Let me say that I do like the product and it was slightly cheaper than other vendors. The troubles I experienced were excessive for something like a simple plastic planter container. Upon arrival, the box was busted and wet, with a gaping hole in one corner. The product was fortunately unharmed. I was never sent an email to confirm my order or provide any tracking information. I learned over 2 weeks after my online purchase (from a phone call I made which was luckily answered by a company employee), how the item I ordered had been on backorder. The company was supposedly receiving and shipping out 400 of this very item the day I called. Almost 3 weeks after my credit card was charged, I did find the item at my doorstep. Everything about the lack of communication and awkward customer service, together with improperly packaged shipment were all too much. I am surprised the product was even shipped after reading these reviews. Disappointed for these made in USA items to be so risky to order; I will have to buy foreign made items in the future because at least they are trackable via email.

It's been 15 days since my order was confirmed, and I have not received the honey bottles I ordered despite the fact that they were promised in 3-9 business days. Of course, my credit card was billed immediately. I've called the company numerous times but have not gotten an answer. I'm willing to change my review if I hear from the company via email. Sure wish I'd read the reviews prior to ordering!

Never and never will I use this company again. I will report to get them expunged from the Federal buying system. Bought and paid for products in February and the order has not been delivered and my request for refund ignored. They even hanged up on me during my last call.

Absolutely the worst buying experience I have ever had. Made a purchase on 6/20/2019. Shipping stated 3-9 business days. Item still has not shipped to this date and their customer service is a joke. First of all I did never received a tracking number for the shipment until I reached out requesting one. Secondly each time I called in I was placed on hold, hung up on, or told I would be called back because they had more important customers to attend to. Very rude and never once did they call me back when told they would do so. I called in to cancel my order and again I got the run around and was told I would get a call back. Never got a call but now they are sending me emails that my order has shipped. I don't even need this item anymore because I needed 4 days ago and had to buy one elsewhere. If you need something quickly or need questions answered do not do business with this company. I wish I could give negative stars.

Purchased a pool bonding kit on June 16th. Needed to get one sooner to have pool inspected by electrician. Purchased a product with a different seller on Amazon & received it next day. Contacted Corey at HOS Hardware on 6/25 and informed him of this and requested a cancellation of my order & a refund, He was very accommodating & polite and credited my card immediately. I received a refund verification in my email within minutes

Selling items they don't have in stock. Wait 5 days to inform after they charge credit card immediately. Bogus web site.

Unfortunately I used them BIG MISTAKE.
They advertised one thing the send you a inferior item. Sure you can return it but they don't refund shipping and charge a 25% restock

One star review is a bonus. Ordered two weeks ago, took 10 days after order to even speak to someone. I was cursed out by Corey because he did not even know how to look up the order number I gave him. He became frustrated and cursed me out. Finally spoke to Corey, and all he could tell me is the warehouse has not sent out the items I ordered. Also it would take three days to issue a refund and then how long before it would actually return to my credit card.

There should be a place for no star, for this company.

I ordered 2 pots for my garden very nice and cheap 5 days ago, I was excited because the same items were to much expensive in other online stores, to find out today an email saying that they feel sorry because they realized they don't have it anymore. It is a joke???? So, I will not recommend buying from this store. At least I received to emails, one when I bought it, and the other one to say they don't have it anymore, because this 2 email I will give them the star. Now I have to track my account everyday to be sure I get my return.

Would not show shipping cost easily. Cost excessive.

Ordered 3 pairs of glasses for PPE, April 17th, received immediate email confirmation of order and payment from them.

It is now May 2, and they will not return emails. No one answers the phone.

Glasses have not shown up, they never sent a UPS tracking number, and I am setup to receive UPS and FedEx updates for anything coming to my business address, no such shipment shows in either.

Confirmation email says "UPS ground 3-9 business days"

Pretty sure a fraud claim to my bank and CC are in order now.

Ordered some kitchen products that were not available through normal stores (Target, Lowes, etc.). Shipping a bit on expensive side but total (product + shipping) was less than other sites by a few dollars. Once order was placed, never got an email confirmation so did not know if order was actually processed. Luckily, I took a screen print at the end of the ordering process so I had something. Like others, tried calling but never got an answer. So was never sure if product would show up. And had problems getting back into website. Product did arrive after about 8-10 days and was the correct product and in good shape. Need to improve the website and email confirmation process.

Horrible company! Sent the wrong tool. Wouldn't even acknowledge my email to return item! Buyer beware!

This place is a joke I ordered a lawn mower bag and ten days later I had to call them to find out why I haven't received my product just to find out it hasn't been shipped yet. I asked for a discount since they jerked me around and they gave me 5 dollars off like really? I will never order from here again!

Awesome Service , competitive prices

Ordered a product on 1/26/19. Have yet to receive any update. They took the money from my account RIGHT away though.... I've called multiple times, multiple days. Phone rings for a minute then it hangs up on me. No reply back to any of my emails. I ordered through them because their in Ft. Lauderdale, which is only about an hour away from. It's been over a week and nothing. I could have drove to them and picked it up multiple times by now.

SHIPPING IS A WRIP OFF, THEY TOTAL THE SHIPPING AFTER YOU PUT THE ORDER THROUGH! $25 FOR SHIPPING IS RIDICULOUS, EMAILED TO CANCEL. NOBODY RESPONDED BUT THEY DID CHARGE MY CARD AND SHIPPED OUT THE ORDER. I COULD HAVE BOUGHT IT SOMEWHERE ELSE MUCH CHEAPER WITH THE RIDICULOUS SNEAKY SHIPPING CHARGE! NEVER AGAIN!

I recently ordered their Black Hat blow mold Christmas decorations and had no problem at all with this order. I called to request information about shipping, (there was no confirmation email with my order) and they told me the delivery date and it was delivered on time. The customer service was a little blunt, but overall they got the job done. Shipping to the mid-atlantic area in 9 days, earlier than the expected date from the shipping option.

I ordered 1 Mr.Grip little screw repair kit. item for $1.49 on 11/4/18, didnt show me overprice shipping fee until after charged total $12,45. HOS Hardware online store .com didnt show subtotal or total or how much until after charged. Sent Email to complain about high postal cost,Email not answered to cancel. I called cancel lady wanted my phone # have someone else to call me back.lady claim she will cancel it, i didnt have order # to give her at time, gave her name ,amount. i will dispute the cost if i have to. Just try cal this morning l got fax machine noise :(. that item can fit in small regular size.envelope.should cost only few $$ to delivery. they ask for your payment information before showing total U charged, should known better

I had a problem with the shipper, not HOS. They (HOS) were very accommodating in assisting me in the problem resolution. I could not have asked for more from any vendor in bringing my issue to a satisfactory conclusion. As an observation, I don't believe that they have a huge staff. The positive on that is that their prices are great because of the low overhead. The negative is that you can get your orders quicker from other vendors, but you are going to pay considerably more for that convenience. If you don't need it immediately and you can wait for your product, this is the best place to buy from. This is the first place that I will check for all of my future needs. One constructive criticism is that the online ordering site needs work. If your billing address and shipping address are the same there are no problems. If they are different, it doesn't work.
