This is my update on my complaint which i posted yesterday. No sooner had posted my review than i had a phone from Clair at Handlestore who couldnt have been more helpful in sorting out our problem and explained what had happened and said they would post out the screws. Again my thanks to Clair at Handlestore

Missing screws with my order. I have ordered from Handlestore and can only say my first order was delivered on time and good quality. But when i ordered another 8 they again where delivered very quickly. But when i opened the box there was no screws with the handles,so i phoned them only to be told you need to send a picture showing the screws where missing Really i don't no how to send a photo,so i asked to speak to somebody in customer services and was told they will only respond to email they will not speak to customers,so the builder who is on site will have to come back when and if i can the the screws what poor service after having such a good shopping experience with them during covid. I wouldn't take out the screws and then phone up and ask for more.

Having been unable to source replacement UPVC door handles from the manufacturer of our conservatory, I used Handlestore's online Measuring Guide to identify a possible model. I emailed a query to the technical product support team, who responded within a couple of hours with helpful information. The door handles arrived within 24 hours of my placing the order & fitted perfectly. I am delighted with the outcome & the service I received.

Received my new handles very promptly, one was missing contacted the company and received a reply straight away. I cannot believe I have lived with my old brass handles for so long. The handles were of very good quality, were packaged well, I will be recommending this company to friends and family.

Can’t say a bad word about Handlestore. I ordered 10 pr of brushed chrome handles & latches, one of the handles developed a fault so I emailed customer support together with photos of the fault, after a second email the problem was sorted. The replacement handle arrived the next day. Can’t have any complaints, spot on.

Very inflexible ("computer says no...!"). From my experience I would only trade with this company if a 100% certain my order was accurate and I wouldn't expect any reasonable customer after-care to make corrections. I spent £160 on 22 items last year. Because of Covid it was only last week that I needed to use the items. I found out that in error I ordered one item the wrong size. They would not exchange it for the right size because it was after 28 day return policy even though the item was packaged and unused and they still sold it. I wasn't asking for a refund - just to replace it for a more expensive larger size. They would only send me a new single item at full cost using an expensive courier which doubled the price of the item which I think is completely unreasonable. There are plenty of other companies who are much more reasonable and flexible. The only good point that earn them the one star is their customer service response to tell me they wouldn't do anything was very quick - so at least you get the bad news fast!

Despite Covid, I was surprised that there is no flexibility in the refund policy. I contacted them one day over my 28days and have received a blunt no.
If you are not sure about your order then don’t use handlestore as they are not helpful when it comes to refunds!

Sent the wrong items, wouldn’t believe me until I sent them a picture then, despite them repeatedly saying they were trying to help, did nothing of the sort in terms of arranging for them to be collected; their fault so should have been done at my convenience.

First class service delighted with my new slimline letterbox. Found the company online. Delivery was quick.

Great product reasonable price and customer service is excellent

Noon yesterday I got a letter from our house insurers stating that they would not renew our insurance unless we had key-operated locks on our first floor windows. Not something I had even thought about. Little did I think that just over 24 hours later I would have completed replacing the 3 handles with lockable ones. Fantastic service and a fantastic website. Everything I could possible need to know down to the last detail – “re-use the old bolts”.

I asked for advice about a replacement handle, I got a super quick response explaining that the issue was probably that my sliding door required adjustment. A great service from people that clearly care about great customer service!

I had previously purchased a replacement cylinder lock, which was despatched quickly. Their guide to measurement was really helpful.

I would highly recommend this company, next day delivery, very well packed, the website was very good giving every size in detail, I was able to find and easy order the handle I required to replace the one I'd already got, it fitted very well and sets the door off nicely, will use again

One of the window handles I purchased earlier in the year stopped working properly so I sent a video of the problem on tuesday pm and 2 days later I have received my replacement handle. Excellent service.

Goods arrived very quickly however, if you are looking for a company that has excellent customer service, Handlestore.com is not the one for you. I ordered some handles for wooden windows and the page for them directed me to another ‘matching product’. This matching product turns out not to be suitable for my wooden windows although Handlestore argue that is ‘fits some wooden windows’ (the product is primarily for upvc windows it turns out).There was another product that was specifically for timber windows which was not listed as being ‘part of the matching set’. I was hoping to come to some arrangement with Handlestore.com whereby both parties cover the costs of returning the wrong handles as it seems to me the fault in my order was a combination of misleading information on the website and my inexperience. Instead of what I would consider good customer service I initially received a standard email and then, when I contacted them again, got a frustrating repose where I was told I should have identified the right product from the many products listed on the same pages. I will be returning all of the products and reordering from somewhere else.

I hardly ever leave reviews but felt compelled to do so for Handlestore. The website is easy to navigate and is very informative. The items I bought were lovely. Delivery was very quick. Customer support were friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Came across Handlestore on a general web search. An excellent company to deal with. Great prices, excellent quality and delivery! Next day delivery could not be better.
Really good to deal with a genuine company who care. Thank you to everyone at Handlestore. Will be my first port of call in the future.
