdrive coupe yesterday. There were 3 vehicles exactly the same at the same price of £26,450. I contacted the showroom to negotiate a deal as I had also viewed a car exactly the same model with less miles on but 3 months older which was up for just under £25,000 at another garage. After a few calls, I was told that the manager was not willing to go below £26,000 due to what the car was worth and wouldn't offer any additional services to be included at this price. After a lot of hesitation and thought I decided to go ahead with the sale, put down my deposit and picked up the vehicle yesterday.

Today I was shocked to discover they had reduced the 2 remaining cars by £500 taking them below what I had paid for them.

It was a sly and lousy thing to do and was as if they had waited to take my money before reducing the cars the next day. Not only this, the rear mats were missing from the car and I have had to replace the batteries in the key fobs as a notification popped up telling me to do so.

I would think twice before using Halliwell Jones Warrington for purchasing your car. They are only interested in taking as much money from you as they can.
